I really cannot say enough positive things about Bedrooms and More. You will love the furniture you buy here, and you will love the people you work with, too. If you know nothing about this company, I'll start with the information that what they sell is, environmentally speaking, the best of the best available in Seattle: organic, metal-free beds that are perfect for chemically sensitive people, furniture that has low- or no-VOC finishes on it, bamboo furniture made with an eye toward sustainability.  And if that is not enough, the furniture they sell is also EXTREMELY beautiful, EXCEEDINGLY beautiful.  We recently moved into a new home and have relied more heavily upon Bedrooms and More to help us furnish it than any other company.  We have been nothing but pleased with what we have gotten from these guys.  We love our beds!  We love our bedding! We love our new dining room set!  We love our coffee table!  We love our console table!  We can't wait to see our bedroom set, which arrives in two months! The people who work at Bedrooms and More are wonderful, too.  Before we ordered our dining room set, I called with questions about five or six times, each time encountering someone new, and everyone, without exception, was patient and kind.  No one was ever annoyed that I had called again with yet another question, and I felt very sure that I was not making any mistakes by the time I finally placed my order.  Bedrooms and More staff helped me pick the right kind of wood, the right color upholstery, the right style of chair, the right size and style of table to go with it -- literally everything about that set --  and today, when the dining room set was delivered and assembled, everyone in the room, both my family and the delivery/assembly guys, could see that the set was perfect in all ways for the space in terms of style, colors, and size.  To say that our family is happy with it would be an understatement.  It's absolutely GORGEOUS!  The deliverymen from Bedrooms and More were great, too -- friendly, polite, hardworking and prepared.  When they discovered, for example, that the dining room table box did not contain the hardware necessary for assembly, they told me not to worry, ran back to their truck and got extra screws and washers they kept there for just such situations.  I was very impressed.  I do not often rave about companies, but this one is THE BEST!  If you buy something from Bedrooms and More and do not love it, I will eat my hat.  Really so thrilled that I have this outstanding resource available to me!  Thank you, Bedrooms and More!  Keep up the good work! read more

We purchased a mattress here last summer and are on the hunt for a new mattress already. We researched for months and finally went to Bedrooms & More and ended up purchasing one of their firm double sided mattresses that day. It wasn't one of their top of the line but still a pretty expensive purchase for us. Upon delivery the mattress was so soft/plush (we ordered firm) we were convinced it was an entirely different mattress than the one we tried in store so worked with store to have a replacement delivered. The store was very friendly and happy to help with this. It was much better for a few months but has since worn down and cause back and hip pain. We have rotated and flipped as instructed yet there is a whole quarter of the mattress that feels like a spring or coil just gave out as there is large sunken spot. We end up flipping the bed once a week to try to avoid the sunken spot and sleep awkwardly around it. Would not recommend their flippable mattresses. Feels like a marketing gimmick - we definitely fell for it and feel silly now. Overall their customer service was great in the beginning and their new store is very nice but can't recommend their mattresses after our experience. We were expecting this price of a mattress to last more than a year. read more

The furniture here is not cheap, they sell it at a very high price. Quality is good they they will charge you more than it's actual worth. Me and my husband went in there to look for a bedroom set, they quotes us $5000 for the complete set, and we got the same set, same brand, same material for $3200 from Don willis. I bought a latex mattress from them 11 years ago and today I replaced it with another double sided latex mattress that has no off gassing or odors. This place has two buildings. A living room selection at one location and a few paces down the sidewalk has a huge bedroom location. I was so excited to find this amazing place. The selectIon and price points were perfect for any budget. That being said, nothing was "cheap". Even the bargain prices were quality pieces. All the bedding had options of how to build your final product. Megan provided 5 star excellent customer service, the best I've ever received in Seattle! She made the process quick and painless. Options for delivery: $70 delivery and $30 assembly fee. Not bad for the area. Some products are manufactured in the area and can be delivered next day or same week. read more

We bought an organic latex mattress here a couple of years ago and have never looked back. This mattress has changed my life. It was worth every penny. We also purchased a latex topper and a wool topper. We added cotton Sure Fit sheets and our bed is heaven. Everyone in the store has been so friendly and helpful to us. They are nice and patient with children and didn't roll their eyes at us when we brought all 3 kids in. They even have an adorable hidden play area! I tell everyone who will listen to buy their next mattress here. Unfortunately, too many people are swayed by the marketing ploys of big mattress companies or buy something cheap from a box store. You get what you pay for! Update: it's now several years sleeping on this mattress and it's as good as new. We don't do anything special to take care of it. Best money we ever spent! read more

