National Chicken Wing Day brought me in to take advantage of the $7.49 special for 10 wings. Unfortunately, my visit started off on the wrong foot. As I walked in, the restaurant felt a bit dark, which wasn't an issue. What was disappointing was that no one was at the hostess stand to greet or seat guests. I stood there for a few moments while two Hooters servers walked right past me without acknowledging me, so I eventually seated myself. Right away, I felt like my business wasn't appreciated. Just two weeks ago, I visited the Fort Myers location near Edison Mall, and the difference in customer service was night and day. Although the Cape Coral location is much closer to my home, I'd gladly drive the extra distance to Fort Myers for the better overall experience and management. My server, Madi, was pleasant enough, but the service was average. After my food was delivered, she only checked on me once. Meanwhile, I noticed another server spending several minutes chatting with one of her tables, which made me feel like attentive service wasn't a priority during my visit. As I finished my loaded tots , I was unable to finish all my wings, so I asked Madi for a box. The size box she brought me was small, I had a strategically place each wing so they can fit. I ordered the National Chicken Wing Day special along with an order of loaded tots. The food was very good, and I have no complaints there. The wings and tots earned 5 out of 5 stars. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the customer service. As I was leaving, the manager in the green shirt saw me walking out the front door but never acknowledged me or thanked me for coming in. His attention seemed focused on a conversation with the bartender and two other Hooters employees. That was a disappointing way to end my visit. I'm sure many customers have had positive experiences here, but this review reflects my own. I've visited many Hooters locations over the years, and this Cape Coral restaurant was a complete contrast to the friendly, welcoming atmosphere I often see promoted on Hooters' social media. Based on my experience, this location simply didn't live up to those expectations. Myself and a group of friends went to Hooters to watch Game 5 of the NBA Finals between the Knicks and Spurs. When we arrived, the audio was playing for a Brazil World Cup soccer match. After the soccer game ended, we asked if the sound could be switched to the NBA Finals game. The manager came out and told us that, according to "corporate policy," he was not allowed to play the audio for the NBA game. What was frustrating is that nearly everyone sitting on the patio was there specifically to watch the Knicks-Spurs game. Rather than considering the customers' requests or looking for a solution, the manager simply hid behind "corporate policy." This is not the first time I've experienced poor customer service from management at this location. I understand that businesses have policies, but customer service also requires listening to customers and using good judgment. Unfortunately, that was completely lacking during this visit. read more

I had not visited a Hooters in probably three years as the local one where I live closed. We were vacationing and stopped at this location. Everything was top-notch. Ordered through Uber Eats and spent $30 on 10 wings and cheese fries. The wings were overcooked, dry, and barely had any sauce. The cheese fries were even worse, fries were cold and stale like they'd been sitting around all day, but the cheese on the side was hot, which just made it worse. This place has gone downhill bad.. 3 of us sat down inside just shy of 3pm on a Wendsay - needless to say it wasn't too crowded... but it still took over 10 minutes for a server to get to the table. Odd.... finally, a woman came over and took our order only to wait more than 20 more minutes to get our drinks (and that was after us flagging down the staff). Everyone has a bad day, I get it. Following this, 3 tables sat behind us ... all of whom received their food and drinks while we still sat there waiting... finally, after 50 mins, we finally tossed money on the table to cover our drinks(plus a tip!), and I approached the server to tell her it had been an hour and we're leaving due to the hold up. David, a "manager" followed me out asking me what the problem was, which I was happy to tell him. After which, he said something along the lines like you think yore a bad ass talking to girls like that? And instead told me to get off his property! Lol this 100lb little shi$... lol I asked him if he was out of his mind... I said nothing in appropriate to any of the employees there, infact we were wildly patient, given the senario. I've been there dozens of times without a problem, but Holy hell, what a hell waste this place has become. I get it. Some people don't like Hooters wings. So they don't count. I've been to Hooters around the world. This one is one of the if not the best. Crew of 8 and everyone loved what they got. My mother thought the fish and chips were outstanding. And the rest of us all had wing. I wish this Hooters was near us in the great white north! read more

