Nice park nestled in a residential neighborhood. The playground equipment is pretty basic. There is some equipment for young toddlers (2) such as a little slide and a simple climbing wall but that's about it. The swings are straightforward as well -- bucket and belt style. What makes this playground stand out is the impressive canopy. While most playgrounds have small canopies covering individual sections, this one has a giant canopy that covers everything. There are also a lot of trees around it so there's ample shade. There is a lot of green space around the park which is nice. Just be careful for new and wobbly walkers since it's very rocky. Short walking trail that loops around. Picnic tables.

Here you'll find a splash pad, covered picnic area, along with additional tables, sitting under some oaks. There is a nice playscape and a sidewalk and encircles the perimeter with lots of oak trees on the property. At this time the splash pad is not functioning due to water restrictions in the summer. Definitely a nice park for the local residents, but there are no public bathrooms on the property.

This park is phenomenal. I must have told my husband and kids that I loved this park like 20 times. I think it's seriously the best playground I've been to. By the way, I noticed some photos here from a few years ago showing a much more simple playground. It looks like they gave it a full makeover and thank goodness for that! KIDS' EQUIPMENT: The play equipment is divided into zones -- one for smaller toddlers and one for older kids. They're both really great. I was particularly impressed with the equipment for younger kids because that's usually the most lacking at many playgrounds. The main playscape had the usual steps and slide but what made it stand out was all the little interactive add-ons. The designers used every opportunity (railing or wall) to add some sort of interactive element like a sliding ring or moving shape. In addition to the main playscape, there was a little igloo (watch out: a wasp was building a nest inside -- I'm going to try to email the district about it), a see saw, a little spinning chair, and more. Oh and there's a canopy over the main playscape which is great. The larger playscape for older kids was excellent as well. There were so many opportunities for climbing -- the net was super cool. Just like the smaller playscape, this was so rich in interactive elements. PARENTS' EQUIPMENT: This playground seriously has fitness machines. I was floored. Not just like a bar for pull-ups. Three machines. This is brilliant. So you can let your (presumably older, requiring less supervision) kids play while you exercise. TRAIL: There is a short trail that continues from the playground. We didn't walk it but instead crossed the street to take the Brightwater Trail. This passes through the Butterfly Garden and continues to Hairy Man Road. It's a short walk but very pleasant. The butterfly garden is small but lovely. PARKING: Small (but sufficient) lot with some shaded spots.

This is a local MUD residential park, not a public park. There's also an exercise area, swings and paved trails. This park is also monitored with security cameras. The trail itself runs behind many of the homes in the area and eventually leads into a larger green space where it turns into a circular gravel trail where you'll find some picnic tables and benches under the trees. Much attention has been paid to the grounds care and there's even a raised rest area with two benches. There are even some plant identification markers along the trail explaining the flora and fauna. The trail here does not connect up to any other trails. It just spits you out into a neighborhood where you can walk or bike to two neighboring parks several blocks away called Cheatham and Friendly Oaks Park. This large patch of green space and play area are a great asset to the local community as the 10 photos below attest.

There are no grills but there is a water fountain. There is no parking lot so you'll have to park along the neighborhood street. There is a large field to run around in, but there is no walking or bike path. It should be noted that less than half a mile away is Windermere Park which has a pool and amenities (see review).

Newest park in Cedar Park in the wonderful Bell District! This park just opened this week with…read morelimited amenities. The city is still working on park expansion, including a paved trail that takes you through the forest. This park is different from other parks in the area due to its close proximity next to the new Cedar Park library and the varied landscape. Much of the grass and forest is roped off to allow for proper time for growth and keeping nature natural. There are outdoor restrooms though they were closed when I went. They also have water fountains, a pavilion, and many picnic tables to study, eat, or just enjoy a conversation. Not much road noise can be heard from Bell Blvd, if any. The park is located adjacent to parking and the library so expect some noise. Parking looks to be very limited as street parking is offered. No immediate parking lots could be seen at time of writing. The trail extends from a sidewalk entrance on Bell Blvd and winds through the Bell District, linking up with Bell Park as it continues on into the forest. Many pet waste stations line the trail. As mentioned, the grass and trees are still establishing so the green areas of the park can't be used at the moment. But the barebones of what this park has now promises an eventful gathering space for generations to come. I can't wait for the future developments to come for this park!

This park (located in a residential neighborhood) has an excellent playscape (appears to be new, since older photos show a different one). It's well-designed with a variety of climbing structures (including a climbing web). However, there are multiple deficiencies: 1) no swings; 2) no canopy cover/shade (although there is a gazebo with benches for parents to sit in the shade); 3) no playscape for younger toddlers (the current playscape doesn't offer much climbing or play opportunities for 2-year-olds). It's a great option for older kids but I wouldn't recommend it for younger toddlers. Bonus for having a large trash can on-site!

There is a small covered pagoda with 4 benches along with an uncovered playscape area with some swings. The playscape area is ringed by a sidewalk with two picnic tables, but no grills. There is no water fountain nor any public bathrooms on the property. It is a public park, not private, which serves the local residents.

It's a nice neighborhood park, but it is a MUD park not a public park. You'll find playscapes, climbscapes, swings, a fountain and covered picnic tables with a grill. There's also a sandy volleyball court off to the side. What makes this park also attractive is the fact that it is connected to a gravelly trail system that runs throughout the area. A great place to hike and bike or bring the kids as the photos attest.

Cluck Creek Park is located close to Cypress Creek and Cluck Creek Trail, making it an ideal…read morelocation for team field sports. The big open field allows for different kinds of spirts, including but not limited to baseball, cricket, soccer, and lacrosse. Although this park doesn't have field lines painted on the grass, the field is well-maintained by the city of Cedar Park Parks & Recreation department. There is a small parking lot of about 10-12 spaces available, with a newly added concrete set of stairs down to the field earlier this year. There are also trash cans for anything you need to toss away and a dog poopy bag station near the parking lot. There are a couple of ways to enter the parking lot, either through the front at the parking lot or the back, which is more of a neighborhood entrance. Do note that Cluck Creek Park is a rainwater basin during storms so the field may flood a little at times. There also isn't a basketball court, volleyball court, or playground here, so plan accordingly. There also aren't any lights so hours are strictly sunrise to sunset. The park is adjacent to a greenway that runs through the Buttercup Creek divisions, which wild animals, including coyotes, have used to travel at night. The field is most beautiful during the spring when the wildflowers bloom, and it makes for a great place to picnic or watch the sunset.