Having jumped on a plane on 5-days notice to relocate to Seattle for my new job, with no other belongings than my clothes and a stack of textbooks -now mementos of my previous 2 years and a testament to a student's debt- I set out on the mad dash to find a place, and furnish it in 12 days before starting on the job. Bah, piece of cake? Not quite! Finding the perfect (and very empty) pad took 8 days - realizing I wouldn't be able to furnish it in time for move-in took a lot less. No problem, baby steps: find a bed and a dresser. New to the area, I asked Google for 'seattle bedroom furniture' and it told me to go to Bedrooms and More. Finding a parking spot for my rental was easy enough, and as I walked back to the store I noticed they have covered customer parking right behind the store in their garage on Latona Ave. Addison greeted me and showed me around the store and the different bedroom furniture sets they had on the floor. I quickly found one I liked, but not wanting to fall victim to the winner's curse, decided to "shop around" a bit more and come back later. What followed was the revelation of how other furniture stores expect you to buy furniture: you find something you like, you lay some cash on the table, and wait for months for them to get it for you (Dania review coming soon) - seriously people, carry some inventory will you?! I was back at BR&M the next day. This time, Rachel showed me back to the set I'd seen the day before, a bedframe, 2x nightstands, upright & wide Modus brand dressers. Rachel was both helpful and insightful, not to mention extremely patient as she helped me measure everything to make sure it would fit in my room - a true engineer (geek), I had a scale floor plan with labels on where everything would go. Sensing my trepidation for spending my first relocation package dollars after two long income-less years, Rachel offered me different options such as buying a couple of their floor models which were in perfect shape. Before checking out, Rachel showed me around the store and the extensive mattress collection they have there, letting me try what seemed like all of them and even leaving me alone so that I could lie on them for a while - I can truly say I have never felt more at ease and "at home" as in this store, not once did I feel rushed or pressured. Only because I was looking for more of a tempurpedic kind of feel, I decided to buy my mattress elsewhere. Upon checking out, and much to my dismay, it turned out that all of the delivery slots were filled for the rest of the week - oh well, I'll just sleep on my mattress and live off my suitcase until Monday. Rachel offered to try and find a win-win arrangement and reschedule with one of the customers already in queue for delivery, but I understood this would be unlikely. I got back in my car and had barely made it back into the city when my phone rang, it was Rachel, asking me if delivery on the day after would work well for me - seriously, how awesome are you guys?! I got to spend my first night at my new place on a proper bedroom: a customer for life was born. Delivery was a breeze with the delivery guys calling in advance to their arrival and narrowing down the 4-hr window that they initially quoted. The team of two deftly maneuvered the bedroom set up to my unit and had it in place in no time. After they left, I noticed one of the dresser knobs was missing so I called the store - not more than two days later I received an envelope with a replacement knob and a handwritten note from the owner. A happy customer: It's the little things like this that make the biggest difference. 5 stars as this was by far my best experience settling up on my new home - I only wish they sold living room furniture.. or that I had more bedrooms. read more

I love my sleep. Seriously, there are few things that I would rather do than cozy up in bed and take a nap. So it's of ultimate importance that I have the most kick ass bed out there. And thanks to Bedrooms & More, I can say with certainty that I do. I visited Bedrooms & More one morning about 7 months ago, looking for the perfect mattress. The sales person was super duper helpful and informative, without being overly-pushy. He let me test out lots of different models, and didn't even give me a hard time when I told him I wanted to lay on one mattress for 30 minutes to really get a sense for how it would feel to sleep on it. (Did I mention that I'm serious about my sleep?!) I also told him I wanted to stay under $1000 for a queen-size set, and I appreciated that he completely respected this boundary and didn't try to upsell me by pushing me to choose something I wasn't comfortable with. I bought a mattress and boxspring on the spot, and it was delivered to my house within 24 hours. The nice gentlemen who delivered the set to my house were friendly, courteous, and even helped me to set up the frame for the bed and make sure everything was ok before departing. It has now been 7 months, and I've slept on my new mattress set most nights, and it has not let me down yet. Even my man friend and guests comment how much comfier it is than their beds at home. And yet one more reason to love Bedrooms & More: if you're a KEXP member, they will give you a $300 credit for bedding with any new mattress set purchase, you just need to show your KEXP donor benefits card! YEAH! I will say that Bedrooms & More is not cheap, so if you're looking for bargain basement deals, it's probably not the place for you. But if you're looking for high quality mattresses and helpful salespeople, I can't recommend it enough! read more

