They out right lied to me. I went in to buy a new mattress since the old one (that I had bought from them) was completely broke down. I was directed to contact their warranty department. I did, but I needed a mattress now since the old one was so worn out. The warranty department slow played me for two months. Finally, the warranty was resolved. This left me with a king sized mattress standing against the wall in my bedroom. Luis Vega had said he would come and get the mattress if I sound up stuck with it. I called them several times. First they acted like we had made up the entire story and would not help us. After several days of phone calls Luis Vega said we could take the king sized mattress to them. That is not what he promised us. I am so done with this company. I will never set foot inside a bed mart again. You have lost my business for ever. read more

Went into the store and was greeted very kindly. The woman working was very friendly and attentive but not pushy. She suggested a few mattresses and even checked to make sure the alignment of our backs looked correct. We ended up buying the Northrop. The delivery was smooth and on time. They gave me a window then called the day before to tell me when they would actually be there. 11-1 window..said they would be here at about 11:45. Arrived at 12:00. I feel like that's the best delivery service I have ever had. The men were nice, friendly, and super efficient. Job was done super quick like maybe 30 mins. (I'm guessing might have been longer or shorter. I just know it was under an hour) They set up a metal bed frame, the box spring and the mattress. I sat on the bed maybe 3 times and it sounded like the wood slats weren't all the way down or something...like maybe they were caught on a lip? But it hasn't made that sound again so maybe it was just adjusting to me being on it? The mattress is heavy and I couldn't really lift it to see what was going on so I let it be. So far that would be my only complaint if you can even call that a complaint. Last night was the first night we slept on the mattress. I slept really well! No back pain or shoulder pain when I woke up. I am a side sleeper and have kind of a bum shoulder so that was nice. I did have a tiny bit of soreness but that's with any new mattress as your body adjusts. It went away within the first 30 mins of being awake. I plan on doing an update after a month of laying on the mattress. But overall as of right now I am super impressed! Great customer service in store, high quality mattress you can tell has great craftsmanship, efficient and quick delivery/setup, and a great nights sleep! So happy I chose to go local! read more

Really impressed with this local company! We wanted to upgrade to a king size bed and also wanted to shop local from a company that uses sustainable practices. We did have some problems with the first bed we selected, it was very comfortable but we kept running hot, temperature wise, at night. Parklane was super accommodating with us and helped us find a better mattress for our needs. To my surprise there were absolutely no hassles with exchanging our mattress and this type of customer service blew me away. Bought a king size Powell bed today. Gus, who usually is out in Tualatin helped us out today. I've been to other mattress stores before and have always felt "watched over" and bothered by sales pitches and pressure. At Parklane, I felt welcomed to browse on my own and ask questions at my convenience. The service was great and the product clearly stands out on its own. I couldn't have been happier with buying an eco-friendly and locally made product. Also, free delivery and pickup/recycling (extra cost) of our old mattress. I went to this location several times to try the floor sample mattresses and talk to Representatives. They recommended we try the Lake Oswego store because they have more floor sample mattresses available. We actually purchased our mattress through Lake Oswego. A representative at Lake Oswego spent about an hour with us helping is pick a mattress. The sales people are very nice and want to help. We got good advice from Thomas at Cedarhills. They let you try the floor mattresses as many times as you like. Unfortunately no one mentions these beds are generally not returnable. There is a $175 restocking fee if you want to buy up to a more expensive bed when you find the one you've chosen is not comfortable. This is a one-time option. The floor models do not match the ones currently available that are delivered to your house. Parklane was bought by Bedmart and the beds are no longer made by Parklane they're made by a competitor, OMEC. Several customer service staff helped us arrange a return under a defective mattress claim. The mattress had a pronounced hump running down the center and smelled of strong chemicals. The support wire around the edge crushed down within a week, leaving visable wrinkles. When I rotated the mattress I sustained chemical burns on my hands. I was told by two representatives I needed to give my body time to get broken in to fit the mattress. They kept $175 and we have retained our $90 mattress cover which was an additional required purchase to protect the warranty of the mattress. They were able to refund the cost of the actual mattress minus the 175$. This was done because we started to push forward promptly when it was clear the mattress was not what we expected to buy, taking pictures, documenting, calling, emailing, visiting the showrooms in person talking to a representative Etc. Parklane graciously picked up the returned mattress without an additional charge. We learned from our bank you have 30 days to dispute a purchase from the day you buy something. I kept an eye on the clock and made sure to file the dispute within the 30 days. We did finally get our return today which is why I'm posting a new review. We were asked to delete our negative review earlier and I will ask my husband to do so. I hope this review is fact-based and informational. There are many good things about Parklane; the staff was willing to negotiate and return their bed. We were offered a show floor bed since we found them comfortable but because of pet allergies I declined. The showroom beds are very comfortable; they are not representative of the beds delivered. We may be the one in ten who doesn't like the bed, but please, if you need comfort for sleeping, make sure you go someplace where you can get a refund if you find your mattress unsuitable when it's in your room. I researched on Mattress Underground(when I reached out to Mattress Underground for help they said they had terminated their relationship with Parklane a year ago), and several websites before trying Parklane and on the outside they look really good. They may actually sell the bed that's right for you. I noticed all the people we spoke to were long-term employees of the store before it was sold and they all seem to want to do a fair deal with the customer. If you go to the store I hope your experience is more satisfying than ours. All the best to you in your search, and all the best to Parklane as they chart new waters into the future. (We bought a new replacement mattress from a warehouse store sight unseen and it was delivered to our house with free shipping. It is great, and this store offers a one-year return policy.
