There was a concrete patio below the existing deck and we wanted to match that, w/ reinforcement for a hot tub. We got a couple bids for the job. Danny was the estimator that came out for Forest and he seemed knowledgeable and was punctual and professional. It was not the cheapest bid ($6600 for a 13'X16' 4" concrete patio w/ hot tub reinforcement), but the company is much more well established than a couple others we consulted so I put more trust in their work. Rigo is the guy we needed to work with on scheduling etc. for concrete work. This was a little rocky at first, but that had a lot to do with us needing to postpone the start till our deck was done, but then also work around a vacation we'd be taking, and make sure the concrete had enough time to cure before our hot tub is dropped. Despite a slight language barrier, we worked it out and even managed to get it done ahead of when we originally scheduled it. Punctuality is impressive with these guys. For 3 days they were waiting outside our house to start at 7:30am precisely. They had to remove a portion of fence and work around some foliage for access. They ended up encountering an unexpected drainage tube of some kind while digging and made sure to create an access point for us if it's ever needed in the future. The concrete looks great and matches our old patio so well, it's hard to tell they weren't poured together. Danny and I (and later Rigo) discussed treating the old concrete to help the matching. At the end of the work they did a great job of cleaning up the area and returning everything to normal. Rigo also helped us by showing us how to remove the fence portion for when our hot tub is delivered and left the top cap off because he said we'd really struggle to get it off if they put it back. I'm happy with the work, communication, and cleanup and trust if there are any problems I will be able to get them resolved. If we have further landscape needs in the future I will def be calling Forest for a bid.

Thanks anyways!" however I notice that, while all previous messages had been sent via iMessage on my phone, this last one was green and sent as a text message leading me to believe the guy flaked the morning of and didn't want to deal with it so he blocked my phone number. I would have appreciated the heads up so I didn't wait around. Unprofessional and unreliable from my experience. my advice for this business owner is to grow up and communicate with your potential clients.

My job was large and difficult as it was located on top of a hill with my fence separating my back…read moreyard Perrenial Garden and an invading 400 ft row of 25-30ft trees. The neighbor had topped the trees and they responded by growing sideways. The job was to return the trees to the original topped height and bring them in to the fence line making them look like a manicured hedge. There were 3 trucks and all work was done by climbers passing limbs to a ground crew on my side. I was impressed by the organization and crews ability to work in my extensive garden without damaging it. Some of the limbs were 5" and lowered by rope. My fence and garden survived. Cleanup perfect and trees filled in perfectly for both my neighbor and I. Crew and Forman easy to work with, saw my vision and took an interest in what the were doing. Now over a year later the area is beautiful. Strongly recommend this company!

I reached out to the TD Owner though Yelp and received a very quick response. It was easy to schedule a time to get together and our bid was provided later that day. The Owner was great at communicating via email and through Yelp, which I appreciate since I work and talking on the phone is not always convenient. The two man crew worked quietly, cleaned up daily, and kept us updated on the progress. They were also able to change our gate from an in-swing to out-swing --- also at a very reasonable price point.
