    The Churro French Toast
    Anna M.

My friend and I went here for bunch and I was skeptical because this building was a Denny's for decades, but don't be fooled, this is NO Denny's! Everything on the menu looked so good and our server had to come back 3 times to ask if we were ready. We finally each decided on something savory, but ended up splitting the Churro French Toast (because how can you resist something like that?!). My Latino Heat Skillet was so good and super flavorful. I could tell it was made with quality ingredients and wasn't greasy at all. I will definitely order it again. My friend loved her meal as well but we both indulged in, and loved the Churro French Toast. It's perfectly sweet so you don't need syrup and the flavor and texture, with the balance of crunchy and soft, is perfection. Everyone was super friendly, we were greeted nicely, our server was fabulous and as we were leaving everyone said bye to us as we walked out. I am SO glad my friend suggested us eating here and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a new breakfast spot in town. If you're just passing through, this is the place to go for breakfast, don't bother with the others.

The best Brunch in Redding. Victoria, our waitress was awesome, friendly & attentive and recommended the best mimosa flight I've had in awhile. I had the best breakfast tacos vegetarian style & the food was delicious. The home fries were good and my breakfast tacos were delicious. They even gave my a fresh jalapeño to add to the deliciousness . Overall great brunch experience and I would definitely recommend. The mimosa flight was so good ! & my friend loved her bacon and food. Good and attentive service, glad I checked this place out. It was amazing ! Thank you

The Brunch House offers one of the best breakfasts in Redding. The extensive menu includes Early Bird Specials (M-Th until 11am) that offer a great value. We got mimosas and the 'Two and Two,' which includes two eggs, two bacon strips or sausages, and hash browns or country potatoes. Served with toast and beverage. It's a generous fill up your tummy portion for only $10.99. The service is quick and the atmosphere is lively. Pay at the register.

Now this is what brunch is all about!!! As a person that doesn't care for American breakfast because it's so repetitive it's nice to have a restaurant that is actually putting the effort into their fantastic dishes! First and foremost the blueberry lemon cheesecake pancakes are one of the best things I've had on the west coast! I don't think there's any pancakes that can compare nor compete with the ones I tried here. Chefs kiss to the crème brulee French toast. It's definitely one I did not expect to like as much as I did. And if you're more on the savory side like I am then the brunch burger is definitely a good option and the Latino heat omelette will have you feeling like Eddie Guerrero! For you non meat eaters, get the veggie hash. And last but not least, the stuffed French toast is a dessert, breakfast and brunch all in one. Shout out to Brandy and the rest of the crew. This place should be on the Yelp 100

The feel was like a diner but it was definitely a step up. Little things like the pretty plates and cute glass cups for water just made it feel fun. But the food....it was delicious. Each dish we got felt like the cook put some spin on it specifically and it was so so good. Huge portions that were actually worth the money. The tomatoes on the omelette I got were drool worthy. Over all an amazing experience!

Went in on a Saturday morning a little before 930am, we were quickly sat. Food took a while to come out but it was fairly busy! So have a little patience. My eggs and bennie was good: THIIICK ham slice but very very salty. So do not add more salt if you do that normally to any meal! My dad has the biscuits and gravy and the gravy was lackluster in flavor. But still alright. Mom had corn beef hash with poached eggs (recommended) and super good!!!! The service was great! A lot of the same employees from Logan's roadhouse so it's expected that you will have great service! Parking is mehhh. My caramel apple mimosa WAS SO SO SO good!!!! It had shimmer in it!! Pls get it. Or two. Hehe. I really hope they continue to roll out more new seasonal stuff! The tables were clean and neat and the music was great too! There's a mix of everyone in here. There's no complaints honestly. This is a great addition to Redding food hub! Can't wait to explore more of the menu!

The Brunch house was buzzing when we came, the food was delicious! They use 'R&R meats' and bread and pies from when 'Pie meets Breads' which you can taste. Their Menu is innovative and new, which we really appreciated. Service is very friendly and they try their best to make it quick and easy. The Ambiance is a renovated old diner (I think a Denny's). They didn't do any decoration really, so it could be a bit more cozy. But I would go again just because the food was so good!!

We stopped here for breakfast while our car got serviced down the road. Victoria T was friendly and very attentive. I ordered the chicken fried steak on the Early Bird Special for $10, and it was the BEST! Great seasoned breading and sausage gravy with big sausage chunks along with crispy hash browns! DELICIOUS!! Did I mention the sour dough bread is large tender slices to sop up all my egg juice? We will definitely be coming again. Bring the receipt back and get 15% of your next meal (except for this special menu).

A great addition to Redding! We really enjoyed our breakfast experience here. The place was clean, the service was good, and the food was fantastic! Parking isn't ideal unfortunately, but beyond that we had no issues and will definitely be back. Check them out!

The reviews were spot on because Trendy's did NOT disappoint. I love a good Monte Cristo and have tried a lot of them, but this one is hands-down the best I've ever had. The ham and turkey tasted like something straight out of grandma's kitchen on a special holiday, the cheese was melted perfectly, and the bread-to-meat-to-cheese ratio was absolute perfection. The service was just as amazing--Alma, our waitress, suggested I try the mango jam with it. I was hesitant (I'm usually a berry jam girl), but WOW... it was so good I ended up taking some home! My husband ordered the BEN sandwich and said it was delicious. He also had the fresh-squeezed orange juice, which brought back sweet memories of his grandma making it for him in a little amber glass when he was younger. Portion sizes are generous, prices are fair, and parking was easy--which is always a win. If you're passing through or local to the area, make sure you stop by Trendy's for breakfast or brunch. There's a reason they have so many great reviews! *REVIEW UPDATE* It was so good the first time we went back today! My Husband had the steak tacos and said they were AMAZING! I have a sensitive tummy and sometimes finding a good mix of carbs and protein can be a challenge. I ordered just a scrambled egg and since the turkey in the Monte Cristo was so good I ordered turkey all by itself for an added little protein! Dipped it in their homemade jam of course! For my carbs I ordered a pancake. (Kind of apprehensive about that from a prior review I read...) that review was way off! If that pancake was from a box please let me know who makes it cause it was so fluffy and yummy! As we sat outside we saw many people come in and out and the employees greeted many of them by name! I almost wish I lived closer so I could be a regular too! Sorry no pics This time as we are before we thought about it!

My personal favorite is the Peruvian Steak Sandwich (specifically with subbed-in sourdough bread) and truffle fries. Located in the Placer Heights Plaza, next to Starbucks. Same plaza as Holiday Market and CVS Pharmacy. We were seated immediately as they were not busy. The menu was a bit different than online. Our server came to take our order. He didn't introduce himself and seemed like he didn't want to be there. We decided on the fried green tomatoes, fried chicken sandwich and catfish po' boy. When the po' boy came out, we thought it was burnt! We didn't know the catfish will be blackened by default. We thought it will be fried since it is a po' boy. The options can be blackened or fried based on the menu online. We were not given those options by our server. They brought out the food but didnt provide utensils until minutes later. Fried green tomatoes: It was good. Fried perfectly. The dressing that was tossed with the side salad was super salty. Catfish po' boy: Fish was tender but super salty as well. Fried chicken sandwich: Pretty good sandwich. Chicken was huge. The fries was so soggy, not crispy at all. Also very greasy. We were a bit disappointed as we drove out of our way to try this place. Nice ambiance though. I felt I was a bit underdressed lol
