I stopped by this Paris Banh Mi location on a whim yesterday (which was a Sunday) for a late lunch. I was in the area at nearby Center Court Pickleball Glendale for a tournament my kids were playing in. I walked in, looked at the menu, and ordered the chicken banh mi sandwich and an iced green jasmine tea (light sweetness). Counter service was friendly and my tea and sandwich were ready pretty quickly. Both were delicious! We first tried this place in their Aurora location in Colorado. It certainly was good and I remembered the name for future reference. When I saw this name in Arizona, I was excited. We have tried the Chandler location and it was good. The Glendale location is also good. We ordered the B2 and B4. B2 is the shredded pork on a baguette with lots of pickled daikon, carrots, cilantro, jalapeño and a bit of mayonnaise. B4 is a shredded chicken on a croissant with the same ingredients as above except the jalapeño. My croissant totally fell apart which was OK because I had a fork handy. The pork banh mi was good. There was only one employee working there. That was fine for the hour that we visited. I hope they have more employees during their busier hours. Very clean facility and super comfy chairs. Well, I decided to go out on Memorial day. The place I wanted to go to was closed, so I thought I'd try this place out. I walked in and after I perused the menu,I got service right away. No greeting. Nothing. Even after I said hi,I got silence,so I just went ahead with my order. I got the creme brulee milk tea with boba. Boba was too soft. Like no bite to it at all. The drink otherwise was eh. Food: I ordered the #1 special sandwich and it was delicious. Plenty of meats, a little light on the mayo-butter and the pate but I'm not mad at it. The sandwich was a generous size. Definitely a good value. I also ordered some pork pate chaud. These were especially good because the meat filling was a good size and covered most of the inside, unlike other places that skimp out on the meat filling. The flaky puff pastry was delicious too - not too oily. Service: 5 stars - It was not busy at all so I was able to walk up to the counter and place my order. The sandwich came out no longer than 5 minutes later even though there was one other person waiting for their order too. Ambiance: 5 stars - The place is very bright and clean looking. It's a very modern look with a "photo wall" if you will in the corner of their store with neon signage to take cool photos for your social media posts. The interior of this place is decorated so nicely. The seats are so comfortable. They even have a bakery section but unfortunately it was mostly sold out when I visited. I ordered the B1 special combination Banh Mi and it did not disappoint !! The pate inside was so additive. For the price, this sandwich is so worth it. The service was also very quick. I also ordered a fruit tea to complete the meal. It was very refreshing and even had real fruit in it (strawberry, kiwi, orange, and lime). The total for this was ~19$. You can take hot sauce and hoisin sauce to go. I would definitely come back to try their desserts and bakery items. I found Paris randomly and thought id go to see if I found my new boba spot. I walked inside of it was very fun! it was very modern and clean. The service was okay. For my order I chose to get boba, a pastry, and a scoop of "gelato". It was all terrible. The pastry seemed like it was out for days. The gelato basically needed an ice pick and hammer to get some shavings. The boba was the bad chewy and both the drink and boba lacked in the flavor deptartment. Maybe their food is better? Yummy Banh mi place! The interior is very classy and clean which I love especially for a Banhmi place! I also love that they have many different kinds of pastries and other food items. There are so many to choose from. And I can't forget about the boba and coffee as well! In a small strip mall, this very clean, quiet, very tasty restaurant should be getting more patrons than I've seen. After only noticing this place in the last month I've been here twice since. First time the Steak Pho was delicious and yesterday I really enjoy the Grilled Pork Bahn Mi and both times I had the Passion Fruit tea. The tea may become a new drink of choice. Refreshing and not to sweet . The store i layout is a little confusing but staff answered questions. A smile could help a bit. I saw they had pastries that looked appetizing as well as gelato. What a beautiful little place! BFF and I visited for the first time the other day and for the most part, we did enjoy our experience. I ended up getting the pho special (Pho Dac Biet) and a Creme Brulee milk tea. BFF ordered a potato half and half Korean corn dog and the shredded chicken croissant. We all enjoyed our meals very much and I love the expansive menu that they have. They also have a small bakery with cold desserts and baked goods for sale. I feel that the cold desserts were way overpriced. I can buy a whole cheesecake for a couple dollars more at one of the 10 grocery stores in a 4 mile radius than what they sell for a single, baby slice. The baked goods I also felt was on the pricier side but not outrageous like the cold desserts. The baked goods looks like they sell out fast as we were scavenging over all the picked through leftovers. We did manage to find some we liked to purchase. This place has the potential to be 5 stars but here are my reasons for the 4 stars: - Cashier was playing on her cell phone while I waited at the counter to order. I'm pretty lenient when it comes to cell phone usage during down time but when you have a customer in front of you, you need to give them 100% of your attention. She was completely unaware of her surroundings and left me waiting for a couple of minutes until I spoke up. - Cashier asked if I was going to eat in and I said yes after placing my order for the pho. I was caught off guard when it arrived in a plastic take-out bowl and lid. This was so wasteful and with as much money as they spent on the beautiful furniture and decor, they could invest in getting real bowls and silverware to cut down on trash from the single use plastics. Having real dinnerware and silverware to use just adds elegance to the overall experience too. If there happened to be leftovers or ordering to-go then of course offer the plastic take-out containers at that time. Despite this, I will definitely be visiting more often to try out different items. read more

