My husband and I are 100% satisfied with HG Flooring. Here is why: 1. Responsiveness - They came out quickly to do the estimate. They answered all texts and emails in a timely manner. 2. Patience - They answered all questions and explained the process to us. They were in no rush to finish the job. Their concern was doing it well. 3. Professional - This company showed up on time every day. They all appeared to enjoy their job as they smiled, laughed.....and I could hear them downstairs happily singing and enjoying each other's company. The employees were kind and explained every step to us. 4. Timeliness - Never late. In fact, they were always a little early. 5. Affordable - This is NOT a cheap process. Keep in mind that there is a lot of labor involved in refinishing a floor. It takes a hours to complete. And when you have the caliber of employees that they have, you've got to pay them well to keep them. And these guys are worth keeping. So no, it is not a cheap job. Not an easy task and after a few tests and two tries his team accomplished what seemed might be impossible. Owner, Henry was a pleasure to work with from start to finish, beginning with his communication (he always picks up the phone) and was ready and patient to answer any and all questions along the way. I've never had floors installed before and was very nervous. Top reasons I went with HG: 1) When the owner came by to do an estimate, he was more detail-oriented than everybody else and asked me questions nobody else did. I rarely write reviews but my overall experience with H G Flooring was so good that I decided to write a review. I recently hired H G Flooring to install new flooring in a few rooms and do some carpet stretching. I found their prices to be competitive, their work was great and their customer service was awesome. The work was completed with top quality, with good attention to detail and they thoroughly cleaned the place before they left. Over the years I have worked with many home improvement contractors and I have rarely found contractors who could deliver on all aspects. In the past several years, I can confidently say that I have not hired a contractor as friendly, professional, customer-service oriented, or committed to quality work as Henry's team at HG Flooring. Henry was quick to respond to my request for a quote and came over himself for his assessment. We stayed in touch during the planning process and while I ultimately decided to purchase the floors on my own, he would provide the baseboards. When the day of install came, his team arrived on-time and ready to go! They were diligent in their work, friendly, and didn't mind the questions I asked throughout the morning. Everything was smooth sailing until one of his contractors informed me that the boxes of flooring that I had ordered were damaged, and they wouldn't be able to continue. (This was on the delivery company - not HG Flooring). Henry called me immediately and we decided that he would meet me at Home Depot on his way back from a site visit, in hopes that there would be in-stock floors I would like. Fortunately there were, and his team met us there to load up the new floors and get back to work. The install was seamless from there. I requested no quarter-round and they were able to install the baseboards in such a way that there was minimal gapping! Talk about a great job. I am VERY picky when it comes to contractors and work in my home. Henry and his team absolutely nailed the job and for a reasonable price. If you ever need floors done, reach out to his company - you will not be disappointed! I will also add that they specialize in floors - so they do it well. read more

Outstanding workmanship and attention to detail. Henry has done a beautiful job in my condo installing 1655 sq ft of engineered hardwood in the dark coffee color. It looks absolutely beautiful, and it's the first thing people compliment when they walk in. They also do excellent work painting and drywall. Henry is dependable, and he arrives as scheduled.
