Update: came in for a 2nd time to give the benefit of the doubt from 1st experience...horrible service. Unorganized and food just sucks. Done.. never coming back. Bathrooms are disgusting and smells like sewer. No soap or paper towels in bathroom... I will be lucky if I don't contract some type of food poisoning... people look dirty and stick their hands and fingers on the plate as the getting ready to serve. Just nasty. This breakfast was pretty good. The service was a little odd. Brought one plate out at a time not the whole breakfast for both my buddy and I at the same time. Coffee didn't taste too fresh. Random little hole in the wall restaurant, stopped on my way out of town. Lots of locals there who the waitress knew by name, always a good sign. Had a breakfast plate, food was delicious! Kinda a cross between texmex and country cooking. Definitely would go back, thanks for a great meal! read more

Delicious! Stopped in while passing through for lunch on a Saturday. Crispy tacos and fajita burrito-great flour tortilla and flavors were on point! The restaurant inside is fine, diner, clean enough-they have a drive thru. They are open till 2 on Saturday-sign on front say 3pm-it was 1230. One of the employees picking up dining area exclaimed they should just close now loudly...we were already getting our food to go, so that was weird, but everyone was friendly. Used to be the go to place. Last 6 months it has not been stellar. Been back 3 times, each a disappointing for different reasons. Super long wait time when the old staff walked out or was fired, breakfast tacos are smaller, cheese cold and not melted on breakfast tacos, and once charged another coffee price for a to go coffee. Probably won't be back anytime soon. Better options available these days. read more

Stopped in for breakfast on our road trip. Migas Mexicano was good--it has jalapeños but was not too spicy. The bacon was the perfect crispness and delicious. The potatoes were tasty--black pepper. They were hidden beneath my tortillas so I nearly forgot about them--a wonderful discovery! Huevos Rancheros also looked good. read more

Stopped on a road trip and really enjoyed it. My kids loved the menudo. My niece loved her barbacoa tacos and I liked my Gordita. Only thing missing was a really spicy salsa to go with the tasty meat. The service really made our stop pleasant. Thanks. read more

The staff is young but they're very kind. The food is pretty good. I had two decent tacos. I was witness to them having to deal with a difficult customer and was amazed how patient they were. I have to travel through Hearne frequently and will bring the family next time. read more

Found this gem on Yelp and decided to give this place a try while in Hearne visiting family. My husband and I are big fans of tacos, coming from San Antonio. We eat them a lot! I first want to start off saying how sweet, friendly and accommodating the staff including Becky are. They even went as far as to custom blend chocolate milk for my choc loving snob of a 6 year old I have and giving him a quarter for the gym ball machine. When you walk in, go straight to the counter to place your food and drink order. The menu has good options for the whole family! The staff let us sample the aquas frescas and the new horchata they just added to their menu. They were all really good! We went with the hibiscus and pineapple. They also have jarriscos, Coca-Cola products and other fruit juices. After you order at the counter, you are met at your table with delicious chips and salsa. I mean I could drink this stuff! I was so thankful for the extra cups they sent me home with. Our food arrived quickly and hot, fresh and very tasty. We had an assortment of tacos from the ground beef and potatoes (picadillo), Carne Guisado and More! The tortillas y'all! Hot and fluffy! My while family could eat them forever! We found this place on our way to College Station and decided to give it a try. Got the breakfast tacos and they were very good.

We recently stopped in for breakfast, two days in a row while visiting friends in Hearne from Tennessee. We LOVE their flour tortillas and their breakfast, no matter what you order is the best!!!
