First time in Anderson Ca and boy oh boy this place did not disappoint. I had Benis Burger and wow! Delicious!!! I had it with garlic fries and bbq sauce on the side and the taste was amazing. If you're ever around this place I must recommend it. Great service from Luanna, she was very polite and on point. She was taking care of my table and a few others total pro! Nice little restaurant inside well decorated and it makes you feel right at home. 5 stars top to bottom. Will definitely recommend it to my colleagues when they come work here. read more

Very small portions for the price. If I am paying $18 for shrimp pasta I would like more than 4 small shrimp. No salad and no bread. Sparse meal. Nothing vegetarian. Basic side salad but no dinner salad options. No accommodation for elderly or wheelchair since they only have tall tables. Hilarious they have handicap parking and then no suitable seating. We had an AMAZING experience. We stopped by on our roadtrip and after 8 hours of driving, the entire experience was the best. Our waitress, Amber, was so incredibly kind. The food was phenomenal too. We tried gnocchi as a starter. My grandma has the tritip sandwich. I had the fried chicken breast sandwich, and my husband had the special which was a yummy molè! All three of us "foodies" were so pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. I wish we lived closer to make this a go to stop! read more

First time today to try Beni's for lunch. I was greeted when I came in by two of the staff. The place was clean and comfortable. Background music was not blaring like so many places do. I was seated and given water and the menu right away, by friendly server. I ordered their Tri-Tip sandwich. It came on a homemade bun, which was good. The Tri-Tip was hot and seasoned just right, and had cheese and mushrooms. If was hot. I ordered a house salad, that had many fresh ingredients and was very good. My server was very attentive. I live in north Redding, but I will definitely be back on my next Costco trip since I was already half there. Hat's off to the owners and staff, well done. read more

If you want a great burger, this place is it! They use great meat, it is consistently good, every single time we go in. The service is always excellent! Very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant can be casual, or it can be a little romantic date night. Prices are very fair, the food is all so good. Its hard to make a decision. It was a genuine treat to find Beni's for dinner on our road trip. The proximity to I-5 makes it an excellent stop for delicious "home made style food". Our favorites were the house made cheese ravioli with a lovely tomato sauce and the lemony risotto with generous pieces of shrimp and cheesy goodness. We complimented our meal with a lovely salad with sesame vinaigrette, wine and a quite tasty wine margarita. There's something special about supporting a family business which makes food with fresh ingredients "in house" - highly recommend if you are in the Redding area. I just had one of the best birthday dinners at Beni's. This restaurant hasn't been open very long and the owners spent months refurbishing the restaurant. The decor is pleasing with wood tables and a couple of booths. The menu has a nice variety of dishes and they also had a special. I started with the chicken chorizo tortilla soup. This was served piping hot and very tasty. This soup had plenty of protein and just the right amount of spice. I had the Birria sandwich special. This was packed full of meat and flavor. My wife had the risotto with chicken and she said the flavor was spot on. Also the serving size surprised me for how big it was. Two at our table had the house made ravioli. Tender and tasty, the marinara had just the right spices. The ravioli came with soft and flavorful house made rolls. Our servers were super attentive and friendly. This is definitely a family run establishment that cares for their customers. We will definitely be going back. read more

What a surprise to find this quaint little restaurant in the town of Anderson. Very tastefully decorated, loved the open windows to the kitchen...overlooking those wonderful rolls. Had the seafood ravioli...delish, stuffed with crab and shrimp though needed to be cooked just a few minutes longer, alittle too al dente around the edges. The sauce was scrumptious, top with chopped fresh tomatoes and parsley. Very lovely presentation. The roll was delicious, soft, warm and yeasty, butter needs to be softer. Nothing worst to me than trying to cut into frozen butter and then trying to smear it on a soft roll...destroys the bread. Service was excellent, very pleasurable experience...I will be returning to try some of their other items on the menu! read more

Literally some of the best food I've ever had north of Sacramento. Redding native here. It's one of the if not the best "fancy" places around here. Even though the food and ambience feels like fine dining, the prices are very reasonable. It's probably more expensive to go to Five Guys than here yet this place is 100000x better. I had the lemon shrimp risotto and seafood ravioli which were genuinely amazing and I probably think about how good they were on a weekly basis. Service was great. Let's talk about that lemon shrimp risotto- I'm still emotionally recovering. Creamy, citrusy, perfectly cooked shrimp - each bite was like being hugged by a gourmet angel. I honestly considered standing up and applauding mid-bite. And the French toast with chutney?? Who even thinks of that? Beni, apparently. The chutney was so good I was this close to asking if I could bathe in it. Bottom line: Beni is a culinary rockstar. If you're not brunching at Beni's, you're just eating breakfast. This is a gem in the Northstate! Food is fresh delicious and quality. The waitstaff is wonderful and attentive. They answered all our questions. The outside isn't much to look at and one would presume the inside looks like the outside but it's far from that! It's peaceful, calm and inviting atmosphere. It's quaint inside and we love the booths! The fragrant smells coming from the kitchen are drawing you in even more. The fries are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and the burger patty is thick. The lemon cheesecake is the perfect texture. First visit, first impression was...a little off balance at first. The parking lot had us going, " wait, what, here." We forged our way in the front door, this is the front door right, and things instantly changed. It's a very nice space, well decorated, high tables, booths and more. A pleasant young lady let us choose our table and tended to us throughout the meal. The space is split in half with one side dining and the other kitchen through a glass wall. It's an interesting look into a working "cooks" kitchen. My wife ordered off the breakfast menu. She had the vegetarian frittata without cheese and with delicious potatoes. She loved it so much she didn't use catchup. She loves ketchup. I had, as recommended by our server, the blackened salmon on a mushroom risotto. Yes I ate that for lunch! The dish made me feel fancy, such perfection and detail. I could go on and on about this place. There is obviously a lot of care and love put into this establishment. They were very accommodating to the point that my son-in-law sneered at his food because he didn't read the description and there was "sauce" that came on his burger. Every meal we've had has been delicious. We'd highly recommend this hidden little gem.

We were a little apprehensive given its location and setting, however we were pleasantly surprised. The menu online seemed limited, but it was three times the size once we looked at the actual menu. The food was fantastic as was the service. I would highly recommend Beni's for anyone wanting something a little more out-of-the-box than your typical Anderson/Redding establishment.
