My friends have had a long running joke that this is my favorite restaurant. What I can't tell them is that it actually is. Great food, service, and atmosphere. I really love eating here. Worst place I've actually ever been too, I'd tell you how the food was but after 2.5 hours( not kidding) I never got it so I couldn't tell you. First time visit to Beef O' Brady's. We tried the hamburger (It was a special on Mondays) and the Steak Burrito. The burger was well cooked and the bun was fresh. The fries were crisp and golden brown. The meat was lightly seasoned but not juicy. The burrito was alright but nothing special. Onions, green peppers, and steak. Server was very friendly and brought us a sample of the "poblano" sauce as it was part of the steak burrito prior to us ordering. All in all, I would return for a second time to try something different on the menu. read more

I haven't been to a beef o'brady's in a long time so when I learned there was one closer to home I had to go try it out. My fiancé and I ordered the chips and queso which came out fresh. I loved their homemade chips that I got by accident. I ordered the Philly cheese steak with onion rings and my fiancé ordered the cheeseburger with fries. He loved his cheeseburger and said it was one of the best one he's had in a long time. The philly cheese steak was so good and had lots of cheese. I'll be back to try more of the menu. read more

The end of last month, I took my grandson for a special birthday meal. We waited 45 minutes for our very simple and quick cooking order to be delivered to our table!! He ordered the pizza from the Kid's Menu. He took one bite and was asking for his dessert. I thought he was just excited for some cake and ice cream.... he is five now. The waitresses delivered his cake to the table and sang Happy Birthday. He was embarrassed, of course, but enjoyed the attention. I saw no need in throwing away an entire kid sized pizza and asked for a box to take it home for him. While boxing up the pizza, I sampled a very small bit of pepperoni and crust. I then knew why he was not impressed with the pizza.... it tasted like shrink wrap plastic had been left on it while it cooked! I informed the waitress and I had all intentions of leaving the now boxed pizza with them. In comes the manager. She leans over my grandson and asks, "You didn't like the pizza? You ate ALL of IT!" Of course, he looked at her like she was crazy and told her "NO!" I opened the box to show her what was left. I do not like being accused of trying to get away with eating something and not paying for it.... especially with the inference of using my grandchild to accomplish the freebie! I have no intentions of going back and would suggest to anyone that prefers good service, good food, and good manners from an establishment to stay away!!! read more

Friendly staff, I had taken the kids for lunch not very busy at all. Some of the servers seemed a little confused on what they we're supposed to be doing and what was going on. I ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich Nashville style it wasn't even edible. Took two bites it was so rubbery I couldn't finish. I didn't complain but no one asked why I didn't eat it. My son had the chicken tacos and his chicken was the same on one of them. Not sure what is going on there but seems like it needs better management. read more

Timing was not great. Called the night before to tell the staff a large party was coming in at 2pm. They don't take reservations but we wanted to make sure they knew we were all coming. We were accommodated with seating at 2pm. It took about 30 minutes to get all the drinks out. At 2:45 our appetizer order was taken. At 3:00 our order was taken. At 3:30 our entrees came out. I'm not sure why it took so long for the waitress to ask for our order. read more

I love Beefs, but this time I really had a huge problem with this place. Got the big catch and wings. The fish was way too salty and hard. The rice was hard and the broccoli was cold. This was the worst food we have had in a long time. The St Louis ribs were so tough that you couldn't cut it with a knife. Sent them back. We also had a grilled chicken sandwich and it was bad also. Grilled chicken sandwich was steamed and not grilled. We have eaten at a Beef O Brady's in south Florida and it was much better. If changes aren't made this restaurant will not be in business for long. We will not return. read more

