I was driving through Enterprise and it was dinner time. I was in a rare mood for meat and Yelp gave me this recommendation. The building was bright and attractive and there was plenty of secure, well lit parking. I decided to stop. I was seated immediately and my server was a wonderful woman named Carrington. She was friendly, polite, efficient and very good at her job. I had my water and a cold beer on my table in minutes. I ordered a pulled pork, Mac and cheese burger and fries. The burger was absolutely incredible. I enjoyed every bite. Carrington checked on me regularly and I never was left wanting for anything. This one of the better burgers I've ever had. There was no way I could eat it in a sitting so I had my leftovers packed in a to go box and took it yo the hotel with me to eat later. Food was good. Portions were nice size. I had the bbq pulled pork Mac and cheese burger and my husband had the steak ribeye sandwich. It was definitely fresh. Server could have been a little bit more attentive. It was a little dark but it is a sports bar. The "kid" friendly "arcade" area was a joke. Just a few claw machines and a racing game. We stopped here on our way to Birmingham to grab a quick lunch. Well, that didn't work out well. The server was good, although the kitchen was VERY slow. Went in to have a bite to eat and watch the game about 7:00 pm. The floor looked like a tornado had gone through the place. No one was cleaning or sweeping. There were 5 men and a woman drinking at the bar that was carrying on a loud conversion about inappropriate things. Profanity from F** to Wh**re and everything in between. No one on the staff tried to quiet them. I know the family, with three small children, did not appreciated that type of language. The people should have been cut off from alcohol and asked to leave. Just the employees having fun with the drunk people. I was given excuse after excuse for everything that I ordered. No tea after the first glass, no flatware was clean, but the server did find some after she had brought the meal. I don't think I've ever encountered such weirdly terrible service as I did upon my first visit here. There were only 3 tables and what seemed like 3 people actively staffed at the restaurant. Yet somehow, it took 15+ minutes to receive drinks even though the restaurant as a whole isn't large (probably could seat 50 people at max capacity). The wings were okay, but spicy garlic was drowning in sauce and somehow still lacking flavor. Nashville Hot were crispy and the dry rub was pretty good (only reason that I wouldn't say 1 star). I coincidentally got ill several hours into the night and am still recovering. Also, the server didn't know how much tip was added onto each group's bill and told us "uh, I think about $2?" Spoiler alert: it was 18%. I get that it's a thing for larger groups but if your servers don't even know that, and it's not posted anywhere in the restaurant, that's kind of deceptive. Beef's used to be a great place, now the past three times eating here it takes FOREVER to be waited on, and the food takes even longer. We waited for 35 minutes after we ordered to get our food, then they don't bring my wife's because they messed it up and had to remake it. Ended up having to take it with us since it took longer than our lunch hour. The food tastes like they bought it from the freezer section of Walmart and tried to fry it in cold oil- it's greasy to the point of feeling waxy, flavorless, and not even crispy. Add to that slow service and you already don't have a winning combination, but for me the worst part is their blatant disregard for any sort of COVID sanitary procedures. They have a sign posted on their front door stating that in defiance of the governor's mask mandate, they themselves will not be enforcing anything, and not a single staff member was wearing a mask at any point during the 15 minutes I waited for my takeout order (for which I arrived 40 minutes after placing the order, based on their 35 min estimate. That's a 55 minute wait from ordering to the food coming out of the kitchen for those keeping count). If you hate following rules meant to keep others safe and food that tastes good, this is the place for you. Otherwise, steer clear. read more

Dinner with the family last night was disappointing. I had fish which had a good flavor but way too salty. The rice that came with it was good except way to salty. The broccoli was good. My husband had fish and chips which came with a tiny bowl of flavorless cole slaw. My daughter had steak quesidias which were salty. My very picky grandaughter ordered chicken tender sort of things that were over cooked to the point of being dried out and hard and had a weird sauce cooked on them. She would not eat them . I am not at all picky and I could not even eat one. Weird sauce. We have had fajitas and burgers here before and really enjoyed them. I dont know what was going on tonight. I can only rate my to-go experience. We ordered ribs, the shrimp basket and a steak rice bowl. Everything was correct in the order, the person on the phone was super nice and the food was ready when they promised and still hot when we got it home. My first experience with a party of two tables of people took a total of 3 hours to serve. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt since then, not returning once, not twice, but three times. The food went from delicious to ok, to wtf??!!! Every visit the chicken wings just get bigger and bigger and pinker and squishier on the inside to the point where it's unreal! There can't be that many steroids in the world to support this restaurants chicken. We use to love beef o bradys lunch chef salad for dinner, with 16 chicken wings that the hubby and i could split..i called tonight to ask for just a lunch size chef salad. Was told they got new managment about 6 months ago and their menu times changed and they could no longer sever lunch for dinner... when i spoke to managment on duty, she wasnt helpful either, and said "i can make you the lunch chef salad but charge you for the dinner!" After no one even acknowledging us for about 10 minutes, one of my group went up to the bar and asked if we could at least get someone to get us drinks. Then nothing. We finally had to pay for our soft drinks and leave. It is usually a pretty good restaurant. The waitress was very nice and apologized. It obviously wasn't her fault. How is this place not rated higher for the area? I prefer the burgers here over Cheeburger Cheeburger down the road. The side dish choices are also better if you like to round out your meal with veggies. The menu is full of options from salads, pizza, burgers, to dinner plates. Service is always great and the ugly store front belies the huge restaurant full of seats inside. Lots of room, with a bar in the back. I have eaten at Beef 'O' Brady's in Enterprise many times and have always had a good experience. However, a friend and I went today and never got waited on, so we got up and left. We got there at 12:10, so you would have thought they would be busy. There was one couple sitting in a booth, and a couple of guys at the bar. Now I know why. No one ever came to our table or even acknowledged that we were there. A waitress went to the couple sitting at the booth, which was 3 booths down from us, and she never even looked in our direction. Dining Disaster! The atmosphere was stale with a run-down look more commonly associated with a cheap gas station. The wall adjacent to our booth hadn't been cleaned and looked like it could've experienced a sneezing fit. The booth bench was upholstered with a full width 3 inch tear reminiscent of a 70s VW beetle rear seat. It's Sept and cheap St. Pattys Day decorations are randomly hanging from the ceiling. One star is too many when looking at the carpet that looks like it outlived its usefulness 5 years ago. Food was uninspiring. Maybe I needed more beer! The Southwest Burger was flat and over seasoned. The accompanying lettuce shred was wilted and my greasy onion rings looked more like fat spaghetti than rings. Water was delivered w/o a lemon. I come here quite often, especially during football season every Monday night for wings and beer. The service itself is okay, but really dependent on who your waitress is. Some of them are downright terrible, but then others are amazing. The food is good, not the greatest, but for the price it's not bad. The beer selection is the best in town, and all on tap. This place could be a solid 4, but the off and on service, holds it back. Regardless, it's worth checking out. read more
