2019 they made my son 2 cakes for not only a great price but they looked great. After that it seemed when I went back cake prices were doubled. I have gotten cakes from them for the past few years and it seems each time they mess up colors, designs etc... even cakes they made and replicated. The warm smell of vanilla and fresh goodies let's you know you walked into a real bakery, not this fake plastic tasting cookies you tend to see in most places. We got a two tier cake yellow cake with fresh strawberries and blueberries and custard. The decoration was all buttercream and all delicious. (Fondant is pretty, but usually doesn't taste good and people just peel it off.) The prices are really reasonable, especially for the quality of design and ingredients. The bakery was cute but the cake was not as I requested. They told me on pick up day that they didn't have a wedding cake designer. I wanted a cake with 7 inch top and 12 inch bottom. However, it worked out though it was only 3 people that enjoyed the 7 inch part we paid $40 dollars for dry cake. It was dry and not moist either. The flowers were pretty on top of the cake. My mother-in-law turned 90. I hope others have a better experience and the cake was very dry they need to work on that and get tips from other cake bakers or go to YouTube. And get a wedding cake designer quick. Won't go back! read more

Came in and picked up a few items. Mr. F only ordered pastries and cookies. He did not order the breads, which actually looked pretty good. People in the bakery were very friendly and eager to answer any questions. Pastries and cookies ranged from okay to good. Nothing really stood out except the jelly doughnuts. They was HORRIBLE. The jelly to doughnut ratio was way off and the dough was not sweet. See the attached picture of what 2 of Mr. F's brunch guests bit into... ATTENTION DO NOT SPEND MONEY HERE I would like to say this, Bridgewater Bakery is a joke. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I use to work at the bridgewater bakery and let me tell you, everything is fake and store bought. My mother and I use to go to the bridgewater bakery almost every week after I got out of school to get something sweet, but that was when the old owner Donna owned the bakery. Donna was amazing and you truly got what you were paying for. But the new owner Emilia is absolutely a total jerk. I got a job at the Bridgewater Bakery, I worked for Emilia for 6 months. Emilia use to pick her favorites when it came to her workers and I wasn't one of her favorites, I am 16 years old and I guess because I was the youngest working at the bakery everyone thought it was ok to pick on me and Emilia use to pick on me and talk about me behind my back, it's shocking that a 40 something year old women would take more time talking trash about a 16 year old then trying to fix her bakery. But while working at the bakery I had also found out the lies about bridgewater bakery as well. Emilia doesn't make half of the stuff she sells, including the donuts, apple sticks, danishes, bread and etc. she bought it from another bakery and resold it for a higher price. Emilia also never followed the health code either, there's rat traps everywhere in that place that are hidden and she refused to have a health inspector at the bakery. The fillings that are used for pies,cakes and etc are store bought from Walmart. She does not make the filling at all, The reasoning as to why the cakes and cupcakes are so dry is because Emilia will make massive amounts of "dough" for the cakes and will leave it in the freezer for months and will only make a fresh batch when the old one runs out. And for the cupcakes the cupcakes stay in the show case for weeks and will not get restocked until they run out either. For thanksgiving "Emilia made" mini pies (they were store bought may I add) and did not refrigerate them, so they grew mold on them, that day some guy had bought a mini pie and underneath that pie was the one with mold on it. Emilia saw the mold and got mad at me and said "your lucky no one bought that because you would have been in deep trouble" as if it was my fault. There is many more hidden secrets about the bakery so please folks don't spend your money here. I always wanted to help the bakery, and always had new ideas for the bakery but she never wanted to take my ideas. I was treated absolutely disgusting when I was working here and then got fired for sticking up for myself. May I add that she payed me under the table and I also never got paid the right amount of money I earned. I was paid in cash so it wasn't taxes! read more

I didn't order it well ahead of time and I needed it the same day. I had a cake in mind (round cake with pink buttercream swirls), no one took my order/had this type of cake. I was passing my the Bridgewater mall and was looking for nearby bakeries and came across this place. I wanted to give my final try and went to this bakery, right before closing time! They didn't have this type of cake either. But, when I explained my situation to Donna, she immediately understood what I was talking about and custom made this cake that very instant. We have ordered from this bakery multiple times within the past months or so and everything is always superb. The deliveries always show up when they say they will and the quality of the product is top notch. Everything is always packaged so nicely. It is evident that a lot of pride and care goes into their entire process. We received our order yesterday and was so excited about the food that we didn't even notice that the muffins we ordered were missing. Fast forward to today...
