Refreshing beverage at the NEX Food (Navy Exchange) Court in Honolulu, Hawaii... Bee's Boba Express used to be at Moanalua 99... before the complex closed down and became Home Depot. Now, Bee's Boba Express is upstairs of the Pearl Harbor Exchange. Just go up the elevator, escalator, or stairs. No ID necessary! There's free parking, good air-conditioning in the spacious area, lots of inside and outside seats, and a convenient restroom! Bee's is near the elevator - you can't miss this bright yellow vendor. Service was quick and friendly! I got a Peach Green Iced Tea with Rainbow QQ (colorful gel cubes). It was a bit sweet - even after I let the ice melt. I added about a cup of water when I got home... LOL! It lasted longer and I got more fluids in me!

I used to go to Bee's back when they had a location in 99 ranch all the time. I've been to this location once or twice before but I haven't been in years. This one is located in the nex food court. I grabbed lunch here one day and was craving something sweet after having curry for lunch. I decided to get pineapple mango smoothie with boba. It was made pretty quick and it definitely hit the spot. I like that the boba was a little chewy. Definitely will be back again.

Great flavor selection Fresh fruit ingredients Lots of boba/ mochi/ pop selection Excellent service Located in the NEX 2nd floor

Located at the NEX, Bee's Boba offers a wide selection of milk teas and fruit smoothies. I typically get the regular black milk tea or the taro coconut smoothie which are both tasty and not too sweet. If in the area and looking for boba, this is a good place to try.

I visited at 10:45 AM and a lady was still setting up and when I got closer to the counter, she asked how many drinks I was interested in and when I said 2 she offered to make them for me earlier than opening. I ordered a Matcha smoothie with Azuki and Boba. The Boba was nice and soft is a good balance of sweet & matcha flavor similar to Starbucks. I was able to ask for extra flavoring to make it stronger. They offer a variety of toppings to put in your drink. QQ is jelly topping. Classic homemade local business in Hawaii for many years. They do not have a phone number nor any website or social media. They do accept AmEx, Mastercard, VISA and Discover with tap to pay. They are located on second floor of NEX food court, on the left of the escalator. There are some tables and chairs near the kiosk to dine at.

Great place to enjoy huge selections of bubble tea, and shaved ice with mochi, topped with ice cream of various flavors. Glad that they are all on the sweet side. Otherwise, I probably would have no problem in putting away many servings, instead of sharing one. Perfect stand to stop by when shopping at the Pearl Harbor Navy Exchange. It is located on the second floor, left side of the escalator, prior to the exist door to the outside lanai dining area. Let's support this popular local small business during the pandemic. Thanks! Addendum - It is fair to state that at close to $6.00 a pop, it is not in the inexpensive/cheap category.

Absolutely love this place for a refreshing Boba smoothies. I have tried several flavors and Lychee coconut Boba is so good. I love that they have so many options to try and add ons so you can come here many times and try something new. Their cups are also sealed and perfect for your commute. One thing to note. They close at 5 pm on the weekdays and not 8:30. The weekends they are open until 6pm.

#30 Matcha green tea cup shave ice w/ azuki bean, mochi balls, green tea ice cream, condensed milk
    Ruby S.

#6 for 2020 My taste buds were craving something with a subtle hint of sweetness. Courteous and helpful workers filled up my cup with a layer of fine shaved ice, dollop of azuki beans mixed with mochi balls, scoop of matcha green tea ice cream, and drizzle of condensed milk. Portions worked out perfect! I'm smiling from ear to ear, enjoying every bite and spoonful of dessert. When I'm in the mood for a sweet beverage, I will try other flavors of boba drinks next time.

I don't like how they do a smoothie. The dairy taste of yogurt was overwhelming. I couldn't feel the real fruit flavor in it.

It's the kind of spot you're most likely to discover while wandering in or out of Ginza Bairin, following a luxurious tonkatsu meal craving something cold and refreshing. The setup is refreshingly no-frills: medium styrofoam cups, flavors handwritten in Sharpie, and two separate freezers dividing ice cream and sorbet. The texture runs on the firmer side, which actually works in its favor -- your scoop holds up beautifully in the island heat and doesn't melt into a puddle five minutes later. Given the generous portions, you probably won't be refreezing leftovers anyway. The tropical fruit sorbets are the clear stars, made with fresh fruit and bursting with natural flavor. Mango, lychee, and guava taste vibrant and authentic -- bright, fragrant, and not overly sweet due to the natural acidity from using real fruit. Beyond the classics, there are some fun and unexpected options like corn cheese, durian, and avocado for the more adventurous palate. The standout for me, though, was the Kona coffee ice cream. It avoids the common trap of being cloyingly sweet and instead leans into a rich, dark, nutty undertone with an intense coffee essence that lingers in the best way. It feels grown-up and balanced -- deeply satisfying without overpowering. Whether you're looking for the perfect palate cleanser after tonkatsu or just want a cold treat while strolling through Waikiki, Henry's Place delivers simple, memorable scoops that taste like they're made with care. Another colleague and I jumped at the opportunity to tag along on a Friday early afternoon. Located down Umi Street not too far from neighboring New City Nissan on N King Street, Samurai moved to their current location in 1995 serving Maui style sherbet, popcorn and other local snacks. They also expanded to Samurai Snacks Aiea for an impressive 20+ years before closing its doors in May 2023. We arrived shortly after lunch time where we pondered at the menu wondering what to get. It's not fancy here at Samurai - - the storefront is basic and nothing fancy with a few seats patrons can sit on if they decide to eat their treats on premise. Morale has been low at the office so I decided to get some convenient prepackaged 4oz assorted Samurai cups to cheer up the staff. My colleagues also picked up some bags of buttered popcorn with mochi crunch and furikake for an informal office party to welcome the much needed weekend. Because we were already there, we also got some soft serve cups to cool down before heading back to the office. My colleagues had the classic strawberry and blue vanilla swirl and I selected the mango. My colleagues enjoyed their selection but the mango didn't live up to my expectations. The color was vibrant and enticing but sadly the mango flavor did not come through. Each cup came with a sugar roll cookie that was delicious. After our cold treat we headed back to the office with our surprise for our colleagues where it was a big hit. There were many happy faces standing in line grabbing some popcorn and a 4-oz cup of Samurai. Overall, a much better experience with Samurai that's deserving of an update with higher marks. It has been noted in my books to stick to flavors I'm already aware of and avoid trying new ones for that possible disappointment that often happens to me.
