Well, I have to say.. I'm pleased with this place for breakfast. I had hashbrowns, two eggs and a side of bacon. The eggs and the hashbrowns and the bacon taste good, nothing to ride home about, but pretty much everything I was looking. My wife had the biscuits and gravy She said nothing to ride home about, but it was good so I consider that a win. This is an extremely patriotic restaurant and they pay homage to veterans. I was passing through town. I've followed this place on Facebook, and have always wanted to eat here, simply because of all of the wonderful things that they have done for the community during times of need. The atmosphere is great. Their new location is actually an old Mexican restaurant. You can easily tell. I got a chance to meet. Becca herself. She is so friendly, vibrant, just a great person. She told me the story of how they had to move from their old location, and also showed me pictures of what this place looked like when they first took it over. They did a lot of work, and the place is amazing. I it's bright, , clean, and it's got a lot of character. Lots of lots of chatchki's and signs on the walls, there's even a retired video poker machine in the men's room. Why not?? :). The food is amazing! I had the prime rib scrambler. Prime rib, mushrooms, and cheese. The eggs were fluffy and delicious, they were very generous with the prime rib, which was tender, and had an amazing flavor, and the mushrooms, which were also tender and had a great flavor. The cheese complemented it very well. I had A very fresh cup of fruit instead of potatoes, I had a good quality marble, rye toast, and the coffee was great and they made sure to keep my cup full. The price is beyond reasonable, and they even offer a military/veterans discount. My only regret is that it took me so long to finally stop here. I would say they are nice and welcoming. Good was not bad not over the top it's hearty servings. We only got one of our orders of toast. My only issue is it's in need of some clean up the fabric chairs are really old and very dirty and hairy. That was not good they need to be trashed. The plates are pretty old too they have black scratches on them. Just a little perk up. read more

As far as a morning hometown diner feel, this place fits the bill and then some. Nice and warm inside, welcoming and pleasant staff that has been the same people the two times I've been in the past few years. Hidden gem along I5 if you're traveling through the Anderson area. They made me a couple simple sausage patty, cheddar, and over medium egg breakfast sandwiches that were exactly what I'd want. Simple not too much grease and settles the nervous stomach! Did not like the food at all. Surprised at all the good reviews. When I went I ordered a roast beef sandwich for lunch. I made sure to ask if the roast beef was red since I don't like well done and she said yes. When I got it. It was very brown and fatty in addition there was literally one slice of it in the sandwich. Since I wasn't going to eat it because it was not the way I'd ever want it, I just left it. Whatever it was my Mom got was just average, not worth it, won't be back. read more

I can tell you this, if you want great food at a reasonable price, this is the place! Wife and I used to go into the old place, and it was really good. than my wife started showing symptoms of Dementia and didn't want to go out to eat I lost my wife of 53 years Dec. 6th, so now the new place is my go-to place to eat. Incredible food. Stopped here on the way home from a camping trip and it is definitely somewhere we will stop every time!!! Best breakfast we have had EVER. This was okay. We happened to be in the area, only live about 15-20 minutes away, yet we wouldn't return. the food was fair- hash browns very undercooked; service fair- we felt like an inconvenience. When we asked about the special pancakes and how they compared to the regular menu item, she just said they're different... ugh... not the best service. It was my neighbor's birthday and she wanted to go to Becca's. We had such a nice waitress, but I didn't get her name. Well, it was such a nice surprise for both of us. Our waitress brought over a dish of ice cream all decorated w/whip cream that was decorated too and long stem cherries on top for the birthday girl. My neighbor turned 82 and we both enjoyed our meal to the max. French dip was yummy and onion rings that were so delicious too. Finally got to visit the new location! We went on a Thursday at around 1:30 and the place was nearly full! So glad the local community is supporting this business!. My only "complaint " is that it was clear they had lots of staff working and still it took quite awhile for a server to take our order and same with getting our order. We were seated at a table right by the door with a clear view of the kitchen so from what we observed, the cook was working as fast as he could in spite of the plentiful wait staff. There's a number of reasons that could happen I.e. not enough kitchen staff, change of shift, etc. we weren't in a hurry so it wasn't a big issue for us but was still a longer wait than expected. We ordered a breakfast combo and fish and chips. Good sized portions for the price! I did, however, have to ask for my bacon to be all the way cooked . I can't eat bacon when there's large chunks that are pink and raw especially when I ask for extra crispy. The server fixed it right away so it was all good All in all this is one of those local, hometown places that we need more of! We will definitely be back .
