The ambiance was airy and very chillaxing. I had one of the frozen non-alcoholic coffee slushies, which was the absolutely perfect small size, as I didn't get overwhelmed by brain freeze. I also tried the Drum cake, which supposedly is the customer favorite. Delish, and small enough to keep me guilt-free. I would have given 5 stars if they had greater selection of non-coffee drinks- come on guys... matcha is the rage now! Very comfy. I look forward to my next visit.

You can get a tasting or tasting pours if you want to try a few things. If you do, I recommend having at least two of their bourbons (Fiddler's Antique and Hunker), one rye (toasted for me), and one clear spirit (I prefer vodka; hubby, gin) if you can mix your liquor. Order at the beautiful back bar, then pick a seat, and they'll bring you your drink. I have a difficult time getting something other than an old-fashioned, but I also bought their espresso martini, and my hubby loves whatever mule they are making. Enjoy! If you prefer non-alcoholic, they will make you a mocktail. FYI- They have another store on the Westside Beltline.

Find the doors on the side of Chido Padres with a picture of two animals on the door windows. (Check pictures) Free parking lot! We got two drinks: Silent Night Margarita and Hung by the Fireside. Our total was $71.60 with tax for 4 drinks. Each drink was about $16. Pros Loved the decor and the drinks were great! Not too much juice and just enough alcohol. Cons $16 a drink can rack up pretty quickly if you're a heavy drinker. Would I Recommend: Yes! Based on the drinks I would definitely recommend this place. We tried a few cocktails and some shots, and everything was smooth, balanced, and honestly way too easy to sip. You can tell they take pride in their bar program. On top of that, the cowboy theme makes the whole experience even better. From the décor to the music, the space feels playful and immersive without being over the top -- like stepping into a Western saloon but with a modern, classy twist. Perfect for a night out with friends when you want great drinks and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile.

Other similar private rooms were in the vicinity. I had never even known about it. The ratatouille was pretty good as the only vegetarian item. We also really enjoyed the butternut squash soup. But definitely pig out on meat if that's what you're feeling since there are plenty of options along those lines. And don't skip dessert. I got the Chopped Salad, which came with romaine lettuce, iceberg lettuce, cherry tomatoes, chickpeas, olives, artichoke hearts, calabrese salami, applewood smoked bacon, cucumber, asiago cheese, and Italian vinaigrette for $16. I left out the bacon and cucumbers since I don't like cucumbers and bacon overwhelms salads. Since the salad didn't come with protein, I decided to add salmon. The salmon was cooked well, but for the price I paid, it just wasn't worth it. My salad ended up costing $40 altogether. I mean... $24 for a piece of salmon? Come on! That being said, the restaurant was nicely decorated, and we were seated near the fireplace in a quiet spot, just the two of us, which made it feel cozy and relaxing. Next time I will definitely ask the prices of protein before I decide on what to eat.
