The chapel isn't setup with your typical church pews. It was arranged more like a wedding reception. After the eulogy was done we were offered a refreshments bar with sandwiches, snack trays and drinks. Unfortunately, times of loss can bring out the worst in some people and they don't always choose to be respectful of others and decided to make the day about their drama and take away from others' abilities to show their respects to the deceased. Well let me tell you, this place has got you covered. They have protocols in place just for that type of situation. We knew going into a recent service that one of the guests was likely to have unpleasant outbursts. There were uniformed police officers in the corners of the rooms without being a distraction. Because the funeral directors were aware of this risk, I'm happy to say that the service was conducted peacefully and we were able to make the day about what it should have been, a time to mourn our loved one and be there to support the family, not be on edge waiting for unnecessary drama to unfold. Everyone working here truly conducted themselves with class.