I first started coming he the week they opened and wrote an unfavorable review about the baguettes being undercooked, tried three more times and noting changed. Last week in the area tried them again, baguette marginally better but NO Jalapeño on my sandwich, went back today ordered #7, CUT & EXTRA JALAPENO ON THE SIDE. SANDWICH NOT CUT, ALL VEGGIES IN A BAG. I was the only person in the store, the counter help had TV News blasting, Christmas Carols playing and she was watching soap opera on a laptop by the register. I was nearby for an appt so decided to stop by here to try out their banh mi. The dining room was clean with modern decor. Plenty of items to choose from so I went with the shredded chicken banh mi and coconut milk tea. The sandwich was good, plenty of meat. Had to write a review about this place. I've known about them for a while, their drinks and desserts are so delicious. Their sandwiches and soups are delightful as well, me personally I usually order the B1. The staff is very patient and provides good service. This place used to be good. I don't know what happened to this place the food was cold and the service sucked. The cashier was taking our order as we waited to pay she was just on her phone. Wanted to like it but didn't. Lady at the register was not friendly, it was our first time and no one else was in line to order so we were studying the menu and asking a few questions but she seemed annoyed that we couldn't make a snap decision. We got 2 sandwiches, which came in a to-go box and bag. However we were dining in, which she didn't ask. Do they have plates? We asked for a fork it was a flimsy plastic. I did not enjoy eating our dinner out of a to-go bag. My sandwich bbq pork baguette was not bad, lotta bread. His croissant sandwich was tasty he said but nothing special. No sides no extra touch. While eating, we noticed it was very hot and stuffy. It was a beautiful cool evening outside and we really wanted some air. No fans, no AC, it was stuffy. The music machine was playing music then had obnoxious radio commercials which is not conducive to a nice relaxing dining experience after work, even if it's just a sandwich. Came here for dessert and milk teas. My daughter ordered the mint chocolate gelato which was very tasty. My wife ordered the milk tea with cheese foam and I ordered a regular milk tea. I loved that the milk tea wasn't super sweet and not too much ice. Also had some interesting Vietnamese dried snacks and candies for sale along with baked goods. This review is for 12/14/24, around 6-7 pm visit. Please train your employee to pay attention when making drinks. I ordered the Artichoke tea and requested 25% sweet and had a feeling they would make a mistake when a different employee other than the one who took my order came up, grab the label and made the drink. Meaning the employee to took the order consciously knew she had to make it at 25% but the one who walked up didn't pay attention to the label and made it incorrectly. I did not take a sip until I started to drive away-100% sweet. This ruin my experience. How hard is it to pay attention and adjust the sweet level. read more

Went to this establishment on the recommendation of a friend. This is nothing fancy, walk up counter to order food then sat down while they brought it to the table. Got to say that the pho and bahn mi sandwich were excellent. The beef broth in the pho was rich and the rare steak was delicious . The thin French baguette bread was crispy just the way it should be and the grilled pork was lean and well seasoned. Be sure and check out all of the amazing French pastries they sell too. Went here last night after eating next door and I can't say it wasn't good or bad just yet. I can say that this spot has potential. I will have to come back and update my review after trying more menu items. From what I did try though, this place has peaked my interest. It's not posted anywhere but they can adjust your drink sweetness level. Just ask. My sister wanted 25% however I wasn't sure if mine accidentally got adjusted because mine wasn't sweet at all and I had to rely on the brown sugar syrup to sweeten up my drink. Now the corn dog was truly something else. If their other baked goods are like the breading on this corn dog then I'll be in for a treat. It was thin, yet held its shape and flavorful. Wasn't too hot which created the perfect cheese pull without burning your mouth. The corn dog itself seemed like it was rolled in a spicy mayo then covered with a generous amount of fresh hot Cheetos. I came about 20 mins before they closed and didn't realize we stayed past 8pm on accident eating our food. I forgot it was a weekday in Glendale! Haha. They didn't rush us once and even though it was the end of the night, you could tell the food was made fresh and with care as the attention to detail was evident in everything we ate. Sitting here writing this review and I could use another corn dog. Next time I'll try the ramen dog. This is such a special place for a little snack and to wind down. This place is one of my favorite lunch places! I tried the chicken banh mi. The chicken is very delicious and has a sweet and spicy marinade flavor, and the veggies are crunchy. They use a freshly baked baguette made in their own bakery that is superior to other places that use a sub roll. I also like their coffee with egg foam. It's important to me to support a family restaurant, and hopefully, you should give them a try, too. The only thing I don't like is if you decide to dine in the restaurant part, they don't give you a plate or tray, so you have to eat on the plastic bag that they put the sandwich in.
