I got gel for the first time and wasn't crazy about it because of how thick it looked on. And the color I chose made it worse because it required multiple coats to get the right red. Trang was very sweet and did her best but after a few hours, I just couldn't get used to how my nails looked so I went back and asked them to redo them and this time I chose a different color that didn't require as many coats, so it wasn't as bulky looking. Trang refused to accept any payment for doing the job a second time. I still tipped her but her attitude was very kind and understanding and my satisfaction was her priority. read more

I definitely do not recommend this place , i came in and asked for a new set and with a much shorter length, i normally go to swuanee to get my nails done but had no time to make the drive today. she started off by taking off my nails and tried to remove them with another tip which made my actual nail hurt, i then asked her to try another method and she soaked my hands in acetone for over 30 minutes... then would take them out and soak them again until i said enough because my skin started to LITERALLY BURN.... the shape wasn't the best , and then when it was time to pay she told me it was 86 dollars .... keep in mind i asked for much shorter nails than i've ever gotten anywhere and the quality of the set she did wasn't the best , i told her how my other nail salon does much cheaper and way way better . this place is not good, burned MY SKIN with acetone and my hands feel so so dry. read more

When we called the manager they did not want to acknowledge that the job was not well done. He wanted her to come in with the nails and glue them back on. We asked for a different service instead since obviously the nails were done bad the first time and they refused. DO NOT COME HERE!!!! Entered the shop at 6:30 and some how it was just me ( a female ) alone in the store with a male with a tattoo on his forearm. I proceeded to tell him to change the shape and the design and he would shake his head yes and then continue to do my nails the way he wanted. I told him he needs to fix it and he told me the store is closed. I proceeded to tell him this was a horrible job being done and then he ended up calling the cops on me stating I was refusing to pay which was not the case I came for a specific service and of course I'm going to pay for a specific service. he locked me in the store with him, but he was the one calling the cops on me refusing me to actually even pay him. He wanted me to speak to a manager that was 20 minutes away. cops came and said he should have never done that. I had a pedicure done here today. And it was totally a chop shop. The lady was rude to me who was doing my nails. Dropped the buffer for my feet on the ground and proceeded to still use it on my feet. Didn't remove calluses like requested. Didn't speak to me or attempt to the entire time. They want $35 for a "deluxe" pedicure that took less than 20 mins. It was such a waste of my time and money. Stay away. Meanwhile I see a gentleman across from me getting his feet done and getting the full foot scrub down like normal and dead skin removed. And that's what I was wanting. read more

