Before and after of my boy! Our first visit to Pet's Choice was also our puppy's very first groom, and he was nervous at drop-off. By pick-up he looked like a completely different dog! We got the bath, haircut, sanitary trim, nail trim, and paw cleanup, and still paid way less than we've ever paid at PetSmart for our other dog. The haircut was ok my problem was the shaming. When I set up the appointment I let them know it was for a puppy and first haircut now that he was all caught up with vaccines and could not see with the amount of hair he had. They said nothing, but when I went to pick him up kept repeating how difficult he was and not used to anything or leash trained and I kept reiterating that he was a puppy so we are still working on training and that I made sure I let them know he was a puppy. But basically they couldn't handle it so don't go here for a puppy cut. Unless you want to be told over and over how difficult the whole process was for them. Never again. read more

I been taking my Frenchie here for a year now and never had no problems but I recently had a big problem the last two times I took her and this morning I woke up and my dog bleed all over my couches and floors and I thought she was on her period and no I look at her back toes my poor dogs nails were cut way too short on both back feet and I just cant imagine how sad and scared my dog must have felt while whoever was cutting her nails was cutting in her flesh and making her bleed this way and then tried to justify it by saying it was a minor cut so I didn't even look. But I would recommend taking your dog else where because they will never see my dog again. And what would improve this business is firing whoever did this because they probably don't know what they are doing. read more

Mmm I'd say the main reason for our visit was a haircut...which he got, but ...idk it was just not as "refined" a look as I hoped? Haha is that weird to say about a dog? Anyway I will say the workers are SUPER friendly, it took about 2.5 hours and according to what I paid for he received: -Wash (he did smell good when I got him) -Haircut (kinda looked like a person new to the job did this cut) -nail cut (they didn't cut it as low as I'd hope but nails were cut) -Anal gland expression (he now sniffs and licks his butt WAY less) -Ear cleaning ( I THINK-- a few days later he kept tilting/violently shaking his head and scratching at his ear, leading us to believe he had an ear infection ..so I ended up having to get drops for his ears. Was this something he caught at the groomers? I cannot just assume so.. the timing was just odd as this has never happened to him before, but I did take him on a walk in the grass across from the shop so maybe that was the source? Idk) Ultimately what I asked for was indeed done, just not at the level I hoped. Really nice workers though! read more

I called for an appointment for my cat and offered me one for the next day. Unfortunately that didn't work with my schedule but they were able to give me the day that I was hoping for. My cat was a stray who has been converted to an indoor only cat that needed a deep cleaning and they gave him just that. He is so soft and smells amazing. Took my dog @11:30a, she was done @245p (ish) I paid for the full service- bath, ears, nails anal & teeth, which is an additional 10$. All together my total was 60$ even. (And of course I tipped) Her fur looked so clean and shiny when she was done however her ears were still dirty. I called to ask if they even completed that service (because from the looks of it, maybe they forgot??) Never ever ever will I take my dog back to this location I use to love them but now I see they are lazy and rather shave your dog bald then take the time to demat it.... I didn't even recognize my dog when I went to pick her up... I left them a sweet little girl dog and picked up a little ugly old man looking dog. I now hate this place and will never return back. I wanna give them no stars and I really cried after seeing how ugly they cut her then they put her on a bandana she's a girl dog not a boy! I tried calling the owner to let her know how displeased I am with the service I received and she said I'm just trying to get out of paying which is not the case. The first time they did it, they apologized so I went back one more time. But the second time they cut it they didn't even bother saying anything and I was upset. When I went to pick Amber up, I was charged $57, I asked why and was told that I wanted a more expensive hypo shampoo which is a "lie". I always call early to see if they are available and they are always open to taking him in that same day. The groomers here are really nice and care about what you want.
