Very happy with our experience. Due to some of the earlier reviews we opted to contact customer service to verify the products were in stock. We were looking for Legrand outlets in Graphite and were having a difficult time finding them in 20A. The customer service rep was very helpful in verifying and also letting us know they could get number of items we needed between their warehouses. We ordered our items on Monday 6/10 and by Friday 6/14 our products arrived! They shipped quickly and provided tracking. Icing on the cake was free shipping and a new customer discount! Awful Terrible customer support Placed order and was constantly moving back delivery date

Their website allows customers to purchase " nolonger available" products .( most competitor's websites wont allow this ) And rather that place your funds on hold like most businesses until product ships, this company deposits your funds then several days later sends you an email stating..oh so sorry the product you ordered is nolonger available and it willl take 5 to 7days to process your refund. It's 2023 folks and their website is woefully antiquated...dont let customers buy a nolonger available product and then make the customer wait 5 to 7 days for a refund. An order was placed and the package got "delivered" and signed for, but it was never delivered. I had contacted them in regards to helping me locate the package and repeatedly they stated the package was delivered and took no further action. Bees Lighting(beelighting.com) claimed they had opened and investigation in regards to the shipment and a claim was opened and then was closed immediately. I called Fedex the shipping carrier they used and no claim was taken no investigation was ever opened or closed. I called them back and there is no service from these people and they don't want to hear how frustrated you are as a customer. Any frustration or concern you show is considered rude, a type of attitude and even a manner of demeaning. "I don't appreciate the tone you are using" "You are being disrespectful" "You are being demanding" "We don't need this type of attitude" As a customer when a package has not been received and you have paid full for a items you are allowed to express concern. This is a fact! I mean honestly who would like to purchase from a website and not be able to receive their items? Even more frustrating is this company has people who work there that doesn't care about their customers. If you work in customer service honestly you need to know how to defuse a problem and help me the customer feel like their situation is important. If there was profanity or personal attacks fine I agree don't take my words however there was not. People who know they are wrong will handle the situation by being louder and this was one of those situations. Despite the service I was receiving my main concern was locating the package or getting my money back both of which was not offered. I got the following run around answers and comments: 1) The items were shipping from the manufacturer 2) The shipping was done outside of our account 3) We will need to contact the manufacturer 4) We will contact you when we hear back (No timeframe, No date, no reassurance of when) 5) You will hear from us when we hear something 6) The package was received and signed I could continue but I am sure you get the point. No timeframe. No reassurance. What I felt through this whole conversation was I got lied to, no accountability was taken and the probability of not hearing back is higher. This is not the type of company I would want to purchase from again. BUYERS BEWARE THESE PEOPLE TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY. ALL RESPONSIBILITY IS PUSHED TO THE MANUFACTURER AND THE SHIPPING CARRIER. The customer service here is awful. Wish to have read the reviews before!! I tried returning some lamps that didn't work for me because I made a mistake and got some fixtures with too many lumens. I called first because I didn't have the original package which is basically a simple cardboard box. The fixtures were in perfect condition..,I only installed them and put them down immediately because of the lumens issue. They accepted my return;they sent me an email with instructions for return , I paid $100 for Fedex and they refused the package without even opening it !!! Its unacceptable , unbelievable and now I have $500 in fixtures I don't need. Besides, I called to complaint and they saidd they were going to call me back the same day and never did. I ordered a couple of items in Jan-2023, the website clearly indicated these were In Stock (a few wall plates and light switches from Legrand Adorne brand). The order confirmation said they would ship in a week. Nothing shipped in a week. It took two months for most of the items to ship. It is now March, I'm still waiting for one of the items to ship out. Meanwhile, the website still indicates the items are supposedly In Stock. Never buying from here again if I can't trust whether the items on their website are actually in stock or not. The only positive comment I can leave here is that the items that have arrived so far arrived safely and work as expected. read more

The order of 5 digital switches was placed on 8/3/22 with a delivery date 3/14/22. When I called on 3/15/22 to inquire regarding my order I was told that that they don't have it in stock and it will be delivered on April 7th. On April 4th I received the following message from beeslighting: "This email is to inform you that your order SO179378 estimated ship date is August 1st. The manufacturer gave us an estimate of late 2022, so this date has a chance of being pushed back again." I canceled my order. Stay away from beeslighting - they will sell you stuff they don't even have in stock. read more

