This place is not good. The food is meh at best - taste is bland, portions are small (especially on subs) and looks could be vastly improved. What is really terrible is the service speed. I ordered a $12 eggplant parm sub and it took over 20 mins to receive it. Turns out it was sitting behind the counter getting cold. Now the cheese is all congealed and the sub looks like trash. Everything was so fresh! I had the falafel wrap, which was exquisitely seasoned! My husband had a meatball sub, and loved it. Great balance of meat, sauce and bread with perfect flavor. The owner, Ibrahim, came by and chatted about his goals and dreams for the restaurant, which was really wonderful because this is a man passionate about his business. What can I say about Beauty's except that it's the best. I'd get take out steak salad a few times a month and it was so good every time. I know. It's just a salad but believe me it's that good. The website is easy to navigate (you can choose the type of pizza, extra toppings and what side you want them on). $15 minimum for delivery. They do their own deliveries. Ok, out of desperation, we tried Beauty's again, and we are so glad we did! Every Tuesday night, we get home late and Beauty's is still open - for the past several weeks, we've been ordering 2 Beauty's pizzas, and it's consistently been delicious - we do pick-up (not delivery), which may be why the pizza is the perfect texture (we live very close) - the Margherita & the Beauty's top-10 toppings pizzas (minus the olives) are spot-on. The crust is lightly crisp on the bottom (just barely, not too crunchy, & definitely not soggy/soft), with just the right amount of sauce and toppings - it's lovely. We finished all the slices, no leftovers, which never happens. We 4 all liked both pizzas, which also never happens. The pizza tastes light and not greasy, freshly made. I'm tempted to try their avocado pizza, but we like our current order so much, we're a little afraid to veer into unknown territory... But, we're definitely thinking about trying their dessert pizzas next time! I don't know why the recent yelp reviews are so bi-modal (hit/miss), but maybe it depends whose shift it is to cook? B and I were trying out the pizza for a quick bite and it was barely mediocre. That's when we saw two rats sprint through the dining area and cross toward the kitchen. I really like Beauty's. I think the quality of the food has stayed the same in all the time I've been ordering from them and they have a great menu. I'm particularly a fan of the mozzarella sticks and the baklava . The portion sizes are large and I'm not mad at the prices. The delivery drivers have always been kind and friendly. My one tip is to ask for extra condiments on things like the burgers. I find them to be a tad bit dry, but I like to drown them in ketchup anyway so it doesn't much matter to me. Oh! Speaking of sauce, the marinara is excellent. It's very bell pepper and onion forward, which I love. Tastes homemade :). How this place has any rating above 1 star is beyond me. I ordered a large cheese pizza and it was literally the most disgusting thing I have ever put in my mouth. My girlfriend forced down two slices before almost vomiting an hour later. The pizza I received looked nothing like the website pictures at all. I ordered a pizza at 11:45pm. This is 15 minutes before they close. I'm aware that restaurants don't love last minute orders but in this case I think they took it out on me. This is the worst pizza I've ever gotten from here. Normally I would chalk this up to coincidence however this has happened before. Last winter I ordered food right before they closed and they sent me inedible food. This is inexcusable. They are running a business and they should have some pride in it. Solid four stars for the philly steak and cheese. I ordered these guys through UberEats. I asked for extra cheese, jalapeños, and pepper flakes. I was impressed by their use of fresh jalapeños and they cooked them for me into the sub which was so tasty. I hate picketed jalapeños. They meat was chunky and fresh tasting and generous. The bread was nicely toasted and flaky with nice flavor to it. A decent sized sub. I think they should have added more cheese though. Since we started spending time in Cambridge we ordered from Beauty's regularly and have always enjoyed the wide range of toppings they offer and the overall quality of the pizza. Last few times the pizza hasn't seemed to be quite as good as it used to be, but it was still better than a sharp stick in the eye and Beauty's has remained our go-to place for delivery. I especially like that they have their own website with online ordering, as I don't like patronizing GrubHub etc.. Last Friday, though, we ordered two extra-large (16") pizzas (from the website) and, an hour later, received