A hidden gem. I love Thai places where "spicy Thai" is real. I did not need to add any extra spices to my dish but added an extra spice level. It was exactly the level 10 I needed! I decided on takeout and chose their Green Papaya Salad, Dynamite Wings and Sticky Rice for tonight. Another night I had their Papaya Salad and Bbq Chicken Combo. This place is my favorite place to go when I'm craving good Thai food. It's absolutely off the beaten path from Bend. I would recommend to anyone traveling from the south of 97 to stop by here on your road trip. I live in Sunriver and I choose to travel here most times instead of going into Bend for my Thai food cravings. The dishes have never been disappointing and they will cater to your palate if you ask nicely. The green papaya salad is my go to here. I like the way they chop up the papaya and also the ingredients they use in the dish. I always ask for a level 7 because I like it extra spicy. It makes me happy they never complain and give me the level of spice I'm used to. The Dynamic Wings was the perfect combination with it and sticky rice. This place is a must if you are needing a good spot to go to on your way into Bend or leaving it. Also if you're living in the area, it's a great option if you're looking something delicious. My wife and I have eaten at Beelicious on several occasions. The foods have always been fresh and delicious. I haven't tried everything on the menu, but the meals I have ordered have been great. After being on the road for a while, you can only eat so much brewery/pub food, and I was really craving something fresh. When I spotted this 5-star spot on Yelp, I knew we had to give it a try. At first, we thought about ordering take-out, but as soon as we stepped inside, the ambiance was so peaceful and relaxing that I knew we had to stay and dine in. We ordered the Green Papaya Salad ($13)--a vibrant mix of tomatoes, garlic, lime juice, carrots, papaya, green beans, ground peanut, fresh vegetables, and roasted peanuts tossed with their homemade sauce. We also shared the Mixed Seafood Drunken Noodles ($24)--a generous combination of shrimp, scallops, calamari, and mussels with rice noodles, garlic, onions, basil, bell peppers, tomatoes, carrots, all coated in their flavorful kee mao sauce. Delivery was great -- fast, hot, and well packaged. Since this was delivery, this review is only about the food. We tried the Yellow Curry with chicken, Thai shrimp dumplings, and fresh rolls. The sauces (peanut, plum, and soy-based) all had nice flavor but were much runnier than what we usually expect. The Yellow Curry also tasted good, but was more of a thin soup than the thick, creamy curry we're used to. The fresh rolls were disappointing -- not closed on both ends, mostly just rolled-up lettuce, and seemed to be missing the usual small glass noodles inside. Overall, flavors were decent and everything was fresh, but the texture and consistency issues made the meal feel a bit off. A solid delivery option, but not quite at the standard of our favorite Thai spots. read more

We waited a bit longer for lunch to get Thai instead of the usual American food joints along the freeway and it was well worth it. Had the cashew nut curry, tofu spring rolls and chicken red curry. This place is a big surprise in the little town of LaPine Oregon. I've had Thai Food in Bend and all over the world including Thailand and it doesn't get better! We ordered potstickers, pork sticky rice and I love Larb and this didn't disappoint. Whenever we're driving up Highway 97 we try to stop here. The service is fast and the tastes are great. Advertised as the best Thai Food in La Pine, that's true; but I've had better elsewhere. That said, it was nice to find a Thai restaurant after two weeks of travel where Thai was not an option. The restaurant is clean and there was plenty of seating. Parking was not an issue. Our server was attentive and friendly. My water glass was frequently topped off (the water is wonderful). The noodles in the pad thai were underdone and tough to chew while the sauce was overpowering. My dish was missing peanuts and a lime. Husband said his curry as tasty. read more

The Boat Noodles with chicken was very good with a drinkable broth that had great flavor. Service with efficient and prompt but I should have traded the fork on the table for chopsticks that are better for noodle soup. We drove in from California to stay in La Pine and we got take out from here on a whim. It was great Thai food! I got the Tom Kha noodle soup and my boyfriend got the Pad See Ew and both were great. I liked that the noodles in mu soup came separately from the broth so they didn't get soggy. Would come again! read more