What is a good night's sleep worth to you? Or, put another way, how much does a bad night's sleep cost you? I love becoming a more educated consumer, particularly about big purchases that feel a bit mysterious and intimidating. Bedrooms & More's free, 1 1/2 hour Saturday morning mattress class is brilliant. It's not a sales tactic... which makes it the perfect sales tactic. I had already done extensive online research and price comparison and I was already committed to buying a botanical latex mattress from this local, family-owned business, but the class was highly informative and made me a much better shopper. I appreciate the expertise of people who've been in the business a long time and when Jeff Garfield tells me that something is bunk, I believe him. I left, got brunch, came back. Rich worked with me to find the just-right mattress combination in a price range that worked. They source their own botanical latex mattress cores directly from a company in Thailand (Lien'a) and work with locally owned mattress companies to make the mattress combinations. No, you've never heard of these companies, but that doesn't matter AND you're supporting jobs in the Pacific Northwest. I ended up going with a latex core (75 kg/m3)-- good for a side sleeper-- with a wool topper. I also highly recommend buying pillows at the same time-- mattresses & pillows together are your "sleep system". Total came to under $2,500. No box spring required (hello, easier moving!). Not cheap, but in this case, I know without a doubt that I'm getting excellent value for my investment, PLUS I'm supporting a family-owned business. And when you consider that this mattress is going to last EASILY ten years, I just spent $0.65 a night for excellent sleep. Worth every penny. read more

I had no idea that they specialized in all-natural, organic, locally-made etc etc ... I just needed to not sleep on the floor. Salesperson Addison gave us lots of good info. He's clearly a savant for mattresses. Even though we were the only ones in the store, we didn't feel preyed on. That was nice. Also, the prices were extremely reasonable. $600 for a nice, flippable Queen (hay ho), $550 for a solid wood bed, etc. Also, unlike a lot of furniture stores in the area, B&M's website functions pretty well and has a partial catalog. My only complaint is that delivery to Fremont wasn't free. I don't know where it ships from, but since the store is in Wallingford they should offer free delivery in the immediate area. (In my opinion.) Otherwise what's stopping me from going to like, Bothell? Other than laziness. read more

