So I came home yesterday after work about 6:30 PM and I really didn't feel like cooking for me and the kids by the way I'm a single dad and I'm very proud of it but I do struggle anyway I got a menu in the mailbox from Alfredo's Italian kitchen and everything look great on the menu. I thought some prices were a bit too high, but if the food was good, it would be worth it anyway I ordered an Italian calzone. It showed up an hour and a half late when the driver came to the door, he didn't even have change on him for a five dollar bill when I went upstairs we sat down to eat. The calzone was extremely cold, and it was extremely undercooked. It was very doughy more dough then meet anyway I called up and I spoke to the manager or he could've been the owner. He was very polite and said no problem. I'm gonna make a new one and we're gonna send it right over to you and I said OK thank you when the driver showed up as my son was handing him more gratuity because he took that extra ride. He said to us that he wants all the pieces of the old calzone before handing us the new calzone. Well we had broken apart the old calzone trying to eat it we gave the meat to the dog and we threw the doughy stuff away, and I just felt that was so unprofessional if they said it on the phone originally maybe I wouldn't have given it to the dog and I would've given him the pieces and everything anyway we did not receive the new calzone and hopefully we're the only family that has been treated so badly on my budget they really did me wrong but if they only screwed one family, it's probably not the end of the world by a beware. I placed a delivery order for a large cheese pizza, a Buffalo chicken finger dinner, and a side of fried mushrooms at 9:21 PM. I was told it would arrive within 30 minutes, but by 10:40 PM, it still hadn't shown up. When the food finally did arrive, everything was stone cold. The pizza was dripping more oil than an olive press, the chicken fingers were soggy, and the fried mushrooms were inedible. When I asked the driver if he got lost, he didn't apologize--he just shoved the receipt at me and barked, "PAY!" My family has been good customers of Alfredo's for years, but after this experience, we won't be ordering again. If you're considering delivery, save your money and look elsewhere. I am visiting from L.A. last night my friend ordered a pizza from this place as well as something called call a meatball parmesan sub. Now because I am a panda, I absolutely love to eat. And also because I live in LA we don't have lots of Italian places well I guess we do but I haven't found a good one. Now from what I understand people in this state don't like pizza from New York and they consider there's better however I can't really be the judge of that. Since I like both, but this pizza was amazing. The meatball sub was probably one of the best things I have ever had and I mean this in my entire life. We get take out from Alfredo's occasionally and the best thing about it is the value! If you get a protein added to your salad, they give you a ton. If you order any of the tenders, they also give you a to AND theyre the size of cutlets. Take out from Alfredo's can easily last you more than one meal and we definitely appreciate that! read more

I was able to order online, and I went with a regular 12-inch Hawaiian pizza ( ham and pineapple). The checkout was simple and easy. After checkout it said my pizza would arrive in 30 minutes. I'm (or maybe was at this point) a loyal Alfredo kitchen fan. A fan for 6 years and continued to support them when I moved 2 towns over. Excited to see they do deliveries in my current town so when my family does take out night, we order from Alfredo's in Somerville. Lately , we've been disappointed. We order the Buffalo chicken dinner with extra blue cheese dressing (which we pay extra for) and every time we order it, we don't get the extra Blue cheese. Shame on us for even thinking they'll read the order properly every time we order. So I'm paying extra for nothing. Giving 2nd, 3rd and even 4th chances have come to expire. We ordered delivery the other day and got the mama maria pizza (prosciutto , ricotta cheese, basil, fresh tomato, mozzarella) and the meat lover's pizza (salami, pepperoni, sausage, ham, meatballs and hamburger) and both seemed to suffer from similar problems. They both sound delicious but the flavor left something to be desired. I felt that both pizzas could have had more toppings or at least a better distribution of toppings. On top of that, I found the dough to be quite chewy for both pizzas. The mama maria's pizza had little amounts of prosciutto, which I think would have served its purpose better had it been in longer strips. The accents of basil were nice, but again I wish there was more of it to contrast the fattiness from the cheese. The meat lovers pizza was okay, but I wish it had more meatballs and hamburger because both were difficult to find/taste. We have been getting food from these guys for quite some time. We finally placed an order last week (b/c of the pandemic we hadn't gotten for awhile) for pick up - so they wouldn't have to pay the app fees or the delivery people fees. We got a very large order and gave them a great tip over the phone. Upon picking up our food - nobody/none of the workers were wearing a face cover inside. I was wearing my cloth mask and the girl comes up to the counter with no mask - she saw I was wearing mine and then brings hers up to her chin - not covering her mouth or nose. Thanks for the minimal effort showing you barely care about what's happening. This isn't what we needed to see, Alfredo's. Obviously I recommend not dining here in person if you're concerned at all w/infection spreading from people working here. They don't even bother putting on masks when people show up and spend a lot of money on them and give them a 30% tip. read more

The pizza and steak tips were AMAZING. We got the Mamá María pizza and it might be the perfect pizza. I love fresh basil on a pizza though. And the steak tips: cooked perfect, amazing texture with a nice little bit of char and the marinade is delicious. I was a little disappointed with my chicken piccata. Chicken was great, pasta was over cooked (fell apart oh the fork) and it was a little thin (too lemony) with very few capers. Would've loved more cheese too. Ordered a pizza from here for delivery and was told it would be 40 minutes. After 50 minutes, the delivery guy called and told us he was here. We went outside and waited for 5 minutes without seeing anyone. Then the driver called again and, yelling, asked why we weren't outside. I explained that we were waiting but hadn't seen anyone. We stayed on the phone with him for a few minutes explaining what the house looked like and what we were wearing. Finally, the guy checked the address, and realized that he had #220 on our street instead of #20. Normally, this would be no big deal, but the guy kept yelling on the phone, asking why we had given the wrong address. I explained that we said 20 but that the person taking the order might have added an extra 2. He continued yelling on the phone until he arrived and threw the receipt at me. My roommate came outside and he tried to give the pizza to her. She was confused and said "that's not mine" and he responded by yelling "just take it!" and driving away. It's no big deal to make a mistake in address, but this behavior was totally unprofessional and inappropriate. Wouldn't recommend you order from here unless you're in a mood to be verbally abused. read more
