Cross Creek Cafe is located inside a Buckhead community off of I-75 and Moores Mill Rd. Overlooking the golf course, this cafe offers a delightful dining experience accompanied by a view of the rolling greens. "The Cross Creek Café provides casual dining for lunch, dinner, and Sunday Brunch, as well as professional planning for special events." The menu, posted on line, offers a wide variety of foods, although the management has never heard of vegetarians. Go on Sunday for the brunch and enjoy the Eggs Benedict. At lunch, try the Reuben! Most of the staff have been working at the cafe for years and know most of the dining patrons by name. They may even provide a little bread from the kitchen for kids to take out to the golf course and feed the numerous geese and ducks who frequent the large pond. For a little late night action, step into the bar which is housed in the corner with its own entrance. Loud and often crowded, this place definitely fits the bill as a local "watering hole". You will never be short of happenings in this place. Whether enjoying a Sunday brunch with the family or dining out with a special someone, the Cross Creek Cafe is a delightful place and well worth a try for someone new to the area.

It's not the place for a quick bit, but we were okay with that and had fine service. The shrimp and grits was SO GOOD-- I highly recommend and might even say this is a must get. The taste, service and quality of the food are all outstanding just like the one in College Park. Our waiters name was Chris and he was amazing. We wanted to sit outside at the fire pit and he made sure the fire pit was set to a comfortable level for our liking. Additionally, he continuously checked in on us and made sure we didn't go without. Our food was made to perfection. I love the Cajun chicken sandwich and although this was my first time having it in years I still remember the flavor and this sandwich didn't disappoint at all. My husband ordered the shrimp po boy and at every bite as well. We both enjoyed our drinks as well, the peach lemon drop and whiskey mojito. A great restaurant for American cuisine with a Cajun twist. I've been a fan of this restaurant for a very long time and I'm happy I'm still able to enjoy their food.

I have been wanting a Turkey burger for a few weeks so I finally decided to feed my craving! I…read moretypically go to LOL burger, but read a review that raved about the turkey burger at this spot! I was sold! I arrived around 3:30pm. They have a dedicated parking a lot that had plenty of open spots when I arrived. When I walked in I read the sign that said seat yourself, so I did just that . The wait staff immediately came over with a menu. She asked if I needed another drink besides water. I am not a fan of ice cold water so I did request water with no ice. I checked out the menu period to arriving so I already knew my order ! I opted for the turkey burger with Parmesan garlic fries. The sound of this had my mouth watering in anticipation as I waited for my food to arrive . It appears the food was cooked fresh because it took a good 15 minutes for my food to arrived. There were only two other patrons in the restaurant so they were not busy . When my food arrived - I got so excited to take that first bite . I started with the fries! I enjoyed them but I did not taste the garlic . Additionally I am accustomed toParmesan cheese being grated thin- the cheese on the fries did not look like Parmesan, but they were tasty! Would I order them again? - no- they just did not taste like Parmesan garlic fries so no need to pay extra for it next time . Now for the star of the show--- this turkey burger was amazing!! Here is the deal, the actual Pattie is nothing special - it's what is included with the Pattie that makes this good. The kale slaw , and the sauce - oh my gosh!! You get every macro you need , protein , carbs and fiber!!! Then to make it even better it has a spicy kick to it ! When I tell you I cleaned my plate ! There was not one crumb on my plate when I finished! My only complaint -- please clean the router and the items next to it ! I sat in the booth directly by the router and the amount of dust on that thing was disturbing ! I wanted to clean it myself! I am sure this does not need to be stated - but I will be back and I would recommended you check this spot out !

If you go and don't order it, you're doing it wrong. It's rich, flavorful, perfectly melty, and honestly worth the visit all on its own. The outdoor patio is another win -- spacious enough to spread out, but still cozy and inviting. It's the kind of spot that makes you want to grab another round just to stay a little longer. Speaking of rounds, the pours here are generous (yes, finally!) and everything on the menu feels thoughtfully priced. No sticker shock -- just solid value across the board. All in all, The Companion is the kind of place you can count on: whether you're stopping by for a casual lunch or kicking back for happy hour. I'll definitely be back.

The truffle popcorn was really good, though I honestly think it would make a great complimentary table snack. The Rockefeller oysters were cooked well and still had plenty of flavor, but they weren't included in the BOGO oyster special. I also tried the truffle toast, which sounded better than it tasted for me, so I swapped it for the McDowell burger. It was cooked medium and was much better. My Coming to America fans will get that name. They also have a 'Whiskey Bible' with a ton of options if you're into whiskey. Overall, it was a good experience and I'd definitely come back