It's been a few years since I purchased my mattress from Bedrooms & More, so I've literally had time to sleep on my decision. After much deliberation and test driving many mattresses, aided by the very helpful Aynn, my husband and I settled on flippable natural latex. We bought the like-new floor model, which was marked down 15%; it was delivered as promised in a timely manner. Prior to buying our bed, I did my homework and read much about the merits of natural latex. Still, I hesitated about purchasing latex for two reasons: 1) I am a woman of a certain age, which means spiking temperatures at random moments (I was concerned about latex holding heat) and 2) I have atopic dermatitis and am allergic to latex gloves, so I was worried about skin reactions. Despite tribulations, we went with the latex. Aynn warned us that it might take awhile for our bodies to adjust to latex (our previous bed was standard foam-filled from Macy's). She was right, the first two weeks were challenging. It was high summer and nights were hot ... I spent a few fitful nights tossing, turning and burning. But then, magically, I eased into a good night's sleep. Now, I'm so happy with our mattress and will never look back. Our natural latex mattress is the most comfortable, supportive bed I have ever experienced. And although it shed a bit initially (I could tell from dust under the bed), it lessens as time passes. Also, we love that it's flippable, a rarity in the mattress market, as it hasn't developed any indents from our bodies. I stopped in to Bedrooms & More a few weeks ago to thank them for my amazing mattress. They remembered me and were so happy for the visit. I'm grateful for the personal service and great value they provide with their high-quality products. When my husband and I were offered our choice of a brand-new bed as a wedding gift, we jumped at the opportunity. Our sleepytimes throughout the course of our relationship had been spent on an old style wooden futon which was comfortable enough... for a while. But its Goodwill-purchased hard mattress was failing to give us a good night's sleep anymore. I'd heard about Bedrooms and More and its quality products through an NPR ad, not to mention that the store is in our neighborhood and we both passed it often. And I'd heard enough about its stock of flame-retardant-free (and in many cases organic) mattresses to make this store our first pick for bed shopping. We didn't think to make an appointment; we just walked the few blocks downhill from home after work one evening to give some beds a try. We were greeted by Christopher, a super friendly and knowledgeable person who informed us immediately of the shop's stance on buying from local and/or organic manufacturers. Learning from our awesome salesperson about how the common beds of today are constructed made us feel even more reassured that we'd chosen to shop here. All the "trusted" brands in "American" mattresses have changed their designs and construction since the early 2000's to have only one usable side, and are full of toxic flame retardants. Yuk! And this shop has many of its mattresses made in the good old PNW according to older and better industry standards. As an eco-friendly punk couple, we already make it a goal to minimize the purchase of wasteful items. At this shop, my idea that box springs are an unnecessary waste of materials was confirmed. Did you know the box doesn't even contain springs?! Now ya do. :) A platform bed with sturdy slats is support enough! We spent probably two hours in the store, carting the comfy provided pillows from bed to bed and feeling the bliss that comes from lying down on a superior surface to the one we were accustomed to. When we walked home from the store, we felt as relaxed as we would have after a long nap--even after a hard day of work. Our pocketed-coil, locally made mattress and platform bed frame arrived in a timely fashion and were easy to assemble. New bed delivery, a new mattress cover, and removal of our gross old mattress were all free! We'll be so bright-eyed and bushy-tailed at work every morning now, people won't know what hit us! :) Go buy your bed at Bedrooms and More -- don't bother with the big business. read more

They know their stuff here. You walk in and within moments, are greeted by one of the friendly employees. Mine was a sales woman who knew her stuff backward and forward. She did get a little lecturey when it came to natural latex mattresses but her point was well-intentioned if not hammered home. To be clear though, at NO point was she pushy or intrusive. She just kept extolling the virtues of natural latex over the cheaper man-made varieties... There's a parking garage located south of their building, attached to the store itself. I came, I looked, they were helpful, I bought a mattress. Plus, they have a 90 return policy if you don't like you mattress. UPDATE: So the mattress I got wasn't great, it was too hard. They let me bring it back and exchange it for something that worked. I thought maybe they would be rude about it or something like that but they weren't, they said they just wanted to make it right and me to have a mattress I enjoyed. Very nice family-run and owned store for all of your bedding needs. I walked in looking for a new futon, and when I let the guy at the front desk know, I was greeted by my own "personal consultant", if you will, named Donnie. (From the look of the rest of the store, it seems like everyone gets this preferential treatment, which is a big plus.) Anyhow, after letting him know what I was looking for, he took me to the right area, gave me a basic rundown of frames and mattresses, and then left me to my own devices, checking in every 10 minutes or so to see if I had any questions and answering them very knowledgeably as they came up. I wound up purchasing a futon that matched what I was looking for, and while much more expensive than I was expecting (never bought furniture before so I was clueless to begin with), the prices are good by comparison to other places (even online). They also have delivery and installation options should you choose to go with one of those options. read more

Donnie is a real straight-shooter, and has a witty sense of humor I can appreciate. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. No pressure whatsoever, and showed me all my options. Notwithstanding the following, I intend to take my business there again in the future. However, I'm withholding one star because of the return policy related to bedding. I went in with a unique need for a high quality pillow due to a medical condition, and with pillows a person often will not know how good or bad a pillow is until we sleep on it a couple of times. The problem is that the store takes NO returns on ANY bedding materials, which is a majority of their business. So, spending $70 on a pillow is a roll of the dice that can leave one high and dry if their purchase doesn't work out. They have you sign multiple forms acknowledging the substandard policy. A policy like this might lead me to go to Macys or another big box store where there is some kind of a return policy for items if I have any doubt as to whether or not they are going to work out for me. read more

