One of the things that was so great about this place -for especially gluten-free eaters - is that they were willing to adjust or accommodate almost anything on the menu in order to make it adaptable. The host, the gentleman behind the bloody Mary bar and our server were very well educated. The restaurant was super cute and had a vibe with black-and-white sayings all over the wall. I was given the new GM's name and phone number, but despite multiple calls and text messages, I was completely ghosted. This left me scrambling to find another venue with only one month before an important family celebration. No customer should be left hanging like that after booking an event. This was actually my second chance giving Lola's another opportunity because I genuinely like the vibe of the place. The first time, my group of only six people was still enjoying drinks when staff told us we had to leave at 11:00 p.m. because there wasn't enough business to justify staying open. That experience was disappointing, but I decided to give them another shot anyway. Sadly, after this experience, I won't be returning. They also have an impressive Bloody Mary bar with lots of toppings and garnishes. The only thing that gave me pause was that the topping containers are open and located right by the entrance, which made me wonder how much dust or debris they might be exposed to throughout the day. One thing to be aware of is that there was an additional service charge added to the bill, which may be related to paying with a credit card. The manager was very nice and attentive.
