The vibes and atmosphere were absolutely gorgeous. They're already known for great lunch and dinner, but my family and I went for brunch and it was so yummy--mimosa flights were amazing, the breakfast tower was perfect to share, and the prices were great. If you're looking for your next brunch spot, this is it.

Parking: Went here after a show at the Majestic Theatre - parked in a garage (not free). Interior: Modern, stylish, very Instagrammable. But smelled funny inside - had a strange, unpleasant scent. Service: Excellent and attentive. Food: Just okay and not memorable. Drinks: Just okay. Overall: Yeahhhh...definitely won't be coming back.

We went for a girls night and boy was this a cool spot! Definitely social media friendly. The drinks were a lot better than we expected! You must try the Downtown Buzz or the Bee Cool! They all had unique names - really cool. My drink has blueberry boba - really good!! Definitely recommend and the food was not bad. I loved my food and the dessert fountain we recommend! We all were going crazy over a little cotton candy . Note: there was valet service right outside that we had to pay for so take that into account when visiting.

Hands down one of the best Happy Hours I've been to. I had this on my list of places to visit while in Dallas from tik tok & Yelp research. This was a hit that i don't regret. Happy Hour ends at 7 i think. Surprisingly, we were the only patrons there. The staff were cool ! The food & drinks were even better. I've never had Boba on a frozen margarita! The shrimp balls were soooo good & i just had to order one more before leaving . Everything was delicious !

Beehive - A Cute Spot with Great Food & Photo Ops Beehive is such a charming spot, perfect for photos and a relaxed dining experience! Just a heads-up--parking is a bit of a hassle, but that's expected in downtown. We arrived around 2:30 PM for happy hour, and it wasn't busy at all, which was a pleasant surprise. We ordered a few appetizers: volcano shrimp balls (a must-try!), calamari (solid choice), edamame (could use a bit more salt), and lettuce wraps (a little spice would have elevated them). For drinks, we had an Old Fashioned, a Mule, and a third cocktail (name escapes me, but it was good!). All were well-made and enjoyable. For entrées, we had: Scallops & Brussels Sprouts - Cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. Salmon & Broccoli - Fresh and well-seasoned. Steak Bites - Tender and delicious. Overall, everyone enjoyed their food, and the atmosphere made it even better. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

This is a super mellow spot. I saw a lot of couples there but I was there with my family and I saw a group dinner party. The service was great. They made a mistake on my kid's meal and corrected it quickly. The drinks were great and food flavorful.

Rita flight and cafe Americano coffee! Yum!

The ambiance food and service is nice. Decor is really cute/chic! Our waitress Crystal was super sweet and attentive! We had steak and eggs along with the Rita flight. That steak was DELICIOUS; the Asian teriyaki flavor was LIFE! Rita flight I would order again. The MAIN thing that I did not like was that the place was EMPTY and they sat us in the very back of the restaurant with their stinky RR plumbing. Next time I will let it be known that I don't want to sit back there if it's plenty of tables up front in an empty place! It definitely could've gotten 5 stars but the smell and seating threw me off!

I visited Dallas for the very first time and came up with a list of places to check out. Beehive was one of them. I'm a sucker for a nice aesthetic and good music so I was pleasantly surprised. It's definitely a cute place to visit with your girlies to catch up or if you just wanna get cute for a night out. I got the chicken lettuce wraps and calamari which were actually really good! The espresso martini on the other hand tasted like Yoo-Hoo. Yes, a malty chocolate milk. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad but it did not taste like an adult beverage. My friend ordered a different drink and hers also tasted like it was lacking alcohol. Overall, I would come back but I would go somewhere else for drinks until I knew this issue was resolved!

Super cute boutique-style restaurant in downtown! Feathers were everywhere, giving it a whimsical, almost bohemian vibe, and purple neon signs that cast a gorgeous purple glow throughout the place that really added to the atmosphere. It was like stepping into a dreamy little hideaway! As for food, I'd rate it an 8/10 overall. For my main course, I had the Wagyu burger it was juicy and flavorful. The brussels sprouts were delicious, crisp on the outside and tender inside, so I'd give them a solid 8/10 as well. For appetizers, I tried the spicy edamame and calamari. The edamame was *amazing*, so flavorful with just the right kick of spice. However, the calamari wasn't quite up to par -- it was a bit tough and chewy, which was a disappointment. The service, however, was excellent. Our server was attentive, friendly, and gave us great recommendations. I do hope this place can continue to thrive because it's a hidden gem, but I didn't see any other tables with guest. Fingers crossed they manage to stick around! Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area for the ambiance alone.

While in downtown Dallas, one must attempt to explore all the recommendations from locals. My sweet friend and I were overdue for a dinner date -- she picked this place because she had it bookmarked for a while. A M B I A N C E Two words to describe the decor upon entering: trendy and gorgeous. The vibes are all there. I could tell this is the spot to be at for brunch on a Sunday. It's romantic, intimate, chic, and just overall thoughtful. Whoever executed the vision understood the assignment. F O O D We ordered mostly from the Happy Hour menu: Truffle Fries, Bao Buns, Calamari, and Volcano Shrimp Balls. Good small bites while sipping on cocktails. I'm sure the entrees from the long menu are good but we didn't order anything from there so I can't say for certain. We had a few cocktails each and I just love how their drinks are so artsy and decorative. S E R V I C E Our main server was training someone so we had interaction with two young ladies. They both were attentive and checked on us at least once every 30 minutes. It was a low key Wednesday evening so it wasn't busy at all but nonetheless, all the staff running the front of the house were pleasant. Really cool experience if you're in downtown Dallas. Check these guys out!

