Absolutley delicious! Service was great, in a cute little hpuse looking restaurant. Restrooms are sort of outside. Food was fantastic. We also had the conch chowder which was really good. Didn't get a pic. It's a tomato base, that tasted like tomato soup. The mushrooms were great and allowed for the natural flavor of the crab. Not overly seasoned but so delicious. Jan 17 2025. Worst meal I have had in Estero area in the last year. Mahi mahi was overcooked and tough. Mozzarella sticks seemed like ones they got from Publix, through flour on them and fried them. Went to see THE Big ten championship . Called before and they said yes we are showing and sound will be on . Showed up and asks to make sure game was showing and sound was everywhere to gear since it was the game to watch.. they said yes. Sat down and game still not on tvs. But they said it will be and sound will be on. We told them if sound isn't on , we would prefer to go elsewhere . They said it will be and at least 2 waiters said that's the game to watch. They then had a live band which they didn't tell else about and they turned the sound on but not very loud so nobody could hear. Manager said after game started that sound was on and they could hear it . We were youngish with great hearing and the manager simply lied straight face to us?? It's a sports with the number 1 &2 ranked teams playing and they didn't even feature it which they said they would . Please do t go in Estero. Pretty positive experience today. I deviated from the buffalo chicken sandwich I tend to stick to and instead opted for a BBQ burger. The waitress was excellent at helping with the various sauces and jams on the burger and helping me leave out what I want didn't want. We each had one and as our friends showed up, had everyone at least try one all saying we should send them back, but it took close to a half an hour after ordering these to get them and they did have food we would be eating outside at the golf course outing! The onion rings were good, I wish it came with a sauce besides ketchup. The chicken salad was a little dry, and the thousand island was thick with mayo, but the croutons were really good. Went at 9:30 pm, not busy at all. Food was terrible, fries not even edible. Cold and hard. Onion soup was so hot and even after 10 minutes I could not eat it and the cheese was like Glue. Server never brought silverware, had to grab some off another table. Never came to see how the food was or ask if we needed a refill on drinks , which we did. All around bad experience. Came here on a Monday around 7. Lots of college kids work here and service can get bad fast. Our waiter was nice and attentive at first. Our food took forever I almost got up to look for our waiter. He then came around the corner and said he went to the kitchen to check on our food and it was coming up next. It's still took 15 more min. I think our waiter forgot and it sat for a while. They apparently have 2/1 drinks all day. My mvp margarita was very sweet I asked to change it for another flavor, I was told no. The burger was good and the fries nice and crisply. My husband got chicken tenders with fries and coleslaw. He enjoyed everything and we especially liked the honey mustard sauce haha we dipped out fries in it. I just remembered we had to ask for silverware when we got our food. I hate reminding the waiters to get us silverware. It should be on the table or given to us as we sit down. I ordered through door dash from the Estero - Stoneybrook Duffy's and spoke to a hostess (purposely leaving out name) from Duffy's who confirmed my order. Order arrives wrong. and all Duffy says "contact door dash and get a refund." manager and hostess can't find order even though I read them everything from receipt. they took no responsibility for the order not being correct Door Dash doesn't prepare & pack order for delivery. My alternative was to drive over there and reorder. if I could have done that in the first place I would have & not used DoorDash. This Duffy's location needs a lot of help in service both preparing, serving & customer service. Duffy's in Fort Myer on Tamimami Is the best. read more