I really like this salon, however I don't ever want to go back because of the constant upselling. Please people just provide the services requested! I end up falling for the upselling every time I come in. I tell myself ahead of time, "Don't fall for it!" Then a few months later I fall for it again! My daughter and I went in for a fill in (her) and a gel mani (me). My daughter waited a little too long to get her acrylic fill-in done so she had to get a new set. No biggie. Two of the nails broke within the first few days. She broke a total of three nails in two weeks. She has never broken a nail before!! Additionally, we chose this place because they had matte top coat. The top coat was NOT matte. More like a satin finish. AND the tech didn't get it all the way to the bottom of her polish on half her nails, so there was a shiny strip beneath the "matte" part. The gel polish they applied looked pretty terrible. Very lumpy and had some divots/craters in it. The woman in charge looked at my daughter's hand and basically said how good they looked ... she looked right at all those mistakes and said it looked good lol. Her full set with gel polish and matte top coat was around $40. My gel mani ... the tech was very rough when removing my existing gel polish. So much so that I broke a nail for the first time since switching to gel polish manis. She did not paint all the way down to the cuticle. She did not buff the bottom of my nail bed. This led to the polish lifting within a matter of DAYS. $30 for the gel mani. We spent $70 on two bad jobs by two different people and the person in charge said it looked good. Came back to get my moms nails fixed after they didn't take her gel polish off from her old nails, came for a regular polish very clumpy came off instantly and trying to get them to fix it was not worth even coming back. They were very rude about fixing them for her, saying they didn't do it they did it right. I gave them a second chance as Anyone deserves.... It only got worse I went to get a massage The lady had no clue what I was asking I had no clue what she wanted me to do.... Each place and person is different so I was trying to communicate, but it was a struggle. I ask her to be a little less aggressive, that lasted about 5 min, in a tiny room, old table she had to move to get on the other of me ..... timer was placed at my left ear and loud,she said we are not busy, it's quiet. No music overhead or sound machine, so I tried to zone out the timer and enjoy the quiet. That last maybe 10 minutes at most. The salon phone began to ring, text alerts and customers coming in, door bell is loud, drills going for nails. Who could relax in that? I even mentioned music or sound machine ,or a way to block out the salon noise. I could hear the person in the next room & the ladies conversation at the nail table. Very little room between the door and the row of nail tables with techs. When I say I could hear these things they were not light or at a distance. It was all as clear as if they were in the room! These rooms for facials - massages are just as if you were in an old medical office. Seemed as if they were placed in the salon after the original and not much more than partitions, very thin walls & door. I wished I would have had my ear buds. Then a lady with a broom & dust pan OPENED THE DOOR, didn't knock just came in. Luckily I was lying on my front or the salon would have seen more than any of us wanted!! She said sorry and shut the door, it wasn't locked, not sure why and I said loudly she should learn to knock! My massage lady said sorry about 3 times and then locked the door. At that point I wanted my 70 minute massage to be over! I just wanted to leave. I was more anxious & far from relaxed than when I walked in. I could have spent that 100 dollars in a much more relaxing way than here! I wrote a google review, received a quick response from someone, no name was left. They asked me to call so they could make things "right". I emailed them to ask for name and that was over 4 days ago. No response back. I emailed the one located on their website. I guess as long as they stay busy they really don't care about reviews. I have a place I used years ago and will return there for massage, pedicure & manicures. They make you feel welcome, friendly, very clean and prices are better as well! I have another gift certificate and I would prefer to have the money. I've had good and bad experiences here. The last time was not great. The girl tried getting an ingrown nail out and cut me and it got infected for a week. Then the gel polish didn't have enough coats and you could see the line through where my toenail was growing underneath. I probably won't go back. read more

My first visit was delightful! They did both my nails & feet at the same time. I was very happy. The next time I went back there was a guy there who I'm guessing is the "design king ". He was very impatient and was burning my fingers. When I told him to be gentle with me he told me to relax. He kept pulling my arms and hands and being rough so I asked for someone else. I got a lady and she did fine but I could tell she was less experienced. The most consistent issue I've had is that the gel Polish doesn't match the SNS on my feet. I always got the excuse about them being the same numbers but just different because one was gel and the other SNS. Ok, so I went back a few more times. The time before last my nail Polish broke within a few days of my appointment. I went back to get it repaired and they charged me. The last time I went I asked for Cindy to do my nails. She was in a hurry and did not do a good job at all. One of the nails cracked so I had it replaced. Then another nail cracked in the middle of my nail bed. I kept telling her to take her time or do other clients & I'd wait for her to do a good job with me. She insisted that she'd get done with me. I went into this salon in hopes of having a different experience than that of those with poor reviews. However, I have to agree with all those poor reviews. I went in for a gel mani and pedi and not only got the rude customer service (I mean really rude) but also the add ons after I asked for the basic package. Not to mention the horrible job done with the polish on my toes. The last coat of polish she rushed on, therefore it didn't cover the entire nail so looks ugly. As for my gel mani, the lady got mad and walked away into a room where she closed the door and I could just hear her talking. I asked the lady doing my pedi if she was mad because I asked her to get the edges on my nails good and she said she's just tired. Lady doing my pedi asked if I wanted her to finish my hands since the other lady painted one nail and then walked away mad. The lady ended up coming back and did make sure to leave my nails the way I like them but after clearly getting mad and being rude. Additionally, my husband also got a mani and they didn't even cut his nails. They just filed them when they could have clearly cut them. Horrible experience and will not be going back.
