I did not feel the pressure of looking at beds with higher price points, an experience I found all too common while browsing at other stores. Heidi listened to my concerns, asked relevant questions and ultimately matched me with the bed I've been looking for all along. She relieved a lot of stress in making such a big decision. Heidi made sure to explain all the information I would need as a customer; return policy, pricing, warranty information, bed requirements, cleaning and maintenance, delivery. Got the mattresses delivered and set up. They c a led a day ahead with 2hr window, delivered and set up the mattress, it was a breeze. Writing this review lying down on the new mattress. Wish they also took care of putting on the mattress protector which they delivered as well, but, it was not a problem. They have 25%off accessories and free bedframe if you yelp checkin. Alki Flowers provide excellent customer service. I bought my mattress on Monday and they deliver it on Friday. Alki took the time to explain the different types of mattress and the value of prices. Very friendly and provide good advices of how to keep the mattress in good condition. I refer my in laws and my mom. I can back with my mom. With everything being online and so much conflicting information on what bed you should get for your sleep style, temperature, snoring, tossing and turning (the list goes on) I am really glad we went in and spoke to an expert. Jeannine was a great help in finding out what part I needed to attached to my headboard with the ergo plus base I had. She was very busy with other customers, but adroitly balanced finding out what I needed and making sure her other customers concerned were met and questions answered. Make sure you read the fine print on their policies and don't just trust what the people who work there tell you. Before purchasing my mattress, which I wasn't sure my wife would like, I specifically asked about the return policy and was told I could return the mattress anytime during the first 4 months. What I wasn't told was that I couldn't return the mattress to the store, and that I'd need to drive 45 minutes away to a warehouse to return it. On top of that, I also was NOT told that there is a $149 fee to return a mattress (recently reduced to $79). Pretty disappointing. If that's the policy, tell someone that from the very beginning, especially if they ask you what the return policy is. It felt deceptive. I will never buy something from this store again. read more

Fantastic Customer Service... we prefer to check things out, do our own research, check reviews, comparisons, etc. We did not purchase "on the spot" but we did give our email and phone # for JAY to call and check in with us on our decision within the following 2 weeks. Jay never called us - only emailed us with info. We called JAY directly 3 times for mroe info and never once ever felt pressured. We went back 2 weeks as promised, called JAY first before going in... and suprisingly he "just wanted to make sure" we chose the right bed for us, so had me go through a quick check/test of the bed we chose 2 weeks before. Obviously concerned with the long term of our choice making not just the "on the spot sale". this is our 3rd time buying from Sleep County and we will do it again and hope that JAY is still there to provide fantastic customer service... Worst delivery experience ever! The first time the guys showed up with the bed, it was missing legs for the base and a brave bar. They talked to my salesperson, store manager Kevin, who seemed to leave them with the impression that another team was coming with the missing parts so the left the base upside down and the mattress in the hall. A new team did not come and I only got updates when I called even though Kevin repeatedly promised to get back to me. The only person who helped was Jake, who answered when I called after Kevin had left without updating me. He agreed to credit me the delivery fee when I asked but no one ever offered anything. I had to set up the bed myself while I waited a week until I could be home for delivery again. This time they showed up with the brace bar but again no legs. Again promised an update but didn't get one. Asked Kevin for some other compensation for having to wait through THREE delivery "windows" which he said he would see what he could do. Never heard from him again even though he had said he would confirm that the right part was coming. He never checked to make sure it was finally done or to tell me how Sleep Train was going to "make it right with me" as promised. read more

I am way impressed by the service my dad and I received here. My dad went in here to check out the Ashton by Sealy. The gentleman who helped us out was the store manager, I forgot his name. Right away he knew it was sold by Costco. He then told us he could sell us a better quality bed at the same price. He shows my dad a few beds and my dad fell in love with Beautyrest mattress. I must say I haven't experienced a more genuine person than the manager who helped us. He was straight to the point, didn't have an annoying sales pitch most sales people have and it really did seem like he didn't care about making a sale but what was more important to the sale, was that my dad got what he really wanted. This is service you just don't see anymore now a days. I'm actually glad Costco sells mattresses, since you can't test them out at Costco, people like us come to places like this to test it out, and hopefully with an amazing sales person like ours they can make a sale at their store instead of Costco. read more
