My hopes weren't high for food at Great Wolf Lodge, but our meal at Lodge was pretty good. Was it pricey? Yes, but it was probably what one should expect at a place like this. As for the food, it was better than I expected. My lime chicken and rice bowl was pretty tasty. It had a good amount of chicken (and food overall) and was super fresh tasting. My husband said his steak frites were also delicious. My oldest said the chicken fingers were excellent and I can attest the fries were also great. My youngest didn't like the macaroni and cheese, though I thought it was really good - it reminded me of chick fil a/fish fry macaroni. The service was fine; I'm sure the servers deal with a lot of tired and stressed people and I didn't have super high expectations there either. The food came out pretty quickly and the staff were good about refilling our water. If you're looking for a real meal while you're at Great Wolf, it's a pretty good option. read more

There was a good amount of food that seemed to match the pricing / convenience of having a restaurant within the lodge. They didn't have many options for drinks on-tap so I did a fall themed cocktail that was pretty sweet. Food wise I didn't mind the appetizers but I really liked my buffalo mac and cheese dinner. Staff were super nice and the main chef even came out to ask about how we liked the food. We really loved our waitress Shari! Super personable and helpful with selecting food. It was nice to come here instead of venturing out of the lodge, especially when it's raining. The interior is pretty warm and cozy. read more

The Chili Lime Chicken Bowl is bland and flavorless. It's basically a bowl of rice with some shredded rotisserie chicken. No flavor. I even requested an extra cup of whatever dressing they put in it hoping to add some flavor, but it didn't help. Considering it's overpriced like everything else here ($23.99), it should have at least had flavor, even if it was a bad flavor at least it would have been something. Last night we got the Warm Cookie Skillet for an evening dessert...should be hard to mess that up, but the cookie was hard as a rock, we had to saw at it with our butter knives to break off bite sized portions of the disk. This restaurant is located on the second floor of the Great Wolf Lodge, right across from the check in desk. It has you typical pub food and drinks like a Chillis or Applebees. It is huge and they have some seats that overlook the water park. They have burgers, salads, chicken, desserts, and adult beverages. They were only open for breakfast and dinner due to COVID while I was there. The entire staff was friendly, but our server was a step above. Chole was awesome. I got the ribs and fries. The ribs were surprisingly good. Some of the kids drinks and adult beverages come in souvenir cups. The place was a bit on the pricy side, but the restaurant is so convenient if you are staying at the lodge. Oh well, you only live once. Like most restaurants, all the staff is wearing masks, you have to wear a mask until you are seated and eating, and social distance is enforced. I enjoyed my dinner there. The food was delicious, the drinks were refreshing and the service was top notch. As I mentioned, just keep an eye on what you order because you bill can creep up very quickly. read more

Convenient, absolutely. Overpriced, yes but you pay for convenience. We ordered the loaded fries - which were frozen French fries with melted cheese and bacon bits. Loaded chicken nachos - chips, cheese dip, possibly canned chicken?, black beans and corn. It was good except the chicken. The kids meals were not great and were $10 each. A really great option for a staycation with the kids is the Great Wolf Lodge up by Kings Island in Mason. Occasionally sales are run and we were able to stay on a Sunday night when the kids were out of school on Monday, maximizing the savings. The indoor water park was obviously a huge hit with our kids, but we also spent time at the arcade and miniature golf. When it came time for dinner we headed to the built in Lodge Wood Fired Grill. My wife and I split a couple of items. First was the Mediterranean Hummus with extra virgin olive oil, paprika, feta cheese, and olive tapenade, served with grilled flatbread and vegetables ($9). This was a very generous portion of hummus and the addition of feta cheese was a bonus. Overall a very solid starter. Our other item was the chopped barbeque chicken salad with greens, fire-roasted corn, green onions, black beans, crisp fried jalapenos, cilantro, pepperjack cheese, barbeque sauce, crisp onion strings, and ranch dressing ($14.50). This was a very large salad and would be a lot for a single person. The ingredients were fresh and the combination of spicy and sweet flavors really worked well.  Our son enjoyed his kids cheeseburger with fries and fruit. And our daughter really liked the spaghetti with giant meatball, veggies, and fruit. Both items were $6 and included a drink. Overall the Lodge Wood Fired Grill was a great dining option while staying at the Great Wolf Lodges. Their prices were mostly on par with what you would find at comparable restaurants outside of the resort. Our service was fast and friendly. read more

This location as others have mentioned is inside the Great Wolf Lodge. It's busy, lots of family groups of 8+ people are seated some service can be slow. They did bring out the kids meal first which was nice but slow, I came Christmas week. Food is pretty good. I mean, the other option is the buffet so...pretzel was a nice starter. Adults ordered salads, kids had grilled cheese and burger and they ate up. Good wine options, top shelf liquor options. Also later in the evening I asked the hostess if I could purchase a hot chocolate to-go for my kids. She stepped away, prepared a large hot chocolate with whip cream and chocolate drizzle and declared, no charge. So some surprising service. read more

