Update May 5, 2015: The owner called me after reading my review, and offered to take back the mattress pad and refund my money. They have had great success with that pad for many years. Word to the wise: this pad may not work for menopausal women whose bodies tend to get hot, like mine. The owner and I talked about what my options are for having a comfortable sleep. He offered to swap my pad with a 100% cotton pad, but he didn't think it would be any better than the cotton/wool pad I have, for alleviating getting hot. In the end, I decided to keep the wool/cotton pad. I don't know that there is a solution for me to prevent overheated sleep. I commend the owner for promptly calling me and wanting to find a mutually agreeable solution. In the future, I will work with the owners, when I revisit a new topper. I first went to Bedrooms & More to see if they had a topper soft enough for my princess-and-pea body. Everyone I have met at the store is very nice, and helpful. Plus they have their own free parking lot, which is very nice. I worked with Donnie. We whittled it down to a couple of toppers, that I would come back another day and lie on for an extended period. Donnie also mentioned that their cotton+wool mattress pad eliminated sleeping hot. I often wake up sweating, and have tried numerous combinations of toppers, pads and comforters. Donnie promised that their pad would not make me hot. WRONG! I spent $200 for nothing. I should have kept the pad that my mother bought me from Bed Bath & Beyond. Free vs. $200. Donnie had no comment when I told him the pad did not prevent my getting too hot. I even switched to a very thin comforter. I still get hot. When I go back to try the toppers again, I will not work with Donnie. I do not trust his opinion. read more

I live on a remote island in Alaska where I can not go in and "try out" beds, linens, etc. Donnie Little and I established a great relationship over the phone and he spelled out the differences of all mattresses, described the softness, and even answered all my questions about "off gassing" mattresses and my concern since we are trying for a second child. He hit the nail right on the head with the price, style, firmness of the bed! He even threw in a metal frame and set me up with sheets that are heavenly! I am (or was) a big believer in "the higher the thread count the better the sheet" but there again Donnie explained to me the manufacturer's tricks to making that so. I ended up with a lesser thread count then what I originally asked for, at a much cheaper price, and was shockingly surprised how soft they were compared to my higher thread count sheets. I will always shop here for all my bedding needs. Its great dealing with a family oriented business and there is a reason they get such great reviews and have been around for awhile! We walked into Bedrooms & More because we wanted to peruse organic and natural mattresses as well as traditional mattresses. We were adopted by Linda, who led us around the store and suggested different mattress models. We tried them out by thrashing around and tossing and turning, while Linda patiently waited. She did a great job of answering our questions and being attentive without being too sales-y, and was happy to recommend things that were worth spending the money on. We walked out happy, with a brand new locally made mattress with , wool bed topper and waterproof wool mattress pad, and even negotiated with the friendly staff. So we have a convertible crib that Toys-R-us/Babies-R-Us could not help us convert it to a full size bed, but when we called Bedrooms and More they know what it needed and had it a price that could not be beat... More kudos for this wonderful mattress store. I wrote a previous 5 star review. This is an update. Unfortunately for me, I put their wonderful mattress and pads on a new bed frame with storage drawers,(that I got from a different store). It came out to 36 1/2" total height (kitchen cabinets are 35" high). I put a step on each side. In the middle of the night I launched myself out of bed, missed the step, and hit the hardwood floor, breaking my hip in three places. While I was in the nursing home recuperating, I contacted them and found out that they could get furniture from the same manufacturer (A America) as the storage bed frame. They gave me a fantastic price on the same bed without the storage drawers, and then they supervised the delivery and set up of the new bed so I would not have to worry about it. They made sure that the bed had enough slats to hold the mattress I had purchased from them, and arranged to have the old bed taken down to the garage, so it could be placed on Craig's list. By the time I got home, the new (low) bed was in place waiting to go. This was such a load off of my mind! These folks give you the personal touch and I am so happy that I dealt with them again. read more

Love this place. Bought one of their latex mattresses last week and I have never slept better. Our salesman, Burdic, was amazing. Never pushy, encouraged us to shop around, and literally spent hours with us testing every mattress in the store. These guys stood out among all of the other local manufacturers. My husband and I have been fighting about our bed, is it too soft or too hard, well that depends on who you ask. The thought of looking for a replacement was daunting. We purchased the top of the line latex mattress to replace our water bed, which my s.o. had had for over 20 years! With much anticipation, 4 weeks later, it was delivered. Unfortunately, the mattress that was delivered was not the same as what was in the store. Upon investigation, the factory had manufactured and sent the wrong mattress. Gary, Thane, Jeff and the rest of the staff there were very supportive and helpful getting the factory to exchange our mattress. Once the new mattress came, my s.o. and I thought the mattress was stiff too firm. Long story short, Gary and Jeff went above the call of duty and were relentless in making sure we ended up with a mattress/topper combination which ultimately gave us the best night sleep! (and without any increase of cost to us!) I had returned to this store after I had purchased my first bed (floatation bed) from them 11 years ago, after moving to Seattle. I do love that bed as well! At first glace, the mattresses and such appear to be a little pricey, but you have to pay for quality products. read more

