Great dive food bar! Food is very good. Great drinks. Pool tables. Ladies night and poker nights.

I'm real disappointed with my visit this evening. I just left there. There were three waitresses working. I found that out when we were about to leave. Only one acknowledged me even though I stood at the counter finding out whether we had to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. One of the reasons I stood at the counter is because there weren't many people in there and i'm almost positive that we would have never been acknowledged because I was standing there and wasn't even acknowledged right away. There was one lady that finally came to take my order. After that there was the bartender, who also happened to be our waitress as well. Here I am thinking that she was the only one there, since it was pretty slow. But that wasn't the truth. My husband had to get up to pay the bill since no one came back to the table for him to pay. He found out that there were two other waitresses on the other side of the establishment that should have been working. But they weren't. They weren't helping us like they should have been. The food portions were very small and without seasoning. No one ever came to check on us during our dining experience until we had finished our meal. Our table never got cleared off until the end, because I am assuming that this waitress that did finally wait on us, who was also the bartender, was just too busy working at the bar to come back. Someone did try to help us at the end but it was too little, too late. We still left a tip though. The macaroni and cheese had very little flavor and my husband's was cold. My mashed potatoes and gravy was also cold. They need to step their game up. I'm also disappointed in those small buffalo chicken egg rolls as well. They were extremely small for the price. I've had much larger egg rolls than that for the price that we paid. For almost ten dollars, they should have been much larger. Reply to the so called owner.... What you just stated isn't true. And it's more of a reason why I will never come back! There's no reason for me to look for anything to complain about. Don't tell me that I give what I get. From the time I walked in, I stood there for a long time before anyone acknowledged me. As a business owner, you are supposed to make your clients happy. There's no reason for you to try to blame me for being unpleasant toward anyone. I'm the one paying my money to patronize your establishment. If everything was okay, then this would not have been a review that I would have left. You all need to get it together. I never had an attitude, but I was disappointed because I had to stand there and no one did acknowledge me. There was no reason for me to make this up or to lie. What's even worse is instead of you trying to apologize about what was done wrong. You instead threw the ball at me like I was the problem. You are absolutely despicable!!! The other thing you need to do is go get rid of those flies in there. It only takes a moment to get a fly strip. We should have taken our food to go. Then we wouldn't have had to deal with all the flies or the poor service. The owner left a nasty message towards me like I was the problem and this was my reply to her. We went one time to see what everyone raved about. It was rather disappointing. It is mostly a bar with bar food. We won't be back.

Bartender was good, atmosphere was as it usually is. However, the food is not worth the money. That is a $12 burger with a total count of 20 small french fries that I've attached. My wife's burger was just as small, but she got 24 fries, she must be living right. I put my thumb in the pic for perspective. If that burger was 4 oz I'd be surprised, and on top of that they were dry. I say stop for a beer but think twice about the food. My hubby and I decided to give this place a try. We came for a mid day lunch. Muriel was our fantastic server. We had just missed the lunch crowd so it was a nice open choice to sit anywhere we wanted. It had a really nice tavern snd grill feel. Also, good place to watch sports. This place is really active for having fun times for people to attend. They recently had a Halloween bash. They're known for celebrating all stuff to include Cinco De Mayo and of course St. Patrick's Day. Since it was a late lunch I decided on the Cheesesteak Sub. It comes smothered in melted provolone cheese along with sautéed green peppers and mushrooms. Good thing everything is made fresh and due to my allergy they were able to prepare it without mushrooms. Our server informed us that everything is made fresh to order. My hubby got the Smothered Chicjen which comes with sautéed onions, green peppers and mushrooms smothered in provolone cheese along with homemade mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies. Of course due to my allergy to mushrooms it had it prepared without them. Both of us truly enjoyed our food. We enjoyed our meals very much. So very tasty. We will be back! With the help from various factor this place is a solid 3.8 The factors mentioned are A) The Area: there aren't many places around, especially places that are open late for food/drinks B) The Ambience: it's not fully engulfed in cigarette smoke for one and it's kinda nice inside, seems newly remodeled. C) Kitchen looked clean and food was tasty (although I only had an appetizer) We tried going to Pete's but it felt like I walked into a lit cigarette and we quickly left. I'm so glad I spotted this place and decided to check it out, my gf was hungry and she's dangerous when she hasn't eaten so I knew it would be wise to see if this place had any late night bites. It did, it's open til midnight, very nice feature for this area! Anyway, no IPA (minus points) not even in cans or bottles as the bartender said they were not selling so the owner removed them (what a shame!) I had a Tito's with soda, it was very satisfying. I ordered the cheesy breadsticks and marinara and it hit the spot, maybe some butter on the bread would be nice but it still was very good for a bar. (We aren't talking gourmet or dine dining but it was good, well prepared classic bar fare, prices are moderate (not exactly cheap but not ridiculous) My gf devoured her chili and said the flatbread she also devoured was "tasty", so points for that Overall the place deserves a visit, and I plan on checking out more of their menu. Also, props to the cook (yesterday night), as I could see how clean his kitchen looked and how he was actively scrubbing and cleaning it as we ate. we came here on new years eve. no atmosphere at all. in fact it was dead. but we wanted to make the best of it. we ordered cocktails but it seems that this establishment doesn't believe in adding alcohol to their drinks. it was either just sour mix or watered down pineapple juice. the food was only ok and the apps seemed to be just frozen boxed apps they put in an air fryer. they turned the New Year's Eve countdown off at 11:57 (they told me they were gonna do a countdown, but again it was dead) and we just left. i will avoid in the future as there was nothing id clamor for in the future. read more