Ryan was my main contact sales person and was very patient with questions and never pressured me. Encouraged me to take my time when I tried various mattresses out in the store. Megan was the same (encountered briefly). On day of, delivery guys were courteous, efficient and did a good job. Followed up RE invoicing and remaining questions by phone with Luis and Rich. I had a great experience buying a new mattress a months ago from Bedrooms & More. It is family owned and run and the process could not have been less stressful for me! I was worried about pushy salesmen, hidden fees or crappy merchandise but my fears were completely unfounded. The salesman really listened to what I said from the moment I walked in the store and laid out all the options without being pushy or a know-it-all. They kept what I said about what I wanted and how much I could pay in mind and were honest about what the differences in materials and prices really meant. They asked helpful questions about my sleep habits and the back problems I have and stuck with me throughout the process. Another saleslady even happily answered my friend's questions about crib mattresses while I was being taken through the warranty. We went here a few months ago to shop for a new bed. The salesman was truly excellent. Informative without being overbearing. We picked out a King sized mattress but once it was delivered it turned out that it wouldn't fit up our narrow town-house stairs. They not only took back the mattress but gave us a great deal on a latex matress that rolls up, so there wouldn't be a problem getting it up the hallway. The employee even personally delivered it the same night after the store closed. Since then, we went back and got a bunk bed for our daughter. The quality and service was just as great as the first time. The prices aren't the cheapest you'll find but I think the quality and service more than makes up for it. read more

Lets start off by saying, I was really nervous going in here. I was nervous about the price, talking with someone I dont know who may try and sell me a crappy bed. There are a lot of great reviews for Bedrooms and More, but sometimes its what's not said that can be the issue. Sometimes sales people just have off days. Or sometimes customers are paid to say nice things. Totally not the case with this place. IT WAS SUCH A GREAT EXPERIENCE! Burdic was the associate that helped me. Totally cool guy, a little wonky and quirky in personality, but it was genuine and didn't feel forced. That's what I really like about this store. Burdic asked me a variety of questions about how I slept, what kind of mattress I liked, if I wanted a pillow to use when trying out the beds. I'm not going to lie that it felt weird, at least for me, to lay on a bed and have someone look at you hahaha. But Burdick was totally helpful in telling me about what the beds are made of, what the sheets are made of, how they are sourced, bio-impact, etc. And what I loved more, was if he didn't know, he'd asked. I'm not expecting a sales associate to know everything. They really know how to work together as a team and Burdic didn't make it feel like I had to buy a bed, he laid out my options, made it enticing and let me decide. Thank you so much for the bed! Glad I was raised to choose quality over price. I had considered buying a futon mattress and frame from Sleep Country but Jena E.'s Yelp review for Bedrooms and More made me change my mind. My wonderful experience with this store began earlier this summer when I spoke with Shawn over the phone. He was knowledgeable and friendly. Later that day, I went into the store thinking, "Ok, I know exactly what I want. Just try a futon within my budget, purchase it and leave." (I am a new grad school student who just moved to Seattle without my own bed.) However, I stayed longer than planned as I tried out different futons and frames and enjoyed chatting with Addison since Shawn had a customer. Addison was friendly as well. He made honest recommendations, and I never felt pressured to buy a particular bed. So, I got a chocolate wood frame with storage space and a mattress that were waaay over my budget. But who cares? I have a bad back and can't sleep on just anything. Now I sleep without tossing and turning or waking up with back pain. And it's nice to know that the mattress contains natural latex. When we needed a new mattress, the first place I thought of was Bedrooms and More. I like supporting local businesses and we wanted a completely natural mattress without chemicals. We had a very positive experience shopping for a mattress at this business. Their sales people are very nice and knowledgeable. They have many natural mattresses to chose from and we tried most of them. We ended up getting a 100% latex mattress with wool. Two sales people showed us how to flip the mattress and it looked easy. Once the mattress was delivered, we followed their suggestion to alternate flipping it and rotating it every three months. We've now attempted to do both after six months. It is like trying to move a 50 pound wet noodle. It is very hard!! There are no handles on the mattress. My husband and I are both strong but this thing is ridiculously hard to move. It also was compressing where we sleep. But, here's the beautiful thing, the owner and his son came to our house to look at the mattress and our bed to see what was going on! Who does that?! They pointed out that the platform bed and a head raising wedge under the mattress was causing the mattress to compress. They came up with a solution - a bunky board - that I'm excited may work. They also showed us how to move it more easily. I've never experienced such amazing customer service and will always give my business to Bedrooms and More when I need anything bed related. read more

