We tried Washin Waggin tonight for the first time and we are so pleased! They were so patient with my boy. He's a 13 year old doxie and he is losing his sight and hearing so he gets spooked easily. He was a little scared at first and barked, but once I carried Him in my arms out to the trailer, he did absolutely great! He was such a good boy for them and they were so efficient and professional! Not only are the groomers personable and patient, they won us over with their sweet personal touches. I had a great experience with the ladies of Washin Waggin. My little cockapoo Gigi has separation anxiety and hates grooming, but is very sweet with everyone even as she resists grooming. (She'll bite at the dryer but give kisses to the groomer.) Gigi also gas a bad heart so it's important to reduce stress as much as possible. I've struggled to find a mobile groomer and had a bad experience with one recently. (He didn't secure Gigi on the high table and she jumped off and I saw him angrily handle her with roughness in response to her trying to lick his face.) My biggest concern is that a groomer treats her with gentleness and kindness and that's what these ladies did. They were responsive to setting the appointment and communicating. Gigi looked lovely and even had a super cute bow tie on afterwards! I'm so happy and relieved I found them! read more

One year ago I used Washin' Waggin' for my dog Scottie. He passed soon after his service. I am barely writing this review now because it has been a rough year and I'm barely finding time to do this. Norma and her partner were exceptional with him (he's the black mini Schnauzer in their photos with the little tie and cloudy old eyes). When she found out he passed, she came to my door to drop off a little grave marker keepsake for me. Who does that? How sweet! Did a beautiful job on our new rescue pup. We were nervous about her first groom since we just got her and she is really skittish. We also have severe allergies in our family, so we needed accommodations which Washin' Waggin' was more than happy to do. The owners were very friendly and accommodating to myself and my pups which was awesome! Only gave 3 stars because they shaved my Aussie's entire coat and that is a big no-no for the breed. It messes up their coat pattern and takes almost a year to grow back. I'm pretty upset about that since I did not ask for my pup to be shaved - only asked for a trim around his ears, legs, and paws. I assumed they would know to do so with scissors and not shave his full body due to breed standards but I guess I should have been more specific. I do recommend them just make sure you are very detailed about what you do & don't want done on your pup. read more

The experience of having your groomer come to you was amazing and super convenient. My dog came out decently groomed in my opinion, but it can be due to doodles being harder to groom. Gave her specific instructions on the groom with a picture but didn't really meet the mark. I just wasn't satisfied with the scissoring skills and my dogs head feels very lumpy and not very even. For the price, it was just not worth it for me since it's double a normal groom. read more