They literally charged me return shipping on a wrong order item. BEWARE

Horrific Customer service. Bought exterior lights for a home based on their website info which showed the light as a 24". Turns out their web info was wrong and there are no 24" version of this light. What they sent to my installer were 9.5 in lights. The wrong lights were sent & installed, now have to be removed & as there are no 24' lights in that model I have to remove & replace all the lights and go with another model. While they will accept the return of the lights, I proposed I would buy the largest lights they make in this model which is 17.25in to see if that can work. But I asked them to match the price of what they charged for the supposed larger 24". Instead, they want me to pay $218 for the smaller light which is $690 more for the 5 lights than I already paid ( for a smaller light). I went online & bought the lights from another company who did not casue this issue for $138/ light. Trying to speak w anyone in authority is impossible. I emailed & received inadequate responses with no real solution and when I called - 4 times I was placed on hold ( 1 time for 24 mins) then transferred to someone in Sales who offered no real solutions. I was then told that the head of Customer Service Mike A doesnt have a phone in his office, though the receptionist put me on hold 4 times to transfer me into him. Completely unprofessional & despite acknowledging their error really take no responsibility for it. When you ask who owns the company, who is the President, who is the General Manager , etc, every person dodges the question & doesnt even know who their boss is. Think twice before doing biz w these people ! Much better alternatives read more

They had most of the manufacturer documents and instructions on each product's listing. This was honestly an awful experience. I ordered from this company on November 7, and after being quoted 2-3 weeks for shipping time (which is ridiculous in and of itself) I called the company. I was told that the items I ordered were on backorder and they will be shipped "today", well that was two weeks ago and they still have not arrived. I got a tracking number finally on December 17 and they are supposedly coming in today. I can't see myself ever ordering from this company again as the room these lights are for is a kitchen and it's been dim for more than a month because of incompetence and lack of communication. This is such a too good to be true kind of company. I put in a starting order with this company to test their worth, efficiency and customer service, and finally there ability to deliver. Worth: Discount prices on quality goods is always a great thing, as long as the product they sale, don't also come with a burden, or the speed of shipping is too slow. I placed a small order with them a few hundred dollars. With every intention of looking for a long term relationship with a company that consistently deliver. This is not it it look elsewhere. If that is all you need to decided to find other sources many of these products can be find cheaper elsewhere. Which brings me to efficiency: Monica called me the following day after placing my order, and want to verify that I was who I was, due to a mismatch of Billing and Shipping address, which is beyond normal for a new home purchase. This was fine and I confirmed that it was me, and asked if they needed anything else we ended the call, I was under the impression it was solved. A few hours later, MONICA once again called me with the same issue, like it was somehow beyond a normal occurence to have billing and shipping addresses not match. Once again we ended the call with a understanding that it was better and the flag was resolved. Then finally she called me once again today, and demanded that I send the order to my billing address, which was no big deal as it is fairly close. So I simply asked if she was able to confirm that once I had moved and things like addresses matched, since I had several Thousands of dollars worth of other things to buy as well. This was their test order. Now instead of listening to me she talked over me, when I made it clear that It was irritating that she couldn't even listen long enough to clarify that the problem would be recertified for future orders. She then proceeded to tell me that I was Interrupting her like some game of tit for tat. I am the customer. When I pointed out that the inquiry for 2 days and several calls was akin to treating me like a thief, and instead of being capable agent she lashed out and said she would cancel my order and hung up on me. I kindly called her back to explain the miscommunication, which was totally because of her inability to shut her trap long enough to listen to my question. She processed my order, but made sure that it wasn't filled today, and that it wouldn't be shipped till Tuesday due to the holiday. This under current world circumstances is more than understandable. This order was made 3 days ago and the first phone called could of clarified all of this, if it their policy she failed to make that clear several days ago, and had some nerve to treat a customer like they don't need the business, so do yourself a favor and look for other companies, I found everything that I needed from one other site, it was all less costly. Once again I don't bother to call out a bad business unless they need to be called out. Save yourself the trouble buy anywhere else. Lastly when I figured out they processed it no problem after that change, they could of saved everyone a lot of trouble by just practicing proper customer service protocols. Dumbfounded at the level of ineptitude. I initially thought I'd accidentally called a marijuana distributor. It was like everyone was high. I got an LED T9 circline bulb that didn't work,called in and got stock in some mansplain mud cave. There are no ballasts on LED bulbs Einstein! They sent me a questionnaire about ballasts as a prerequisite to sending out a replacement of a $15 LED (NO BALLAST) bulb; so moronic! I canceled the order and just junked the stupid bulb. Inept, inefficient and clearly incapable total insult to bees! read more

Where to start. I needed 32 wafer lights at 277v dimmable. Tried to order 6 contractors packs of 6 and 8 of the Diva dimmers at $80 a pop on a Monday. Website payment page was down. Called, got the "call back during normal business hours" prompt at 4 p.m cst. Tried again Tuesday, same thing. Wednesday morning at 6 a.m. cst I was able to place my order (4 a.m. west coast). Paid for 2 day delivery at $78.00 needing them for a Saturday job. Finally got a tracking number Thursday afternoon and it shows to reach me by Monday. I was able to push the job to the next Saturday, but Monday I have only 6 lights and 8 dimmers. Called and asked and they said no contractor packs exist. I can order 30 more if I wanted. Told them no, I would like to return everything. The lady on the phone was helpful and said I needed to wait for an email. Almost 2 weeks go by and no email. I call and she sends it again and I receive it immediately. I notice they weren't going to cover shipping. I called and inquired about that and the lady told me to write an email so her boss can look at the issues at hand and make a decision. His decision was to do nothing. They wouldn't pay for shipping because they didn't believe the order accuracy was their fault, nor could they guarantee a delivery date. They can't guarantee 2 day delivery but will advertise 2 day delivery and take your money for it. So I just paid another $30+ to ship this back to them. $100 in total shipping for lights to make a lap from California to Texas and back. Needless to say, they ruined what could have been a good working relationship. All over $30 on shipping them back for a return. Mike Assi is the customer service supervisor who told me l, in short, that I don't know how to run my business nor understand how customer service works. Mike Assi is the reason why they won't get a red cent from any of the work I have contracted out already or the millions in fixtures to come. Thanks Mike Assi! Without your pain in the ass, I would have never found my new supplier for fixtures. I pay $0.29 more a fixture now roughly but they take care of business. It has been on time and correct the past 3 orders all whilst waiting for an email and Mike Assi's bullshit. read more

