We've been looking for a place to get snow cones in the area and have decided Bedford Snoball is that place. Like many other snow cone places, Bedford Snoball has a long list of flavors. How they stand above the crowd is that they also have an even lengthier list of exciting "Combos" like Afternoon Delight and Berry Fuzzy Monkey. They also have quite a few candies and toppings to add to your cup. I got Watermelon and the fiancee got cheesecake. The ice was very much like powdered snow and not at all crunchy like some of the other stands in the area. Both had great flavor and thankfully their prices weren't bad at all. My only complaint was that the lines were so long. But when what you're selling is great, I'd expect nothing less. read more

Any snow cone place that offers pickle juice a.k.a. "pickle brine" as a flavoring had got to get 5 stars just For going out of the box. I'm not the kind of person who has a snow cone almost ever, in fact this would be my first in two years, but this place always seems to draw a crowd, and it makes you curious to find out why. it seems to be the great customer service inside as they actually offer you samples of the bizarre and fun combinations and provide an old fashioned kind of charm that seems alive in this side of DFW. That old folksy southern charm. This seems the hangout spot for the local high schoolers, with a High school football player working inside...probably what will be his Summer Job, you feel like you've stepped into a hallmark movie. with the sun shining on the green grass the benches around the giant tree. this place provides a wholesome fun environment in that Christian greeting card sort of way. Ive been going to this place since I was a wee-small-babe. And once I got my license and own car, I spent the majority of my summer evenings here with my high school friends! This place has the best snow cones in the area, and the best service! The owners are so friendly, and they staff and teach their young employees (usually high school kids) to be super kind and courteous to the customers as well. The drive through is always packed, but they move quickly and make sure your order is correct! My favorite is raspberry/peach with gummy bears mixed through! Why would I drive to a snow cone place that is 20 minutes away? I figured it out when I got there after several folks told me it was the shizzle. So, when I rolled up in the dad mobile with my son, his friend, 2 dogs and my niece and nephew, i knew that it was going to be an epic brain freeze. This place is a free standing brick building, in a neighborhood area with parking and seating. The line was at least 10 people deep, and took a least that many minutes to get to the window to order the goods. For the owner to pull that off, they must have something good when all they are selling is water and sugar. Yes, its good. The ice is shaved so finely that it takes on a creamy texture, and the flavor combinations are so diabolically sweet that I could make them a meal. read more

I went again last night and I just wanted to say that this Snow-Cone stand gives better customer service than 99% of any business that I have ever encountered. They will give you suggestions based on what you order to improve your cone or save you money. They are fantastic. They also practically begged us to let my dog have his own free snow cone because they really care about their customers. Oh. My. G! Bahama Bucks has nothing on Bedford Snoball! After having moved to the most East point of FTW by the golf course at Texas Star, a local shaved ice joint was a must for the summer months. We stumbled upon Bedford Snoballs after exploring our new surroundings. Upon arrival, the most noticeable attribute is that this place is a tiny little house with plenty of outdoor seating, games and overall camaraderie. The line of vehicles to go through the drive-thru is long, but moves quickly. The menu is extensive. I will admit that I don't know half of the flavors, but I'm sure they are all fantastic. We took our dogs and the people at the window asked if the dogs wanted a snocone. We didn't know what that enTAILed, but it was a bowl of shaved ice with a flavor. We didn't know what flavor to ask for, but our spaniels got Bubblegum and White Diamonds. They were in heaven! They have plenty of sizes and toppings for individualized experiences. Several Flavors to choice from, the best feature is their Daily Fresh Fruit Julibee. Sizes range from PeeWee to Jumbo. A small is more then sufficient for me. I like to add cream to the jubilee, but you can also real ice cream. They also offer ice for your dog! The ice is amazingly fluffy, best ice I've had by far. Being diabetic, we appreciate the fact that they always have sugar free flavors daily. Today, I had a peach & margarita and P had the margarita (non alcoholic, of course... these are snow cones!!!), and they both were very good. Really large lists of both sugared and sugar free flavors. There is commonly a line here, but it is well worth the wait. ...And the people running it are very friendly! They said the most popular flavor was strawberry shortcake. I have never had anything so sweet in my life, and I lived off of dulce de leche (caramel) during my 3 month stint in Argentina. I thought it was terrible, they use a lot of syrup! They do make their syrup from scratch with real fruit, that is interesting. If I go again, I will get something much more simple. We finally found our snow-cone home! I seriously drive by 2 places on the same street to come here when coming from my house! We came here for the first time after a camp that my daughter attended with a school friend and their other friends that attended the same camp, boy are we glad that we did! They have a ton of flavors,reasonable prices ... for me I like getting the peewee so that I can still get my fix without eating to much! I've gotten the orange both times and it is the kind of orange flavoring that I've been missing for many years ... they use an orange flavoring that isn't to sour/bitter!! Yay!! They have various benches and a few tables for those that want to sit there and enjoy their sno-cones. As well some bean bag tosses, jump rope & hop scotch for the kids to play with to burn off some energy! Plus they are 4 legged friend friendly, they have bowls that they give out with ice if you have your fur-babbies with you. They also have various candies, drinks, nachos, drinks and possibly chips. They have a drive thru that is usually pretty busy. They are cash only as well. The two times I've been they had a sign for their hours being 1pm or 2 pm until 10 pm; but that might be just summer hours possibly ... our friends mentioned that they are open thru possibly September/October time period based off of her previous experience. read more

I have been coming here since I was about 12 and I'm now 26! We found this little place when my family lived pretty close to it in Bedford. My family moved to Dallas about 10 years ago and we still make the trip to Bedford to visit them. I don't think I've had a better snowball in Texas! It's hard to compete with the snoballs from Louisiana but this place is like home away from home. Sooooo good! There are so many options and no matter what you get, you will not be disappointed. They have really good cotton candy too. And the icing on top of their delicious treats is that the staff is sooooooo friendly! They are the sweetest people you'll ever meet and will make you want to come back.
