Years ago we had a fantastic experience with Beers. When we remodel our new Park Place condo we hired them to match and refinish our flooring. Due to product shortages we waited 6 months for matching flooring. The kitchen floor was to join existing dining room to make a seemless floor. We were told the new and old floors would be "weaved" together. While we are told it will eventually look better as it ages; it was not the quality results we expected. read more

I paid Beers Floor a very good price with expectation of quality floor sanding and refinishing. The flooring work had been done OK. However, all the shoe mouldings were partially stained, and I was told it was unavoidable. Beers had to replaced all the shoe mouldings after I pointed out the term of Install New Shoe Mouldings in the contract. But, all the stained side walls and scratched base boards are left for me to handle. read more

Damage was done to my truck while a Beers Flooring employee loaded flooring purchased from their store into the bed of my pick-up using their forklift on company property. On December 27th at roughly 12pm, I was helping a friend pick-up flooring from Beers Flooring store in Annapolis. The forklift driver, Tom, hit my tailgate while it was down with the right fork. I took photos immediately following the incident and Tom asked me to send the estimate for the damage. I live in Florida and was home for the holidays, therefore I did not get an estimate until 1/12/18. I even have a voicemail from the company asking for the estimate and photos to be sent over. In one email between them, they acknowledge that their employee hit me, but blamed it on their customer for not instructing him to not hit my vehicle with the forks. After they received the estimate and photos, they denied any and all responsibility. The owner has not contacted me but I have been told he is aware and avoiding me because I'm from out of state and "he hopes you go away." I have everything documented and have a witness to testify. Just had my old heart pine floors repaired and refinished by Beers Flooring. It was a difficult job because they had to blend together floor boards from two different rooms that did not line up. Not only did they blend the floors beautifully between the two rooms into one, they did a terrific finish job so that the whole 'new' room looks amazing. Other parts of the job were handled very satisfactorily, including blending in adjacent rooms, good cleanup, and nice people. Years ago, when we were remodeling our townhome, we chose Beers Hardwood Floors to install beautiful new bamboo flooring. The quality of the product and the workmanship of the installers was superb. We were elated with the new look of our home. Many years later, wear and tear and the pacing of a couple of dogs necessitated the refinishing of our floors. Once again, I contacted Beers. I decided to have the work done while I was out of the country on vacation. Because I live in a townhome and there was very limited space to store the furniture, I rented a PODS moving and storage cube and had it parked in front of my home. Beers employees moved all of my furnishings out of the area to be refinished and into the storage cube. Safely locked up, they were then ready to tackle my floors. They completed the work while I was away. I wasn't inconvenienced by having to live in the house while it was undergoing these renovations. When the work was completed, they moved all of my furnishings back into my home and Voila! I returned to a home with floors that looked like brand new. A bonus was that I returned from a great vacation and didn't have to live through all of the construction. I was especially pleased that all of my furnishings survived the ordeal without so much as a scratch! Kudos to Beers and their employees for a first-class job. It couldn't have been easier for me.