Servers were friendly and quick, also a different server came up and gave me a compliment on my outfit which was sweet. Bartender did a great job that day with my drink also during social distancing in effect, I watched her keep her ground and denied service to an over crowded group by the bar. Curly fries were mediocre this time, they needed more salt but usually they are good. The naked jerk wings are our go to. We will be back anyways it's bar food. 5 stars for service though was happy with the service the most. read more

Why is because, our waiter was gone for a long time and so we asked the waiter next to us after she had gotten her orders for her table so we asked where our waiter was and we were describing our waiter to her and she said "I don't know who your waiter is" and she said in a rude tone so I would give the service a 2. We placed a to go order and there wasn't one good thing about it! The wings were edible but everything else was dreadful. For example the big fish sandwich was dry, the bun was hard, no sauce, no butter or lettuce tomato or onion. I called and got David the manager who tried to nit pic and tell me its the way the menu says!!! Garbage! No apology at all! ! $115 , we could have ordered from Culvers and had hot fresh food! I am giving them a full star rating. I know that most people have their ideas of Hooters and while I do agree; this particular Hooters goes above and beyond with not only their service but seriousness of COVID-19. They have kept everyone 6 feet apart; All of their waitresses and kitchen staff are wearing masks and gloves. Ok so we have officially lived in Cape Coral for going on a year and a half. In the beginning we were understanding that customer service maybe lacking due to the snow ball effects of the pandemic but that just cannot still be the case here. They have plenty of servers and the overall customer service literally just sucks. The food is fine- wings being the best but the lack of attention is annoying in terms of service. Got served one drink the entire time we were there about an hour and half and was never asked about or offered another. I literally had to drink my spouses drink to finish my meal. We won't be back. Some servers at this establishment need to get with those that like to make money based off of customer service which is waitressing/serving and take some notes. read more

Wasn't my choice to dine here, but majority ruled. Went with 10 wings, medium hot, could of been spicier - but still really decent. They consider 12 ounces to be a large beer. Very friendly service, along with every sport around available on many televisions. read more

This is a pretty good Hooters, much nicer that the ones on Long Island & NYC. It's 3.5 but I'm bumping them up because I really wanted to give them a 4. My only knock was they were out of the smoked chicken wings that looked fantastic on the menu. I had their traditional, which were, you know "Hooters wings". Crispy, lil greasy, not so bad but not great. The side of 3 mile sauce helped out. The service was amazing. I usually don't mention this kind of stuff on my reviews but our waitress was stunningly beautiful & sweet! The beer was ice cold. One thing Bud light drinkers know right away are dirty lines or skunked beer. I'm happy to say it was crisp & clean. Side note the pretzel was very good with or without beer cheese. My friends ordered the fried pickles, up to snuff and I had to steal a couple. When I go back down to Cape Coral I'm expecting 3 things. We have been coming to this Hooters since we moved to Cape Coral in 2020. The food consistency and service are the main reasons we keep coming back! We love the atmosphere here, bartenders are friendly and talk to you. We love that you can play music through touchtunes and can watch any sports on their tv's. We prefer the outside - no smoking here is a plus! Good airflow, even when it is hot outside. Inside is nice as well but cooler if you like air conditioned eating. read more

