We had an AMAZING experience. We stopped by on our roadtrip and after 8 hours of driving, the entire experience was the best. Our waitress, Amber, was so incredibly kind. The food was phenomenal too. We tried gnocchi as a starter. My grandma has the tritip sandwich. I had the fried chicken breast sandwich, and my husband had the special which was a yummy molè! All three of us "foodies" were so pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. I wish we lived closer to make this a go to stop!

This delightful family run restaurant has put Anderson on the map. Menu items made from scratch; no cisco products used. Excellent meals reasonably priced. Friendly clean atmosphere.

These Mahi Mahi tacos were bomb! Just the right amount of heat, aioli sauce was killer. Service was excellent.. 5*!

It was a genuine treat to find Beni's for dinner on our road trip. The proximity to I-5 makes it an excellent stop for delicious "home made style food". Our favorites were the house made cheese ravioli with a lovely tomato sauce and the lemony risotto with generous pieces of shrimp and cheesy goodness. We complimented our meal with a lovely salad with sesame vinaigrette, wine and a quite tasty wine margarita. There's something special about supporting a family business which makes food with fresh ingredients "in house" - highly recommend if you are in the Redding area. Oh, be sure to ask for one of the padded booths if you make a reservation.

I just had one of the best birthday dinners at Beni's. This restaurant hasn't been open very long and the owners spent months refurbishing the restaurant. The decor is pleasing with wood tables and a couple of booths. The menu has a nice variety of dishes and they also had a special. I started with the chicken chorizo tortilla soup. This was served piping hot and very tasty. This soup had plenty of protein and just the right amount of spice. I had the Birria sandwich special. This was packed full of meat and flavor. My wife had the risotto with chicken and she said the flavor was spot on. Also the serving size surprised me for how big it was. Two at our table had the house made ravioli. Tender and tasty, the marinara had just the right spices. The ravioli came with soft and flavorful house made rolls. Our servers were super attentive and friendly. This is definitely a family run establishment that cares for their customers. We will definitely be going back.

So... I thought I knew what brunch was. I thought I'd seen it all - eggs, bacon, a mimosa or two. But then came Beni... and now I realize I've been living a lie. My family and I wandered in on a random Tuesday, expecting a decent meal. What we got was a full-blown flavor intervention. Let's talk about that lemon shrimp risotto- I'm still emotionally recovering. Creamy, citrusy, perfectly cooked shrimp - each bite was like being hugged by a gourmet angel. I honestly considered standing up and applauding mid-bite. And the French toast with chutney?? Who even thinks of that? Beni, apparently. The chutney was so good I was this close to asking if I could bathe in it. Bottom line: Beni is a culinary rockstar. If you're not brunching at Beni's, you're just eating breakfast. And frankly, that's a tragedy.

The staff were very pleasant -- I was greeted cheerfully right when I entered. The inside has a classic diner atmosphere, relaxed and welcoming, exactly as shown in the photos. I ordered the BLT sandwich with added avocado, fries as my side, and a salad from the side menu. Everything tasted fresh and hit the spot after a long drive. The portions were generous and very satisfying. Perfect stop for travelers looking for good food, friendly service, and easy access from the freeway. Highly recommend!

They should use something other than the super processed cheap American cheese though, that was a big chemical tasting distraction from an otherwise good sandwich. I had two eggs with hashbrows and an English muffin. I asked for my eggs to be soft scrambled...and they were perfect. That is not usual as soft scrambled is very hard to do right. The hashbrowns were frozen (so are the country potatoes according to the server) so not horrible but not great. My English muffin was toasted well and buttered well so points for that. Service was also nice and prompt. We would come again if in the area.
