First let me start with the positives. The sweet potato fries were delicious. Those paired with their "awesome sauce" were perfect. The inside was fun, and very clean. Now for the negative. The service was horrible. The worst I have had in a long time. We were the only table and had figured out drinks and what we wanted to eat. 10 minutes go by and our waitress was still talking with the bartender. I got up to go to the bathroom in hopes it would trigger her to come take our drink orders. Nope. After a little while longer she finally came over. We had decided on food at the time so went ahead and put that in when she took our drink orders. She brought our food out, and then went back to talking with the bartender again and completely ignoring us. We needed new drinks so finally I got up to walk over there and ask her. She said, sorry I was too busy with TikTok. It was extremely frustrating. The burgers were ok. Not much flavor, and just seemed lacking and needed something else. Maybe someday we will give it another shot, but the lunch left a sour taste in our mouth and I highly doubt it.

I really like this bar-restaurant! Delicious menu, kids-friendly, beautiful patio and awesome staff! Highly recommended.

Pretzel was good nice and fresh and served 6

Oh My went and the server Kasandra was the worst we had ever had at Beerhead. Took 20mins to even get drinks, then never came back for 34mins cups empty and no order was put in yet. But out of the corner of my eye she was standing outside in back talking to another waitress! She even dropped food off at another table just feet from us but never stopped after us saying excuse me! She just kept walking then cleaned a table off inside. WOW! Sat at table waiting to get check at this point! Just wanted to go somewhere that we would be order and get our food.. not even crowded!

Peeps...Great ambience fireplace only downside the view is of the highway but foods good & the staff are friendly so definitely will comeback to try the pizza soon.

An unexpected loud place to which I will never return.

Saturday Lunch, Never again! I'm one of those older folks that simply cannot tolerate loud and noisy restaurants. We, septuagenarians, need peace and quiet not raucous loud music. I enjoy a conversation between bites while dining. My wife did not like the Pizza, and I left before finishing my second beer.

Great beer selections! The hazelnut stout is delicious! Pretzel is huge and definitely could feed 6 people. I thought their flight prices were reasonable $3/drink. The only thing I didn't like was the pizza. I'd say stick to the apps and burgers.

Mom and me having a great time hanging out.

Great pub to go for drinks or food! I stopped in with my mom for drinks since she lives nearby to check it out. The staff were very friendly and gave great service, the beer selection was incredible, cocktail list very nice, and food options looked good. We plan to return for live music on a Friday or Saturday! Per the previous review about cost, it's not a bar where you have $3 Coors Light, etc. There are plenty of $7 beers with many options that are higher priced. All the individual beer prices per flight pour are listed too. Based on the breweries they have on tap and by bottle/can, higher prices should be expected. This isn't a typical pub. You're not going for a Bud Light or a Blue Moon. It's about trying something new and learning about new beers/breweries. Expect to pay for it.

So I passed this place and thought someplace new has opened. I decided to try it tonight. I would have given it three and a half stars if half stars were an option. The place is very trendy and a basic sports bar kind of place. The noise level is between moderate to loud. The menu has a lot of bar food basics like pretzels and cheese, wings, fries and chili fries, etc. The entree menu is pizza and burgers with limited time specials (eg. meatloaf and chicken sandwich and bbq beef sliders). They have 50 beers on tap and 300 cans and beers and a huge selection of bourbons along with a full bar. They also have a different Brunch Menu. I had the Mushroom and Swiss burger and I can say it was huge and juicy. It was overall bland. I think a lot like Robert Irvine and my first thought was there was no seasoning. Like many mushroom and Swiss burgers I have had, the combination of those two flavors usually gives the burger much flavor. Not in this case. Overall it was a good experience and I will return and try the pizza. I did see a couple and it looks pretty tasty so time will tell. Give them a try if up in the Kings Island area.

Great beer selection and nice atmosphere. The food however is mediocre. It's also very loud and hard to hear inside.