Everything was great up until we went to pay our bill and presented them a card we had purchased from North Fort Myers High School where different businesses advertise and offer discounts, in this case it was supposed to be 10% off our entire bill but they would only honor the food and not the 2 pitchers of beer. Unlike Brookes Restaurants discount offer where they stipulate that the discount does not include alcohol, Hooters did not state this. After asking to speak to the manager who refused to honor the offer we paid our bill but upon leaving we noticed our server and the manager laughing at us. Our family visits Hooters often, have for years. We are familiar with their offerings, taste, and expectations. Last evening we went in, 3 of us this time, often 8-10. Plenty of staff available. Upon ordering some usuals, the meals came out 2 out of three wrong and our server was aloof. My wife's came out with hot level of which she can't eat, and daughter ordered a salad but no salad came out, only boneless wings. When we told her, she was "indifferent" to the mistake. Just turned around and walked back with them not saying a word. I will say...they play music way too loud in the restaurant and it is likely she could not clearly hear orders. I would say volume was 7 or 8 out of 10, actually disruptive to the experience of dining out. Then about 1.5 minutes later they brought my wife's back out. I only know this because the TV was right in front of me and I saw the time on the TV switch once. Her meal now was much wetter meaning they reapplied the seasoning again, perhaps cutting it with butter as they do. Still too hot. I like hot, often order 3 mile but just changed it up and noticed that mine was hotter then there normal hot which was fine for me, but definitely different. When we called the server back, she then rather then having an attitude of how can I help, became belligerent and just said, that is medium and what you ordered. I asked her in a loud tone...why would you do that versus just helping. My wife rarely says anything, normally just stays silent. Then manager came over, sort of took same position, but then went back and got fresh order making them mild. Later, another manager came over and asked and said we were not the first people to say this tonight and acknowledged our concern which was appreciated. Meanwhile, our server, Jas.....never return to fill one glass. Mine remained empty for the rest of the meal. I gave her a mercy regular tip cause she is pregnant and wanted to support her. After reviewing our spend over 5 years in our Mint program, we have spent $27000 between Ft Myers and CC Hooters. My suggestion is to take on a new culture, which should be, "The answer is yes, how can I help you" versus being excuse makers, it will serve you well. Just a note, I am a operational expert in retail and guest experiences, consult with companies, and have a large company here in SW Florida with close to 100 employees. Ordered Curly fries and an order of 20 wings, 10 breaded and 10 unbreaded all medium. Order arrived on a timely manner, however the wings were terribly greasy almost dripping with grease. No sauce flavor at all, not even a tiny bit of spiciness, which was a huge disappointment. We even asked for a bit of extra sauce thinking they were lightly sauced. no luck, it lookled like oil that came out of the fryer. Took me awhile (3 years) to go back here after food poisoning. And nothing changed...of course nothing has changed at any Hooters in years, lol. The schtick of this place is no longer working. Who cares about the scantilyclad waitresses anymore? If that's what you're looking for, you can go to the beach and see more skin. Now these uniforms seem dated and sexist, especially in today's cultural environment. Hooters would do well to give their restaurants a facelift and new uniforms for the servers. As for the food, the wings are your standard fare for wings these days. When they are done right, they are really good. But when they are off, they are really off. I enjoy a medium wing and some of the best I've had have been at this Hooters. But I've also had some bad batches. They are hit or miss. I like their salad. The chef goes great with the wings for this non-lover of French fries. Great ranch dressing. Staff is always friendly. Tho I've gotten to feel sorry for the girls having to wear those uniforms and the nylons must be sooooo hot. Time for makeover Hooters....you're not the only wing place in town anymore. We go to all the Hooters in Charlotte, Lee and Collier county and they all are pretty much the same (excellent) except this one. The wings don't have much sauce, The salad dressing seems to be watered down, The size if the salad is smaller than other Hooters restaurants. It seems like the owner or manager is trying to milk every last cent of profit out of every meal. We keep trying this Del Prado restaurant because it is close to our house but this will be the last time at this Hooters. It's worth the drive to go to another Hooters. You would think a chain as large as this would have a quality control department or mystery shoppers to see that this does not happen. read more

I ordered a steak and salad. I cut into the steak and it was not cooked enough for me, so I asked for it to be put on the grill a little longer. A short while later I saw two steaks come off the grill, one came to me. It was NOT the same steak I sent back (different shape and no cut mark). I cut into that steak and it was even more undercooked than the one I sent back. I told the waitress it was a different steak - but that went no where. The brand new manager overreacted to the review from Cheryl M. on 8/10/2015. I was a regular there until last week when I went in and my waitress wasn't allowed to talk to me. It was perfectly fine for the manager, whose name is Kevin, to spend almost 2 hours talking with one table without moving and it was perfectly fine for the waitresses to stand at the front door doing nothing because they didn't have many customers, or any work to do, but my waitress was afraid to spend 30 seconds talking with me because she'd get in trouble. This restaurant used to have excellent service. The new manager ruined it his first week there. I sent the district manager my phone number but he hasn't called back, so he obviously doesn't care either. There are plenty of other restaurants out there where the manager thinks that it's more important to do his job than talk with one customer and watch the game on TV for almost 2 hours straight. read more