We ordered 6 lights. One failed. Rather than BEES immediately sending a new one along with a call tag to ship the old one back (like Amazon, and most other online retailers today), they said we had to order a new one, pay for it + shipping, wait for a call tag (2 days), then ship the failed unit back and wait for a refund, but the replacement shipping isn't refundable (!!). These people are stuck in a 1990's merchandising model. Waste of my time. read more

I ordered 20 Cree LED troffers to replace my old fluorescent lighting in my office building. Bee's lighting had by far the best prices I could find. Also the shipping was very reasonably priced and very fast. The light that the Cree's put out is amazing, so much better than fluorescent. There's no more buzzing, flickering or miss matched bulb colors. No more replacing bulbs or waiting for the lights to warm up. The staff at Bee's lighting was very friendly and helpful when it came to asking questions. Will definitely shop there again for my lighting needs. I've already sent my uncle over to Bee's to replace his fluorescent troffers! read more

Terrible management in customer service! Bees did not deliver my order as promised then showed it as a slit order instead of as I ordered it. Which can be a problem but no big deal right? Then when the order never came I tracked it and Bees tracking with FeD-ex showed delivery to my location 2 days before. (on 1/2 the order mind you, and already a 12 day turnaround on stock items) without a signature on a $1,800 dollar order. I called customer service to inform them and ask for help. At first Bees customer service rep "Gabby" was professional. She listened and took action and was going to resend my entire order expedited on a 2 day delivery. Sounds great right, things happen. I was satisfied. This is when it got crazy, 45 mins later I get a call from her and she apologised but said "she could not send out my order." I explained I had to have it, it was holding up my CO. She said there was nothing she could do.(orders from above, no doubt) I told her I had to have it again and politely asked for her supervisor. She escalated and I got the same answer from her direct superviser, except I would have to wait for a Fed-ex investigation before they would re-ship my order, a potential delay of weeks. I then asked for a full refund which her supervisor, said she could not that. I then asked for her boss I was then sent to the main Guy the real customer service supervisor. His name I did not get, but who I asked, "Are you aware what is going with my account and have you been briefed on the problem". To which he said, yes. I then ask him for a solution. My solution was either 1.) refund my order in full and I would buy them else where or 2.) send out the entire order together either overnight or 2 day ground as I agreed to with Gabby. He told me NO and to calm down or he was going to hang-up on me. REALLY? And then he took it farther and threatened me if he hung up I would have to go to mastercard and put in a fraud claim and try to recover my money from them, but he was not going to help me. Angered and Shocked from his responce to my problem. ,after all "Who tells a customer to go fight it out on A FRAUD claim!" I then said are you F***ing kidding me? I said I need a solution at which point he said good luck or something like that and then HUNG-UP the phone on me. Now this is Management in Customer service!..? Stay away from this company. I will pay more to be treated as if my money matters and who has every heard of a company`s response is to fight it out with your credit card company? I recently ordered about $800 worth of can lights, about half 4" and half 6" size. I received an ETA for the ship date, which was 3 weeks from order-seemed excessively long but it still fit within my needed time frame. Then about a week after ordering, I get an email saying my order has shipped-great right? Except when I got the order, it only has the 6" cans in it. The email informing me that the order shipped had no information about what was being shipped, and the box itself had absolutely no information either inside or outside the box regarding the order or shipment. I thought perhaps the 4" cans would arrive shortly thereafter in a separate shipment, as this is common from suppliers (though documentation is always supplied for this situation). Several days later, no 4" cans. I couldn't find any phone number for the company from my order or shipping emails, or on their website. I had to google search the company to get their number to ask about my order. When I called, I was told the 4" cans are out of stock with no ETA as to when they will again be available. Keep in mind, no one contacted me from beeslighting to inform me of this-absolutely unacceptable. When I got through to customer service, they were able to cancel the order. However, it took a couple days for the order to cancel, and a few more after that to get the over $300 they owed me for product they could not produce. It's always annoying to me that the money can come out of my account nearly instantly when purchasing product, but takes nearly a week to be refunded in the case that they screw something up. All in all a highly unpleasant experience, and I don't recommend using this company for anything. read more
