Appetizers took forever to come out,…read moreand our server never apologized for the wait nor checked on us to see how our meal was. Oysters were very good, but the calamari came out cold and was very bland and overpriced. The aesthetics are solid for the establishment, and the entree was decent. Not a bad restaurant, but the service is a major downside and needs significant improvement.

Starting out with the aesthetic, not a fan and not a huge fan of the layout. The black painted walls and low ceilings make it feel a bit claustrophobic. There weren't really any decor up yet when I went so it just felt dark and dreary. You walk into the dining room with a bar on the right with bar seating (very tight fitting) and then a bar all the way on the left? It was also super hot in the building the night we went so our party of 3 just felt squeezed in and uncomfortable. But moving on the to the food. We really enjoyed it for the most part, the burger being the best. My steak was pretty fatty and tasted okay. I liked the salad part. We ordered the burrata for app and was confused that it doesn't come with bread or crackers? So we asked for some on the side and we had to giggle at how tiny the little pieces were and the serving size. We needed to ask for a second serving of bread. All in all I would try it again but I'll probably wait for them to establish more of a routine and direction. I really enjoyed Rein Osteria and will continue to go to that. So I'm hoping The Reserve goes in a little different direction so our community as more unique options.

I just loved the cozy little place! We ordered off the happy hour menu at first and got chicken strips and cheese sticks and they were excellent! I love soup so I got the French onion soup and let me tell you it was literally the best French Onion soup I've ever had! I even ended up ordering it for room service again! Oh man the chef really flavors and hooks it up! The cheese is so yummy and those onions were just delicious! Honestly I wish I could find such a place here in Cali! I could eat that soup everyday and with it starting to get cold here it's the ultimate comfort food! Hats off to this place!

The shower water pressure left plenty to be desired and beds were firm with firm thickly stuffed pillows. The property seemed mostly clean however there is an overwhelming sweet sprayed fragrance which seems to suggest a mightily bad odor is being covered up to necessitate that fake sicky sweet scent in such vast quantities. Also the toilet in this room is ridiculous, I guess if you like sitting side saddle it's great, they couldn't have fit it any closer to the wall; it flushes about as well as the shower runs. For a hotel set up to display Ethan Allens design prowess they are struggling to say the least. We'll be returning to Hyatt house in fishkill for the remainder of our stays. The televisions seem not to have remotes that work and when you can get them to function it takes quite some time between channels for it to display anything.

Other than that, the drinks were terrible, service was terrible, bread was burnt, wedge salad had older iceberg lettuce but was still charged for it. Seen a lot of mixed reviews as every experience can be different depending on the day or current staff. My son ordered shrimp scampi and it was presented well. My son enjoyed his meal. The 2 rib eyes we ordered came out flaming hot. We asked for medium rare and my steak was cooked perfectly, but my wife had to ask them to put it in the broiler as it was still rare. No biggie. Sides of mash, mushrooms and creamed spinach were all very good. My wife enjoyed her mango martini and some other martini cocktail that I cannot remember. One hiccup my son noticed was his glass of water he had was dirty on and had some white oily substance floating at the top. At first I thought it was ice melting but when we looked at our other glasses we could clearly see there was something off there. My old fashioned was good and i got into the Halloween spirit and ordered a pumpkin old fashioned. Will not be doing that again. Was not a fan. Service was good. Everyone was polite. Mix certainly plays the part, and the decor of the place is "Prime". Looking forward to coming back and hopefully we will enjoy the experience again. Curious to see how it will be when it's busy. Lucky to have a steakhouse right down the block !

Unassuming from the outside, this local treasure opens into a cozy restaurant and event space with exceptional food and drink. Between the crackling fireplace, plush lounge seating, warm wood accents, sleek bar, and navy banquettes, the atmosphere feels both inviting and refined. The bartenders and entire staff were warm, polished, and genuinely attentive, creating an experience centered around the guest. My martini was aggressively shaken and served in a short coupe, topped with a delicate layer of ice crystals; despite the chill, the vodka-to-vermouth ratio was perfectly balanced. It was garnished with stellar Castelvetrano olives, freshly opened and proudly presented as an elevated touch to the classic cocktail. As for the fare, it was hands down one of the best meals I've enjoyed in quite some time. The Wagyu coulotte was cooked to perfection, accompanied by expertly prepared oyster mushrooms and crisp shoestring tallow fries. I could go on and on about the experience, but I'll simply say I can't wait to return. The thoughtful details and genuine hospitality made for an outstanding night out. We ordered the falafel as an appetizer and I will dream of this! You could tell it was freshly made and I don't think I'll ever have falafel that tastes better anywhere else! The waitress was very sweet and accommodating - even with their technology down. 10/10 would recommend!

We were able to easily get street parking right outside the restaurant. Note has a cozy casual feel to it, like a typical neighborhood bar and restaurant. It has a variety of table options and a nice outdoor patio facing the town center. Our waiter was very welcoming and service was great. We started with drinks- my drink was called the Spring Fever. It was wonderful, and quite a tasty spring drink. Made with limoncello, a vanilla liquor, club soda and perhaps a few more ingredients but they all worked for a balanced cocktail- the mint a perfect fresh touch! We got the appetizer of the sweet potato empanadas which was easily large enough to be a whole entree. My husband is a huge empanada fan and loved this vegetarian version. I got the pork and pear sandwich with a side Caesar. Such great flavors in the sandwich between the pork, pear, arugula, onions and aioli-really well done! The Caesar salad was also really good! I love when places give the option for fries or salads with sandwiches. Husband got the pork tostadas and enjoyed these as well. It was a great lunch just a lot of food so we had to take some home, bonus! We will definitely be back to sample more of the menu and possibly do takeout too. So happy we finally got to try Note!

We thought that the plates were small and especially made the salad hard to toss. There are several other options in the same area that offer breakfast/lunch at a more affordable price. We'd have to see some more positive reviews and menu changes prior to going back.