I purchased a futon mattress there a few weeks ago which is kind of like a hybrid between a regular mattress and a futon pad - has the filling and is a bit floppy, but it also has springs in it and a pillowed top. The saleswoman helped me promptly and upon hearing that I was on a budget, immediately pointed out the mattress I ended up getting, which was on clearance because of some minor defects. I've been completely happy with my purchase. The store is clean and well-organized, the staff are helpful and kind, and they actually have parking, which is imperative. I love that it's a family-owned store, and the nice woman who assisted me said she'd been working there for 20 years. My only problems at this shop were that some of the items there were not marked with a price, and I hate mystery. Also, some of the items seemed to be on the expensive side for what they were (lamps and things). I don't see a whole lot of the "More" part about Bedrooms & More, but if you're in the market for a new bed or bedroom furniture this place is a great place to start. We give this store and family 5 out of 5. My husband and I went into Bedrooms and More after researching Latex and Wool toppers. We expected the typical sales pitch as would most,... but instead we got one of the best customer service experiences. Blake was the person who helped us while we were there and have to say,....he is one of the nicest and most patient salesperson we've met. My husband and I had a lot of questions; some silly but he answered each and every one very honestly. He didn't try to steer us to buy the most expensive products but was very honest by sharing his own experiences with each product he sold since it was his family business and they were very conscientious about what they provided to their customers. You rarely find that in the world today. Most now-a-days, you find businesses wanting to sell what the current fad may be and give you only the information provided by the manufacturer instead of their own personal experience. By the time we were done with buying our bedding products, we ended up talking with most of the family for maybe a good hour. We sat with Jeff, Wanda, Blake, and Drew. It was like talking to family friends and felt blessed to have met such truly good people. We recommend everyone and anyone to go in and support this business. Bedrooms and More offers a bar none customer service, you never feel like you're being sold something you don't want, their prices are moderate/fair for the products they provide (high quality), and reminds you how nice it would be if everyone ran their business the way they do. We went here based on all of the great yelp reviews. Man, they were right. Bedrooms and more was the first stop on our 10 furniture store tour Saturday, and Blake was helpful, educational, and just down right honest. It was clear they were the right shop to work with. We ended up getting an amazing bed, and a really great frame for our bed too. Even when our bed was delivered, and it didn't end up fitting up our townhouse stairwell, Blake went out of his way, let us pick a different bed, and personally delivered it after work. You would be insane to not at least give this place a try. Not only are you giving your money to a true family business that puts their customers over profits, you learn more about how to maintain and use your bed so it will last a really long time. Had the opportunity to buy the perfect mattress from Bedrooms and More a few months ago. I waited till now to post my experience and also about the mattress. Found them on line via Google. Made one phone call and spoke with Ms.Jackie and told her exactly what I was seeking. She was very helpful and we set a time for the following day. I arrived with my own sheet and pillow and tried the bed she described on the phone. It is the Omi Oganicpedic Terra Mattress. Tried one other by the same line and decided to go with the Omi...so glad I did. Have allergies to everything on this planet and this mattress is entirely organic. They had one in their local warehouse and promised to deliver it a few days later. Two gentleman arrived on time with my Omi and life has been simply blissful ever since. This mattress is everything and more one would expect in a rather high end investment piece for the best night's rest and toxin free. There was a slight off gassing from the natural latex which dissipated after a few weeks. Also, my bed has a slat frame and after a few nights I ordered the Omi board and that made it completely perfect. While I was in the store, all the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, unpretentious and wonderful. Would recommend Bedrooms and More to anyone that is about to purchase a mattress, accessories or anything else for your optimum health...what is life, without a good nights rest?! Fantastic experience! I'd done a lot of research on mattresses and visited several of the big chain stores last year, then finances changed so we had to delay our mattress purchase. Now, when we were ready to finally replace our sad old mattress, a friend suggested we take the free informational class every Saturday at 9:30am. I am SO GLAD that we did. Geoff, the owner, was a delight. He's been in this business for 40 years, has tons of great stories, and lots of useful information to impart. He was also very professional about letting us know when he was wearing his "sales hat," as opposed to when he was just sharing information. A lot of the information I'd discovered myself during my previous research, but it was nice to have it confirmed that buying a one-sided mattress is a sucker's bet! It halves the life of your mattress, but is NOT reflected in any savings for you, the customer. He's a sweet older man who is proud of his business, full of stories, loves that his kids work with him, and he's got lovely Elf-in ears. I also appreciated his encouragement to spend enough time (about 15 to 20 minutes) lying down on your final two or three mattress choices. Your body really needs that time to be sure. While it felt a little strange at first, just lying there as other people and sales folk walked past, I really appreciated their encouragement of this behavior. It allowed me to feel MUCH more confident in my decision...that's what you want when making a large purchase. Especially because all of their mattresses are TWO-SIDED, I can expect to get between 15 to 25 years out of this (like in the "good old days"). The shopping experience here is lovely. Sales staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and low-pressure. Jackie's been working at the store forever, she said, and you can tell she knows her stuff. The layout of the store is interesting...there are lots of different rooms and staircases to get to all the options. But it makes it kind of a fun adventure. *laughs* While they have some nice mattresses starting around $500, I was happy to pay around $1,500 for an organic, botanical latex flippable mattress that will last for decades. I could definitely see the value in that. Also, honestly, it was WAY CHEAPER than the mattresses the aggressive sales folk at Sleep Country kept recommending last year. While Sleep Country had some $700 mattresses they pretty much kept telling me that I had to buy the $2,700 or more expensive ones because my boyfriend is a bigger guy, and that would be the only way for the mattress to last more than a few years. (WTF?!?) But the Bedrooms & More team explained how they only stock well constructed mattresses (rather than fancy sounding names of foam that breaks down quickly), and that we could've even gotten a $1,000 coil spring double-sided nice mattress to last for 15 years (rather than 5 years from the way more expensive Sleep Country mattress). I also really appreciated how family friendly the store is. There were several couples with children running around, being kids. One salesman even encourage these two young boys to bounce on the mattress to test it out. So cute! Scheduling the free delivery was very easy, and Sean with the delivery team was great. Super proficient. They had the new bed assembled and mattress delivered, and hauled away the old mattress. Quick and easy. read more

