I decided to give Great Lakes Bee Supply a try, after hard winter losses in my apiaries this year. Ordering was easy, but then I heard nothing when it came time to pick up my nucs. No emails, no phone messages. They claimed that they tried to call, but I have no record of any incoming calls from them. It would have been easy to just shoot me an email (they had my email address), but no. When I found out that the nuc delivery had already happened, they offered me a hive or equal value or a refund. Seeing that I plopped down $875 for 5 nucs, I opted for a refund, which I have yet to see. Emails inquiring about my refund have not been returned. I'm about ready to make the 2 hour drive to demand a refund face-to-face. I'll let you know how this all ends. Needless to say, this experience has been very disappointing.