IN A STRIP MALL. And honestly, I'm not mad about it. I'm always on the hunt for somewhere local, somewhere new, and somewhere that gives me an excuse to eat entirely too much food. The Cute Dimpled One somehow found Bucks Tavern on the World Wide Web. Apparently the internet isn't completely useless. We needed somewhere to grab some fuel before heading off for a Nippert at Night experience. Now here's the problem... The game didn't start until around 7:30. My bedtime is 8:30. So basically, this was going to be an extreme endurance event. THE ATMOSPHERE Bucks Tavern is tucked into a strip mall in Loveland. Parking wasn't a problem for us, although I'm guessing things could get a little more interesting during the busy times. From the outside? Meh. Then you walk inside... WAIT A MINUTE. The outside says strip mall. The inside says "somebody's uncle owns a cabin in the woods and has been collecting deer heads since 1974." Warm colors, plenty of seating, a fireplace with a deer head hanging above it, high tops, low tops, a fully stocked bar and TVs everywhere. And speaking of high tops... Who decided these tables were a good idea? You sit down and suddenly you're back in elementary school sitting at the Big Kids Table, except now your legs are dangling and you're wondering if you're going to need a step stool to get back down. I really liked the decor. It was comfortable, welcoming and had that neighborhood tavern feel. And there were plenty of people inside who clearly weren't first timers. The staff seemed to know several of the customers. That's a good sign. It had a little bit of a Cheers vibe. You know the kind of place where somebody walks in and three people yell, "HEY BOB!" That's what you want in a local tavern. Mrs. Patty L. was our server and she was fantastic. She kept my water full, which is basically the gold standard for me. #Score THE FOOD Mrs. Patti L stopped by and got us started with the Mozzaluna Breaded Cheese. Basically breaded mozzarella triangles with marinara. The cheese was creamy. The marinara was good. Plenty of food. But... $13? I'm going to need the mozzarella to start telling me its life story for that price. It wasn't bad at all. I just didn't think it was a $13 appetizer. The Mrs. ordered the 5 Mini Burgers. Her review? She likes the mini burgers. Same price range as a regular burger, but she likes having five little burgers staring back at her. And naturally, she didn't eat them all. Because apparently we ordered enough food to feed a small township. I started looking through the menu trying to find something different. Bucks has a pretty traditional tavern menu with burgers, sandwiches, Reubens, club sandwiches, brats, tenderloin, chicken, fish, salads, soups and desserts. But then I saw it... THE MEATLOAF SANDWICH. Ladies and gentlemen... WE HAVE A WINNER. MEATLOAF SANDWICH A "Signature Sandwich" they say. Homemade meatloaf, lightly grilled, on a telera bun with pork barbecue, fried onion straws and barbecue sauce. And crinkle-cut fries. When it hit the table my first thought was: "Holy crap. That's a lot of sandwich." My second thought was: "Well, I guess we're doing this." I am a BIG fan of meatloaf. My grandmother and mother both made great meatloaf, and despite years of trying, I have never managed to duplicate either one. So whenever I see meatloaf on a menu, I'm probably ordering it. This one did NOT disappoint. The bun was delicious. The meatloaf was excellent. Then you get the pork barbecue and barbecue sauce kicking in, and suddenly your taste buds are having a little meeting. It was messy. Not "grab a napkin" messy. I'm talking cut-the-sandwich-in-half, deploy-the-napkins, accept-your-fate messy. I have a big mouth. No comment necessary. It was a challenge. The crinkle-cut fries were also cooked perfectly. Crispy without being burnt. And yes... I ate the whole thing. I was absolutely stuffed. Which brings me to something I need to address with myself... I NEED TO STOP ORDERING AN APPETIZER. Every single time. I walk into a restaurant hungry and suddenly I'm like: "Yeah, we should probably get an appetizer." Then the food arrives and I'm sitting there thinking: "Who authorized this?" #SaveTheAppetizer THE GOOD STUFF Friendly service Clean restrooms Comfortable atmosphere Full-service bar Plenty of seating Lots of TVs for sports Food portions that don't leave you wondering where the rest went Local neighborhood feel Staff that actually seemed to know their regulars Bucks even advertises eight HD televisions and Sunday Ticket, so if you're looking for somewhere to watch a game, they clearly came prepared. They've also been around since 2009, s

So, seeing the building completely renovated and brought back to life was honestly amazing! We came during a fairly busy time of day, and the place was packed. Even so, we only waited about 15 minutes to be seated, which I thought was pretty great for a busy restaurant. I also really liked that they kept the industrial aesthetic throughout the space, it gave the restaurant a lot of character and made the renovation feel intentional. I also noticed that each of the tables had information about their social cornhole league, which I thought was a super fun touch! As for the food it was pretty standard in my opinion. I think if you order the pizza definitely split it as it is quite big, but the fried pickles were delicious! Overall I probably would come again.

If you are in Maineville/Kings Mills area -- or just like in breweries in interesting locations, check it out! We were seated after a short wait by the brewmaster, who also helped us select our beer. Amber ale for me and an IPA for husband. Our server was friendly and prompt, and the food came out quickly. It was pretty busy, being trivia night, but the staff seemed to have a handle on things! We ordered the Brussels and potato appetizer and it was great. It was large and honestly could almost have been dinner for us -- certainly could easily be shared by 4! We cleared the plate on our own though. I had the salmon sandwich with sweet potato fries. Very good, though I was so full from the appetizer so I just ate the salmon from the sandwich, and maybe 1/4 of the fries. Hubs got the burger with an egg on top either regular fries. He was happy with his choice. The brewery itself is very cool -- old brick factory, large wall-to-wall windows, super tall ceilings. We sat at a high top in the bar area which is quite large, though there is dining area. I think the bar area is more interesting looking though. The factory building (now loft apartments), the smoke stack, and the tower, all red brick, are striking looking. It's great the preserved this WWI / WWII era place. Lots of parking but was pretty full on Trivia night!