The customer service here can't be beat. My boyfriend and I moved to a new place back in January and set out to buy a new mattress. Based on Yelp reviews I headed straight to Bedrooms & More. The saleswoman Linda was awesome. I told her my price range and preferences and she took me from bed to bed. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and not at all pushy. She spent almost 30 minutes with me even though I said upfront that I wouldn't be purchasing a mattress today. I week or so later I brought my boyfriend back and we decided on a bed. We still weren't purchasing at this point, just figuring out what we wanted. They did help us pick out new pillows though. The third time we came in, Linda helped us out again and we bought the mattress and a mattress cover (which was well worth the money). The mattress cover is waterproof and since we have pets a necessity I never would have thought to get myself. Bedrooms and More set up a delivery date for us for the day we moved to our new place. When the delivery drivers arrived, they even put the mattress cover on our king sized monstrosity for us. This place is simply the best! read more

They have a huge supply of local made beds, mattresses, pillows, sheets in all shapes and sizes for all prices including a room of latex. They're picky with their selection because they've been in the business so they a know a few things such as only buying a two sided mattress so you can get all your worth from it. A lot of their beds are commissioned only for them. Both times I went and with both salespeople, they were friendly and chill (not pushy at all), knowledgeable about their beds. I told them I needed a ridiculously long time to try out each bed and they were more than happy to comply, leaving me with a comfy pillow and letting me take as much time as I needed. I was really indecisive and needed a lot of information, and they were patient. They delivered my bed on time. It's not their fault I'm sensitive to flame retardants, esp. boric acid, so when I asked them to pick up the bed same day as I called, they made it work! The only complaint I can give is that when I came back in the store to find another, I talked to a very nice man who understandable didn't completely know all flame retardants and ingredients in the latex. He took some notes and said he'd call the supplier, but he never got back to me. read more

I dreaded going to search for a new mattress. So, I got onto yelp and narrowed down my stops to 3 stores. Bedrooms and More was one of them. Although the name sounds like it's going to be a Linen 'n things type of place, it is not. The staff was great - no too in your face - but attentive and really listened to what we wanted. We visited the two other stores but ended up back at Bedrooms and More to make the purchase. An added bonus - they work with regional mattress manufacturers.
