Pu'er is in my top 5 boba spots in the Valley, and probably top 3 in the West Valley. Pu'er is so good that I'm willing to drive through 40+ minutes of traffic just to go there. Their drinks taste authentic - not that fake powdery taste and they have so many original flavors that you just can't find anywhere else. Their torched crème brulee matcha drink is something I fiend and can't stop ordering! They also have some food on their menu. The cherry on top: they have plenty of seating and you don't feel claustrophobic inside. They're extremely clean and you have spaces to sit and hangout or study. I would absolutely love to see Pu'er open up another location in the Phoenix area or Tempe/Mesa. I recommend Pu'er to everybody looking for their new fave boba spot! My go to Boba place in Glendale area. My favorite drink is Strawberry Lychee Milk Tea; it has the perfect blend of the tea and the tart from the strawberry puree with real strawberry. I also tried the Strawberry Tornado which is a blended drink of jasmine tea and real strawberry puree (pictured). The matcha frap is good and refreshing as well. The matcha taste is a little light. I got the Matcha Strawberry before which the matcha foam is super concentrated for those who like a more bitter matcha. It has plenty of seating and WiFi. It was perfect for getting work done. I also appreciated how clean and quiet it was, with music at a nice low volume. The vibe of the place is a typical boba shop vibe. Hip, chairs/desks, wifti, places to sit and work on your laptop. The grounds in the shop is clean, but the bathroom is a bit dirty. When you go in, you order via a kiosk instead of with a person. Not sure how I feel about that. Not a fan. Anyways, got a normal classic boba tea (or so I thought I did). There were not that many people there, but it took them a while. They have 3 people working, if I remember correctly. Anyways, not the best greeting or friendly vibe. They are not rude by any means. More indifferent. They called my name, and I went to get my boba tea. I noticed there is no boba. They said the drink is only milk tea, and boba is an extra $0.90. I feel very misled by that since the kiosk's picture clearly shows a boba tea. So, unless you read the fine print, you notice it says boba is not included. It is very misleading to use a boba picture, but then it's not actually a boba drink. Anyway, I paid the extra dollar to add boba. They claim they are in the style of Taiwanese boba, which is pretty close. You can taste the fragrance of the tea, the milk seems fresh, and the boba is brown sugar. The boba is cooked well with good chewiness. Overall, the experience is mediocre at best. There are better boba shops in Glendale. read more

There's a lot of things to love about this little drink and snack shop. Their menu is quite extensive, with lots of customizations available. I do find the menu to be a little on the expensive end for the location, and can't say I'm a fan of being charged extra for a no ice/top up. I ordered a classic boba milk tea and a matcha cheese tea with boba, both at 50 percent sweet and light ice. The ice level was perfect, and I actually found 50 percent sweet to be way less than other shops. Truthfully I might try 75 percent sweet next time, though I am not entirely opposed to 50 percent sweet. My biggest pet peeve with my matcha was that it tasted like a low grade matcha. The texture was a little gritty, chalky and taste not smooth. I don't think I'd order a matcha here again. At best I'd call it a culinary grade of matcha, and I'm used to most places using something closer to a ceremonial grade. The boba were perfect texture, with plenty of flavor, which a big plus for me. Service was quick and the interior was clean and chic. I also love that they better hours than most boba shops in the area 10am-10pm. I would visit again if in the area, but likely would try something else on the menu. read more

From the moment you walk in, the décor is beautiful and thoughtfully done, and the customer service was just as impressive. Delicious boba shop! The only -1 star is for the overwhelming "organic" odor which makes it hard to stay in there for too long. It's a hip/modern environment with seating for lounging or working, not in the beeeest location in this strip mall, but it works for in and out service! Grand opening was pretty busy but the line moved fairly quickly all things considered. Staff was very friendly, not just to me but also to my little one. My mini thought they were super nice as well, they actually had a quick conversation with her about the stuffy she got with the purchase for the grand opening. We ordered a bunch of things so we could get a good feel for the menu. With the grand opening special for bogo drinks, it came out to a little over $50 not including tip. We ordered 5 drinks: Watermelon Lemonade Strawberry tornado Strawberry lychee green tea Torched creme brûlée coffee latte Tropical fruits tea The torched creme brûlée coffee latte is delicious. I got mine with half sweetness and it was amazing. It's not too sweet and the coffee flavor was smooth and well rounded. One of the touches that they have with the cups are little heart plastic pieces to cover the open side opposite of the straw opening. Cuuuuttteee. Also, I would totally drink this again. Strawberry tornado tasted like strawberry and coconut but mostly strawberry and it was basically a smoothie. The mini mini loved it. Strawberry lychee green tea was sweet but not too sweet. It was sweet and refreshing. The flavors complement each other well. Super yummy. The watermelon lemonade tasted mostly like watermelon. It was super tasty and I literally said "whoa" when I took a sip. The tropical fruits tea, omg so so so good. It's a nice blend of mixed fruit and so refreshing even though today wasn't super hot. 10/10 I'd get it again. Food: Beef Teriyaki Banh mi Grilled chicken teriyaki noodle bowl Tiramisu We got the tiramisu first and bc we skipped breakfast, we shared it and ate it really quickly. It was light, not overly sweet and they have a strawberry matcha flavor that I didn't get but will get next time I'm back in. I wish it had a touch more coffee flavor, but it was still very good. Beef teriyaki banh mi was pretty good. It's very saucy so make sure you have napkins. It's a good sized sandwich with a pretty generous amount of beef. It wasn't overly salty. It would have been a little bit easier to eat if the meat was cut up into a little smaller pieces, but other than that, nothing to complain about. I have a big appetite and only made it through half, so it's a great price if it lasts for 2 meals for you. The chicken teriyaki bowl was for my mini. She liked it a lot. I thought it was just okay in my opinion. The noodles were cooked nicely, it came with vegetables that she ate separately. There were pickled carrots and lettuce.
