I paid for the jacket a told them what I was wanted. After no reponse to email and calls I went in to ask about the jacket. They said that they had not started it yet. They told me they would start and get back to me in a few days. The jacket was to be done by Aug 28 and as of Sept 5th they had not done a thing. They just kept saying they will get to. I cancelled the project with them. If they did not want to do the jacket they should of just told me, instead of just stringing me along with lies. Poor choice on my part in choosing them.

The store is filled with beautiful fabrics, lots of sewing, quilting & embroidery machines, a wall of minke, rows of threads and a very cool button area. I came in to see one of the owners, Joe Singer, who showed me how to work my new Little Rebel baby long arm machine, that I bought at the Reno Quilt Show in June 2026. This was a fantastic Five Star customer service experience because he really took time in teaching me about my new machine. I don't feel scared now to go back to Reno, and turn it on and start to try it out. I have never owned a long arm but you have to try new things to learn new things. I did get to stitch out a doggie paw and some cool circles patterns. I also bought the most beautiful cork fabric with gold sparkles...pricey but worth it. Also, I bought minke hot wheels fabric that I will make into a blanket for my little grandson. He loves hot wheels. Also, Cali Quilt Co has just expanded to another area next to their store, and they will be holding classes and quilt retreats very soon..I can't wait! I am a beginning sewer & quilter, and I purchased this really adorable quilt of the month block. It looks like a watering can, but it is a house....what? I also chose a very cool flower button from their button area, to add to my finished design as the door knob of my little watering can house. I am so excited to see if I can complete this block of the month. They have already made 3 of the many cool house blocks for this cute house quilt. Go check it out. Again, thank you to the great staff for cutting my fabric and helping me with my new discount card. I have already earned 5 stars. Yea! I first discovered Arteez two years ago when my work went to standardized colored scrubs. My…read morehospital provides our scrubs but gives us a limited selection of vendors with ill-fitting brands. I opted to buy my own tailor fit scrubs; I just needed to find an embroiderer that has my hospital's logo on file. Arteez did a great job of catering to my needs. They had the dignity health logo on file already (as well as many other businesses--check with them to see if they have what you need). They're also able to create designs if you wish. The owner Johanna did a wonderful job with my scrubs, the embroidery was priced much cheaper than most other embroiderers in the area, and the turnaround was extremely quick. The quality is perfect. It looks no different than the ones issued by my work. In fact, it looks better! I'm extremely surprised that there are no reviews for Arteez, because they look extremely busy inside (despite finishing my job quickly). But I suppose it makes sense. Their average customers are most likely schools and businesses, and not many schools and businesses have a Yelp account where they go around posting reviews of boba and ramen joints. I highly recommend Arteez. I've been coming here for years and I imagine I'll be returning for years to come.

Second they never contacted me with questions even after leaving contact information and a clear note saying if you have any questions contact us. Third, on the instructions the name we wanted embroidered was clearly spelled out CORRECTLY, well the finished product had our name misspelled. I contacted them and got nothing but arguments from someone who appeared to be the off site owner rather than any resolution to the problem. I will not go back and I encourage anyone to think twice before they use them.