i hate to leave negative reviews, but this place is absolutelyyy not worth what you pay for (we ordered almost $400 worth of food so i have a pretty good lay of the land). 90% "vibes" and the vibes are really just some cheap LED lights and stick-on wall decals. the $12 sushi (which was fridge-cold...) and caesar salads looked straight out of 7/11 and tasted no better. neither soy sauce, chopsticks, nor (liquid) wasabi comes out automatically, which tells you a lot off bat. to be fair, the meat looked and tasted good, but the sides were lackluster (left a $8 side of mashed potatoes essentially untouched). and, they don't even give you a cookie for birthdays/special occasions. we ordered the dessert flight and got a mess of a tiktok special that tasted and looked like straight flavor syrup. the service was GREAT though, everyone was attentive though the food took a while to come out. eat downtown, but maybe not at this sysco-ridden shop.

The front side of the menu!

The food was great! We sat at the bar and had great service! The overall experience was great! Such a cute place! We will be back!

We came in near closing time, but Emilia provided us great service and stayed attentive even though they were clearly packed. We were seated at a table near the door, and unfortunately it had a vomit smell. Whatever it was, my friend could not stand it and had to get up and step away from the table. We first thought the culprit was the paper drink coasters, but then the staff removed the door mat near us later on, so maybe someone puked on it and the smell lingered, even after it was cleaned up. Clear Mizu ($16): This has Sakura vermouth and bitters, so we ordered it. It tasted like straight up gin and was not good. It was actually one of the rare times my husband could not finish his drink. Kyoto Sunset ($15): This one wasn't bad and tasted like honeydew. The ingredients include honeydew Calpico, so that makes sense. Johnny Walker Black ($16): This was our friend's drink, which I think was just coke and Johnny Walker. Nothing special about the taste either. Given the smell and so-so/terrible cocktails, we will not be coming back or taking our friends here.

Overall: 4.7/5 [dine in]…read more Service was amazing! Our waitress Emilia was super attentive throughout the whole night. The drinks have unique flavor combinations that actually deliver and the happy hour is phenomenal. We're talking 50% off select appetizers and entrees, $12 Over the Counter cocktails, $10 classics, and BOGO ponies and shots. They also have daily specials Tuesday through Thursday and Sunday. The space has serious speakeasy vibes so give your eyes a few seconds to adjust when you walk in from the bright light outside. Icelandic Hot Dog ($3.50 HH): Tiny single bite TX wagyu dog that was cute but hard to share. Tasted pretty similar to a regular hot dog. Tostada ($4 HH): Kanpachi on a blue corn tortilla. I'd recommend getting 2 since it gets messy the moment you take a bite and I didn't really get a proper taste of it because of that. Caviar Chip ($6.50 HH): A generous dollop of caviar on a kettle cooked potato chip with creme fraiche underneath. A yummy combo but honestly something you could recreate at home. East Coast Oyster ($2.75 HH): My husband got a single oyster to try and thought it was pretty good. London Fog ($12 HH): Milk washed London dry gin, earl grey, aveze, dry curacao, and vanilla orange honey. I loved this cocktail. I don't usually like gin and find earl grey too strong on its own but this combination was perfection. It was also served in the cutest tea cup with a yummy cookie on the side. Morocco ($12 HH): Moroccan mint tea, terralta reposado, rye, fernet branca menta, and agave. Not my favorite compared to the London Fog but my husband absolutely loved it and said it was one of the best cocktails he has ever had. He even said it would have been his signature cocktail at our wedding. I was shocked but to each their own. Confit'd and Fried Chicken Wings ($7.50 HH): The most disappointing item of the night. Came with 6 wings tossed in a Korean wing sauce that tasted very close to buffalo. The wings themselves were average. Skip these. Beef Cheek Tacos ($12 HH): Came with 3 tacos that were some of the best we've had in a while. Delicious, flavorful, no notes. Highly recommend. Soft Serve Marg ($12 HH): Like a boozy dole whip that doubled as dessert. Not too heavy but not super strong either. A fun way to end the meal. Pekin Tom ($20): Duck fat washed wild turkey 101, lapsang peach liqueur, absinthe, and pecan smoke. Not part of the happy hour menu. They smoke it right in front of you which is a cool presentation but the taste was pretty average. APO Burger ($10 HH) + Truffle Fries Sub ($7): The truffle fries felt a bit steep but they ended up being worth it. Super crispy, delicious, and addictive. The burger was cut in half which made it easy to share and it came with a TX wagyu patty, bruleed fontina, Spanish tomato spread, garlic whip, and chive. Burst of flavors, melt in your mouth wagyu, absolutely chef's kiss. We will 100% be coming back. It's a perfect spot for an intimate date night.

During my second visit, I tried the Bitter Lemon Soda, which was also very good--simple, refreshing, and without any overpowering flavors. I actually enjoyed The Bowen House so much that I went twice during my weekend trip to Dallas. It has an almost speakeasy-like atmosphere, with low lighting and a cozy, historic feel. It's also in a very walkable area, which made it easy to visit on foot. There is some parking available, although I would say it's somewhat limited. I don't think it would be the best spot for a very large group, but it would be perfect for a few friends getting together. I also appreciated that you can order a drink while waiting for a table or bar seating, which made the wait feel much more enjoyable. Parking was a challenge, but we opted for valet and, at only $10, it was totally worth it! Bar Eden is a little smaller and has more of an intimate, speakeasy vibe, while Paradiso has a gorgeous, lively atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the happy hour specials were perfect for afternoon drinks--cocktails under $10!
