This is not about the food, the staff...this is about the owner. Our first visit after moving down from Citrus Co. I watched him walk around the restaurant the whole time we were there. He berated the staff in front of customers and cussed about someone's (staff) mistake as walking past the bar into the staff area. I finally asked if he was the manager so I could complain; unfortunately he owns the place so there's no helping that situation. Went there today while being in service, our server stopped, turned around and walked away to help somebody else in the middle of pouring our drinks one drink serv the other one sitting there after she was done she proceeded to go into the kitchen and complain to some waitress about who knows what finally my wife had to get up and ask her if she's going to fix my drink with an attitude she comes back we decided we should leave. We were a regular customers, but we're not anymore. My advice is to get rid of that lady. If not, that's OK , because we will not be going back,. It was advertised as a free meal for Veterans on Veterans Day. My hubby and I hadn't been here in awhile. They were short of employees. We asked if there was a special menu for veterans to order from or a free special item. Because it was advertised as a free meal. The server informed us with a no but they would take $12 off. If I could do a 0-star review I would. I had a party of 7 including myself. Not many people there at all. It was this past Saturday. I ordered a grilled cheese that came about 15 minutes after everyone else's food. It tasted like it was likely moldy inside. My brother ordered chicken tenders that also came after everyone else's food. In total there was about a 2 hour wait for our food. The woman said she'd bring us chips while we waited and it was about 5 chips. I asked for queso to go with them and it was awful. We saw multiple people get food before we did and it was incredibly enraging. I will say that the cook came out and apologized. Said COVID made them real hard-pressed to get people to come into work. Been a customer since you opened. I received an email from Beef's stating "Moms eat free on Mother's Day.". It said meal had to be on 10 for 10 menu and participating locations. Three families went to our location today. After we removed our bills we noted we did not receive two offers. The server (she was great) asked the manager about it and he said their location was not participating. The location was empty except for a few folks in the bar. I will never go to them again and we are regulars. We took for granted that it would be redeemed, that is bad on us. That being said I hope he is happy with driving three families away from his establishment. read more

There are not many places in Lehigh Acres to have an American style cuisine sit down meal. Beef's the local sports bar is one of the few in town. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a sports bar. The bar area somewhat separated from the dining area. The waitress sat us down and was very attentive in going over the menu and getting our drink order. I had the Boom Boom Shrimp for an appetizer and the special of the day Fish and Chips. The Fish and Chips was to come with 3 pieces of fried fish, French fries and Cole slaw, but I substituted the fries with a small salad. I received my Boom Boom Shrimp covered nicely in sauce on a bed of fresh lettuce. The shrimp were nice size and very tasty! the spice was perfect as it didn't show up right away, but crept in after a minute. The main meal came a little later. I still received fries on my plate, but my waitress took care of the right away and got me a salad with no hesitation. The salad and Cole slaw were both very good, but that was the end of that. The fish ended up being completely frozen in the middle. The waitress again apologized and took my plate away to get new fish. The new fish again came with fries and I was a little worried because the fries looked very under cooked. The new fish was much better and cooked all the way through. I did wish the owner/manager who was on premises would have talked to me about the issue, but the waitress did such a wonderful job making things better! I usually hate sports bars so when my party selected this place, initially I was disappointed. However, the experience itself wasn't nearly half as bad as I was expecting. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised! The restaurant's atmosphere itself was definitely milder than most sports pubs that I've been to; it wasn't very loud and the displays were clean. Our waitress was very kind, consistently attentive, and apologetic if she made any mistakes. The buffalo chicken dip left more to be desired, but the burrito I had, the big steak burrito or whatever it was called, was delicious! $40 for three people and an appetizer? No complaints here! I've been to Beef's several times over the years. I can't believe I've never reviewed it! A solid 3.5. While not busy for this lunch break, the food was good, and the service was attentive. The waitress made an excellent suggestion for one of the lunch specials (done up a bit different than the menu provided), and the result was delicious. Chicken sliders done up Buffalo style... try this. Seriously. Fresh drinks without asking, and one to-go. The waitress was a mind-reader. Good for the whole family, including the kids. Had dinner with my wife on Wednesday 8/14/19 when a cockroach tried to join us for dinner. I crushed the cockroach and flushed him down the toilet. We reported this to our waitress who proceeded to report this to the manager. His comment was that exterminator will be called. He made no apologizes or any manner of compensation. My guests and I were here June 22, 2018. We'd been wanting to try BOBs for a while. We were not disappointed! Yes, the menu is heavy on bar food but it is a sports bar with many TVs mounted high on the walls. However, we truly enjoyed our food. The Boom Boom Shrimp and onion ring appetizers hit the spot. This used to be our 'favorite' Beef O' Brady's...until tonight. We visited on a regular basis especially during football season for the last 10 years. I ordered the shrimp tacos because I tried them at a different Beefs and they were delicious and had 5-6 good size shrimp in them. Imagine my surprise when my entree arrived and there was 1 small shrimp cut in half in each taco (so small I had to point out the shrimp to my husband)...yes that is one whole small shrimp in each taco for $9.99. When I sent it back, I was told by our server that 2 shrimp is the "standard". The manager was there and didn't even come over to address this issue. I sent the entree back and requested it be removed from the bill. It's a shame...we've had some great times at this restaurant. read more

The wife was told we would like this place as she loves "Bar Food". We ordered the fried pickles app and large portion was served. They tasted great but served with a very small portion of ranch for dipping. The waitron who was wearing short shorts 2 sizes to small stopped at 2 tables around us as I was waving to her, but she ignored me. I saw the male manager who noticed me waving and also ignored me. Finally she brought us another small serving of ranch for the pickles. The wife's BBQ bacon cheese Angus burger with slaw was good she said. My Sante Fe chicken salad was lame at best. Very little chicken and just no taste. When I paid the bill I noticed they charged us an extra 79 cents for the extra small portion of ranch. We understand this is a popular place, but I don't understand why. Wife and I went there to watch Sunday football. We ordered a pitcher of beer, wings and artichoke/ spinach dip to start with. I'd rate the wings just ok. Good heat but no flavor and a little undercooked. The artichoke/spinach had no flavor, was served cool and the chips were mostly broken. By the 2nd half of the game we decided to give it another chance and split a Cuban sandwich between us....big mistake. Any self respecting Cuban would have sent it back. It was lacking a decent amount of meat, it was over sauced, and the tomatoes weren't ripe. The kicker to the entire unpleasant experience was when I presented the server with a coupon for a discount, she informed me that I couldn't use it because we received a beer and wing combination special. I asked for the manager and explained that even though we had the special we ordered more food(around $20) more. I asked what if we would have closed out the first ticket and opened a new one for the additional food and drinks. He said nope. One discount per table. I told him it's not about the 1 or 2 dollars difference, it's the principal and the he just lost 2 future customers. He said, "that's your decision". I'm a retired resort manager and former restaurant owner. If one of my managers would have treated a customer like that he would have been dismissed immediately. read more