two large (14"), and worse, room-temperature pizzas. It was late and everyone was hungry so I didn't call to complain, but today when I checked my credit card charges I was surprised to find that I had been charged more than the amount of the order (as stated in my email receipt). In fact there were two charges on the credit card, one for the correct amount and one for the larger amount, although when I called the card company they said that the first (correct) charge was just a pre-authorization. Obviously what happened is that Beauty's surreptitiously changed the amount before submitting the charge. It wasn't by a huge amount ($42 instead of $40) but it seemed like adding insult to injury given that I'd gotten cold, undersized pizzas, and regardless of the amount it's of course not ethical or legal for them to change the charge after the fact. (It wasn't a tip thing, by the way; the original $40 charge included a nice tip.) The only reason I am bothering to write a review is that I called Beauty's and they were singularly unhelpful, claiming against all evidence that the amount I charged was correct. All I really wanted them to do was explain why this had happened and maybe issue a credit for the overcharge but the guy I spoke to refused to acknowledge that there was anything wrong. So, buyer beware! We've long been supporters of Beauty's, were sad when they closed after a fire and thrilled when they came back, but this is the last straw. The pizza isn't what it used to be and they won't admit when they've made a mistake. (And now we'll see what my credit card company thinks about a company that submits a charge for more than the amount on the emailed receipt.) read more

This is regarding the delivery driver I had gotten tonight (1/25/18, 8:30pm). It was bitterly cold outside, and our delivery guy got lost. He couldn't make sense of our directions and was rude (he was complaining of the cold, and was losing patience to the point where we thought we seriously wouldn't get our food.) We doubled his tip, despite the attitude...because it was cold out and he wasn't the worst experience we'd had with drivers who were in the same situation who had cranked the Masshole rudeness up to 11. We eventually had to bundle up and find him outside...which negated the reason we got delivery i in the first place, but turned out he actually found our lobby and was waiting in there. Hopefully, this driver learns to control his temper in the future when dealing with other customers. I've never had a problem before with company orders to a nearby address in the same complex from Beauty's. I usually get friendly older gentlemen and other efficient delivery drivers. As for the pizza, it's pretty good...I may have tasted a good chunk of their menu over the years. The putanesca sauce is mildly spicy, and the avocado-wasabi pizza was surprisingly refreshing, despite not having much avocado. The Mexican is probably their spiciest pizza I've had. The Cheeseburger was the most interesting, and the Greek is usually the most popular at parties. read more

Usually we get really good pizza from Beauty's. I have no idea what happened today, but it was terrible! First, our order arrived 45 minutes late. When we opened the boxes of $85 worth of pizza for the family, it was visibly cold and dry. We ordered a simple, (which is basically a margarita pizza) with ricotta added, a simple with pepperoni, and a chicken parm pizza with ricotta added. All of the pizzas had super thin, tough overdone crust. It really seemed like they had taken pizzas from earlier in the day and re - cooked them. The ones with the added ricotta also seemed like they had taken old pizza and just smeared some ricotta onto the cold, dry top. There was very little chicken on the chicken parm pizza, and way too much basil on both of the simple s. I actually thought we had received the wrong order at first because they looked like spinach pies. The basil leaves were huge and tough, and someone was too lazy to break them apart a bit to make them more palatable. Unfortunately, it's going to be quite some time before I give Beauty's another chance.... Eventually I will, because I have received delicious pizza from them in the past, but considering how much we spent on this one order, the fact that they didn't take any care in preparing our order is a particularly painful experience. You can order a plain slice and add a topping to it which is nice since it's freshly added. My only real concern was the menu being extremely outdated. I figured the slices would be small so I wanted a large, and turns out they only make the medium by the slice granted the menu has the option to get it larger. So after ordering a medium plain and one with arugula, the quality was good; however I was surprised to pay almost $6 for 2 slices.