I originally purchased two latex mattresses, king and queen, and a beautiful American Woodcraft chest. Recently, my queen bed needed a refresh. I worked with Matt, Jeff, Blake, Thane, Drew and Linda (yes, I am a pain in the neck) to figure out a solution. They were great! They helped me find a solution that has extended the life of my mattress and my husband and I are sleeping in great comfort. My recent visits reminded me of why I like this store. We (my wife and I) had the most pleasant shopping experience here. Great service (Christopher was terrific) no pressure, plenty of time, and I learned a lot about mattresses. The mattress biz is bizarre, one might call it a racket, and finding the right dealer is crucial. I don't part with coin easily, usually deliberate and shop and research, like that. This was about the easiest large purchase I've ever made. I have full confidence in the quality and value of the mattress, and am absolutely satisfied that we bought it from a reputable dealer that knows and stands behind their product. My wife and I needed a mattress with motion control qualities but didn't like the feel of the various types of memory foam on display most places. Cannot speak highly enough about Bedrooms and More. From a customer service perspective, they are just about as good as it gets. We had a couple of minor issues early on with our mattress that were handled immediately but it has been in the last month - a year after our purchase - that they have just gone above and beyond the norm. We had been worried that the mattress just wasn't quite right for us (being a little too firm) but what could Bedrooms and More do now, twelve months on? It turns out that they were willing to do just about whatever it took to get us the mattress we truly needed to get a good night's sleep. Now we have a new mattress (at no additional cost to us!) and are finally sleeping perfectly. Not only did my husband and I end up purchasing the most comfortable mattress we've ever slept on (the Woodlawn Firm latex mattress), the experience with the staff at Bedrooms & More exceeded all our expectations. The staff took the time to walk us through the showroom and educate us on all the products and we never felt pressured to buy. They truly believe in their products and ultimately want to help the customer find what's best for them. When it came time for delivery, the team showed up right on time, but noticed there was a small tear in the mattress. Instead of dropping it off, they drove all the way back to the store and brought us a brand new mattress. Talk about excellent customer service from beginning to end. Rich asked me a few questions in order to direct me to the most suitable options. He was helpful and patiently answered my list of questions. My partner and I bought a beautiful organic latex topper here that we were so excited to have, because of it's organic cover, anti-microbial nature, great craftsmanship and purported longevity. After six months, we started to notice wells, side by side, where we had laid, and could feel a little hill in the middle. I could explain here the process and conversations we went through with the store, but the bottom line is that we sensed a reluctance on the store's part to accept what we were reporting. Considering the large sum of money we paid for this piece and the time we had used it, we would have loved for the staff we spoke with to have been more sympathetic and more eager to help and to make the situation right for us. They clearly have a lot of experience at what they do. Their family business is commendable and they appear to have a range of high-quality products, which is why we chose to shop there. read more

I went in thinking I would be buying a bed. I had bought a new bed from a different store and was miserable. Instead of being pushed into buying something from this store, the sales person gave me some advice and possibly a topper would make my new bed more comfortable. Didn't even try to make me purchase one right then and there. It's not often you can go shopping not spend a dime and get some useful info. I just regret I didn't know about this store before I bought my other bed, from another store, where they know nothing about what they sell. I would of ended up with the perfect bed from here and not had to get a mattress topper...If you want to learn about what you really want, not be pushed or over sold, go visit this store, they have off street parking and once you go into the store it is huge!!! They have a large selection of what ever you are looking for. Be prepared to leave this store with something that will work for you, they want to sell you something your going to keep, not like me from that other store, less than 30 days with a new bed and want to toss it out. read more

Stellar experience here with Christopher as well as the entire staff. My husband and I came in looking for a bed, mattress, and night stand. Christopher was very knowledgeable and took the time to speak in detail about the design and structure of every product I was looking for. I had no idea there was so much I didn't know about mattresses, fabrics, & woods! The best part about this store is there is no up sell. No means no. If I wasn't interested in something Christopher moved right along. Yes this location is pricey but it is a family owned operation which I love to support. I could tell the owners were genuine people who care wholeheartedly about the quality of product you're taking home rather than just making another sale. My husband says our bed makes him feel like he's sleeping at some luxurious hotel. We were additionally impressed by their mass quantity of linens and comforters. They have incredible breathable bamboo sheets and wool and silk comforters. I would highly recommend this store for your bedding needs. Everyone in the store is excellent but if you can find Christopher she'll keep you laughing during the whole process. Her one-liners are epic! read more

Great product and service! I bought a metal bed and a mattress from here in August and have been very happy with both. The mattress is amazing..after 6months I am still amazed very time I go to bed at how comfortable it is. The company is family run and they all know their stuff. The person we spoke to knew what we liked after only a brief description from our end and although my husband and i usually disagree on the type of mattress we like, he found us one perfect for us both. We moved to Seattle recently and did not bring any furniture with us, so they gave us a temporary bed until the one we ordered could be delivered (we customized it so it took 6 weeks to get here). We also asked their opinion on what size of bed would go with our room (we were leaning towards a King) but they suggested a Queen since a King would be too crammed..even though the King costs more. This surprised us since it was a very honest opinion. It was really a lovely experience and would definitely recommend. read more

We were really excited to get a bed frame from these guys. We looked online and saw some great reviews. We liked the styles they offered and the prices for the holidays was awesome. They even offered same day delivery. They seemed to do all they could to get our business and we gave it to them. We bought a bed frame that we were excited about. HOWEVER! After the bed arrived to our house we started to set it up. It was supposed to be pretty easy assembly for the frame. The sides were supposed to slide in. NOT THIS TIME! The side boards were WARPED and were NOT STRAIGHT and so they did not fit. We called to return the damaged product they delivered and they basically said "tough luck! Make it work or buy a new one!" The delivery truck was literally 5 minutes away from delivering and they would not accept they had delivered a faulty product. Nor would they replace the crooked unfittable side boards. We were supposed to have purchased a bed frame but instead we bought some expensive firewood and still need to buy a frame :/ I DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more