Really looked like a good place to stop for dinner passing through Starke. The Surf N Turf! Don't waste your time. Small steak with 5 small shrimp. The steak came out undercooked and broccoli was cold in the center. Not a fan of paying $14.99 for it. Additionally, my dinner salad was average. It could have used a bit more lettuce however Italian dressing was pretty good. Overall, the meal was disappointing. Not going back. It is clearly more sports bar than restaurant. Stopped here on the way to Jacksonville. It's honestly not the worst beefs is every to. It was a decent quick dinner and beat your typical fast food. Service was a bit slow and it was very loud in here. Beefs is generally loud though so I can't knock them for that. The food was good and fresh, place seemed fairly clean too. Worst service ever! We were sat by one person, another brought us our drinks, then another one came 30 minutes later to take our order only because we flagged someone down. We were told our waitress had just got to work. 42 minutes later our food arrived, it was warm but not hot and left a lot to be desired. I would have left after 15 minutes or so after sitting there with menus closed if not for my daughter wanting to eat there for her birthday. I really had high hopes for a new restaurant in Starke, but this place did not make the cut. My husband and I went to grab a few drinks and some dessert before a movie, and it was all downhill once we sat at the bar. My husband ordered an old fashioned... The bartender put club soda in it???? I initially ordered a snakebite (similar to a Black and Tan)... The bartender didn't attempt to layer it and when I asked her about it she told me it's not supposed to layer because the Guinness is so heavy??? I then just asked her if I could have a Guinness. It took 10+ minutes for our drinks and I had to ask for a menu. I finally was able to order the molten cake with ice cream... It came out fast, but the ice cream's texture was like it had melted and was re-frozen. No one ever gave me utensils until I asked. Then we got the check and we were overcharged for the old fashioned.. Which was priced as a double Crown.. And the ice cream was a different price then the menu. Bartenders were nice, but not knowledgable about basic drinks. If you just want to grab a soda and some nachos this might be the place to go, but if you want anything more than that don't go here. I wasn't expecting service comparable to Ember's Grill, but seriously I do expect some basic service: fast drinks, knowledgable bartenders, and utensils for my food. I hope this place gets better because I feel really bad for the franchise owners since I don't see this place being open longer than six months. read more

Beef 'O' Brady's more like Beef 'O' Badys the only redeeming factor was the pizza We ordered 6 different dishes and they were all flavorless. The nachos barely had any cheese in them. The waitress took them back and added more cheese. When we got our bill, they charged us extra for the cheese that they failed to put on the dish in the first place. I felt like the old lady in the Wendy's commercial and found myself asking "where's the cheese" instead of where's the beef? The cheeseburger was a frozen patty that was burnt and so dry it could not be eaten. The grilled shrimp- dry, flavorless. The rice - unsalted and overcooked. Save your time, approximately 1.5 hours @ a non-busy time, and save your money. Do not eat here. Oh, by the way, the sign outside proudly boasts "under new management"...maybe they need to try again! read more

Take Out- what we ordered: 12 boneless mild wings with a side order of curly fries. 1 'deconstructed' bunless burger, "all the way" that came with quinoa and a SIDE salad. What we got: 12 wings were okay, side order of fries was the smallest amount of fries I've ever seen.. two larger clumped curlys (you know what I'm talking about), and a couple of extra strewn fries. The deconstructed bunless burger, quinoa and side salad all came in one little container which tells you portion size. The side 'salad' was literally a handful of iceberg lettuce thrown next to the burger (I actually thought it was the burger lettuce at first until I saw a different kind, romaine, underneath the burger patty). That's it, some iceberg lettuce, and a small amount at that. The quinoa was very tasty and seasoned well but that was also a pretty small amount as well. The burger that I ordered all the way had no cheese.. it was a thin burger patty slapped with onion, tomato and pickle on the side. Maybe it just doesn't come with cheese, but it would have been nice to have been asked. To top it off, there was one set of plastic silverware in the bag. I wouldn't have complained about that but it just seems like the icing on the cake. I don't often post negative reviews, in fact this may be my first in Yelp, but you would think a business as new as this would try a little harder. We have eaten in a couple times and that has been decent, though their service could use A LOT of work, which is expected, but I will never order takeout from them again! read more