Was there twice in a week while visiting the area. 1st visit was fine typical local pub with pub food. Nothing to complain about or brag about and I was not disappointed. Had a fair crowd lively music and an engaging bartender. 2nd visit we did not eat, the place was relatively empty and it was ladies night. We had 2 margaritas and a bottle of water = 26 dollars. I don't argue over prices I simply don't or a second round or return. That's what I'm doing here. I'm not saying it's a bad place and I'm sure the locals like it. Food was ok. The burger I had was pretty good. The only thing I didn't like was that I kind of expected it to be a bar and grill, but it kind of ended up just being a bar that serves food... (Maybe it's my fault for assuming otherwise) Not really a place to take a family out to dinner... And the tables were kind of packed in tightly with the next table having 3 people drinking beers and cussing about 4-5 feet away... If you want to be a drinker and go to a bar, that's fine. Went for lunch. No one was wearing a mask. Not the servers, not the cook. The cook was upset about something and was cursing very loudly several times. On top of that, the cook went to the restroom. I used the restroom afterwards and found the sink dry. Meaning the cook went to the bathroom and returned to cooking without washing his hands. That is just nasty. read more

My wife and I had been going to this bar for months. We have never caused any problem. I asked for glass of ice for friend with broken leg. Was told I needed to pay $10. Any other bars in Lehigh we frequently go gives me glass of ice for free. When I complained about paying for ice barmaid threw drink in my face.. The owner stated either apologize to barmaid or not welcome anymore. We will never go back. We suggest you don't go either. I'm being generous with 3 stars. Our 1st time here and we weren't impressed. I started off with what was supposed to be a Diet Coke and it had very little syrup in it which left it tasting like a soda water. I then asked for an unsweetened ice tea and ended up with that fake Lipton ice tea (not the real deal) but it was ok. Then we get our appetizer (Tots) and at first bite tasted delicious but soon was followed with an nasty bitter taste which I'm having trouble putting into words. Basically the tots were fried in old oil. My husband got the burger which was frozen and unseasoned. I got the buffalo flat bread and it was ok but nothing special. After tip we spent just over $50 and left not very pleased about the $$ we spent vs quality of our meal. This is the type of place you go to for a few alcoholic drinks but maybe skip the food? I was a little hesitate when we first got there because the place wasn't crowded. But I was happily mistaken. The food was excellent and reasonable. We were able to look into the small but spotless kitchen. I would happily recommend this bar/restaurant for anyone who is in the area. read more

I was wanting to try this little tavern & grill for a while because I pass it going to my family's home. We had the opportunity to come here for dinner and I'm glad we did. They have a varied menu that should please just about everyone's tastes. I wanted to try several different things but I need to return to do that, which I will. I had the seafood combination. The cod and shrimp are fried but it wasn't overly battered and was cooked perfectly. The serving size is generous but not overly abundant. My sister had a steak, which she liked, and their appetizers were pretty good (fried pickles, tater tots, pork rinds). The service was very good. read more

I used to love this place! But, I tried to call in an order for pickup at 12:39am and I was told the kitchen was closed because it's been slow all day!On a Saturday? If you know this place, you know that was a lie. I even reassured them I would be there before 1am. If the business closes at 1am, then the kitchen should close at 1am. I had just gotten off from work and wanted an order of chicken wings...that's it. Nothing from the grill. Nothing that anyone would have to chop or cut. Just the deep fryer would have been used. Pretty decent mom & pop place. Food is good, drinks are not expensive and are made right and it seems pretty clean! Only downfall is the stares by the regulars when you walk in and the possessive nature of those who play pool - not letting others get in on a game. read more

I have always passed by this place and I finally got to try it. I went on a Tuesday around 3:00 and my sister and I entered. It was small and hot in there, but the atmosphere was welcoming and chill. We got service immediately since no one was eating, only drinking at the bar. We both ordered wraps, the club and buffalo chicken, with a side of fries and lattice chips. The fries and homemade chips were deliciously and well seasoned, the wraps were also tasty. The only problem was the portion size. The wraps barely had food in it so there was a lot of leftover tortilla , about a handful of the sides were served, and the size of the drinks were very small. Great neighborhood pub with fantastic food, a interesting menu Ice cold beer and strong drinks. Friendly servers who remember your name and make you feel like a friend. Atmosphere that you don't usually find in this town is great.... Give them a try and support something worthwhile in Lehigh. Use to be Good times sports bar. Now it is one. Only reason I only gave it 4 stars is my 35 years in the restaurant business. You better blow me away with the time of my life to get a 5 star rating from me.