The food was out lightning fast! My wife has a lot of food allergies, so the chef actually took the time to come to our table and ask her exactly how she needed her meal prepared! This is the first time this has EVER happened, we are very limited in the restaurants we can go to, so to have this in our lodge was amazing! The sign out in the lobby said come in and try our fall & pumpkin flavors. There was 11 of us and we dropped over $250 in this restaurant . The menu was just a piece of coping paper that they had ran off from a printer. No and I mean no fall or pumpkin anything on the paper (I would say menu but it truly was just paper) They said they just changed what they offered to eat and there was not even a regular cheeseburger to order only a spicy cajun . Along with other things we have never heard of for $20 plus. If they are trying to change things up and be better they are going the wrong way for sure. Several choices for food at Great Wolf Lodge. If you come here, this shouldn't be one of them. Didn't mind the hour wait to be seated. It was spring break. The wait once inside was another story. Waited maybe a few minutes to get a drink order. Drinks came quick and we ordered food. Then after an hour our appetizer salad came out. At this point I lost it. The table next to us had eaten and left already. The table across from us, where the previous table was getting their food when we sat down and then was resat with four new people, had already gotten their dinners. This is where I lost my shit. Threatened to leave as I had three kids about to lose their minds, and no drink refills this whole time. The rest of the food came out almost immediately after threatening to leave. The only reason we didn't was the manager came out and apologized and gave us a discount on our food. I should have read the comments on yelp before heading there. Many others have had service issues in the past and they seem to persist. The food however was good, albeit a bit cold. Hence the two stars. read more

We've eaten here dozens and dozens of times over the years. This place has had its ups and downs where food quality is concerned. Right now, they're in the lowest of lows we've seen. Burnt food, completely absurd ratios of garnish to actual food, limited menus due to "supply issues" that wiped out the entire menu overnight. It's like they let 3 year olds play kitchen back there. On the other hand, service is great and bar drinks are picture perfect. We opted to stay at GWL during COVID so we didn't have to leave the facility the entire 4-day stay, but 3 strikes and we're outta here for all remaining meals. read more

We waited for a long time between every time the waitress came to the table, even having to remind her about our drinks, about ordering, about the check, etc. The construction has horrible acoustics and it was so loud in there that we couldn't wait to leave, but because of the service we were there for nearly 2 hours. Went went to Great Wolf Lodge this past weekend. Got there on Friday the 16th and after looking around, we decided to eat here at the grill. There was no wait to be seated so we immediately got a seat and ordered our drinks. The service was great and our waitress was very nice. We ordered a pretzel and calamari as appetizers. The pretzel was very hot and soft. I liked it a lot with the mustard, but the beer cheese was disappointing and lacked any flavor. The calamari wasn't very crispy, but had a good texture and was not rubbery like some other calamari I've had. The chili sauce it came with was amazing. Things went downhill from there. My wife and I split the bbq platter, my son got the brisket sandwich, our daughter got a grilled cheese sandwich, and I also got a cup of chili. As you can see from the picture, the brisket that was on our platter and my sons sandwich looks old and grey. It looks like it was boiled then microwaved. We didn't even touch it and my son didn't eat his sandwich. The ribs on our platter were tasteless and dry, and the mac n cheese was also dry and looked curdled or coagulated. Our daughters grilled cheese, granted it's a grilled cheese, was also dry and seemed old, like it had been sitting out for a while. It's aggravating because for the price you pay in that place, you should at least get some decent food. Definitely won't be back on our next visit to Great Wolf. read more

Our reservation was made for convenience because we didn't want to leave the water park. Based on previous reviews I had low expectations. In the end all five of us were thrilled! Each dish was amazing and we were eager to have of taste of each. The fish special was cooked beautifully as were the two steak dishes. We consider ourselves "foodies" so to say "best we've had in a while" is pretty strong. Additionally the service was top notched! Though we had to ask about the app dish every other small detail was well tended too. Our server, Nick, was charming and professional and even those bringing our plates were attentive. Other than the trough (buffet) or carry out pizza, this is the other dinner option at Great Wolf. Food here is definitely the way to go. Very limited seating. Utilize Yelp to book your table at least 12 hours in advance. If you call or stop in to reserve a table and they reject the reservation, goto Yelp and try to book it. They told us no and then I immediately booked it via Yelp. Table was ready when we arrived for reservation. Kids liked chicken tenders and fries. N.Y. Strip was very good. Salads also very good. Dark Horse wines was a nice surprise (recommend the Cabernet with steak). Being kid friend and at a resort, don't expect a quiet dinner. Can't go wrong here if your looking to avoid driving off site for dinner. read more
