Today by chance, I happened to drop in Bee's Nails for a pedicure...more exactly a nail cleanup! After a hip replacement, I have not been able to care for my feet in several months, leaving my feet in pretty bad condition. I was embarrassed to even go to a nail salon....but to my surprise, I was treated with the utmost care and expertise....in fact this was by far the most thorough and complete pedicure I have ever had. Tee took his time in detailing every need, never rushing through any process. I will go back again soon and recommend the salon to friends. RIP OFF! I did a walk-in and was enjoying the experience when a guy named Te walked in and began to force me to get my manicure while the nice elderly lady was finishing my pedicure. Te asked me to come back and for my birthday I would get 15% off so I came back as expected in 30 mins. I had to wait for the manicure and he was VERY rude (talking on the phone and not engaging with me at all) I then got my eyebrows/chin waxed. I got to the counter to pay and it was $100! I said, what about my 15% discount. Te then proceeded to say that is for mani/pedi only. He showed me the price page. READ THE FINE PRINT...they did not tell me that it would be 15.00 extra to add gel polish to the 35.00 pedicure. They used bait & switch tactics to make me assume I was going to get the 15% discount on my $30.00 wax services. Lorraine is excellent but they said she had broken her leg. Run away from this place, the quality of the mani/pedi was not good and most rushing around so they can do clients quickly is not worth the money or your time. read more

I went in on a Saturday morning (3/16/2019) and got a gel manicure and a deluxe pedicure by Laurie/Lorraine, the total cost was $75.00 + $10.00 tip. I went home and noticed the gel polish on my left thumb nail was peeling off. By Sunday afternoon (3/17/2019), the entire layer of polish had completely peeled off. I went back to the salon on Monday (3/18/2019) to get it fixed and the shop was empty. Lorraine was at her station on her phone and her daughter was sitting across from her on the customer's side, with her feet propped on the desk and she was eating. Laurie made her daughter move but did not sanitize the station or wash her hands. Her daughter sat next to us and ate the entire duration of my nail being fixed. Laurie told me the gel polish didn't cure because of how I placed my hand in the machine. She made sure my hand placement was correct this time and then didn't charge me for the fix. I got home and later that night, the newly fixed nail had already started to pull up again. I decided to file down the gel that was pulling up instead of returning to the salon a third time. I also used a glitter polish to cover the rough texture of the filed down nail and the other nails as well so they'd all match. By Friday (3/22/2019), not even a full week after my initial visit, I had developed an infection under my pinky of my right hand. I used an antibiotic ointment and kept my hands clean. By Tuesday (3/26/2019), the infection only got worse and an abscess had formed. The pressure from the abscess was so bad that I had to clip my nail to relieve the pressure. When I clipped the nail, the gel polish started to peel off and the gel underneath was not cured. By today (3/28/2019) not even two weeks later, my finger is so swollen and painful. The infection hasn't gotten any better and is oozing pus and blood constantly and it is disgusting. I scheduled a doctor's appointment for Friday because this infection is no longer within my control and I need medical help. I hope that I will not have to have my nail removed, but the infection has gotten so bad that it is likely. I emailed the shop and have not yet received a response yet. I have also filed a formal complaint with the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology so they can look into the cleanliness and sanitization of this salon. read more

Called around to get pricing for a full set on my birthday and decided to go with this salon because they quoted me a fair price and the guy on the phone was super nice and accommodating. I was blown away by the service when I got there! Nikki did my nails and she did an excellent job. I showed her 2 pictures of what I wanted (one for the design and one for the length/shape) and she matched them perfectly. She was gentle, quick, and thoroughly detailed all while being extremely personable the whole time. The atmosphere of the salon was so calming and they even provide a complimentary drink - from wine to mimosa to soda. Definitely a great experience and a place I will be returning to anytime I need my nails done! read more

So, wrapping up a 3 day mommy daughter mini stay-cation with a mani-peck this afternoon. Worst place I've ever been to. However was working on my nails filed them almost completely off, and unevenly, after I asked her not to clip them but to just file them so they match. She missed the one side of each mail when she painted so you could see the old pink nail polish left over next to the new gray polish. I had to ask her 3 different times to file off the old, scraggly stuff left over after she filed and was about to paint, and when all was said and done and I asked her to just take it off so I could have them done later, she left me with pieces of grey all over. As if that wasn't bad enough, she found a way to charge me full price by charging $80 for mine and my daughter's pedicures and my daughter's nail painting. Wtf read more

The one star is for the friendly and apologetic Japanese girl(also the only one who could speak English) who did my sister's nails (french tip gel). So I came in a day before(while shopping next door) to see their prices... seemed reasonable enough but there wasn't any customers, should have heeded the sign. Well, my sis and I came back the day of the appointment and the place was deserted again. My sister sat down for her french nails with the aforementioned girl and I leave for a while. Come back and her nails were almost done, not very satisfactory I must add... the french tip was very close to the cuticle, had to get them filed to look halfway decent. At this point we should have cut our loses and left but we were in a hurry and she needed her brows waxed. This is when it all went down... A woman took her inside one of rooms, and without even consulting with her started applying wax, when my sis asked for a mirror, she just said, 'I know', I'm not sure she even understood what she was saying. I knocked on the door to ask if they were done and my sister asked my opinion, because she didn't like waxed brows. The lady had waxed her 'ARCH' away, and my sister's brow"s looked like the angry emoticon and she didn't pluck out the strays, also her skin was super red (she broke out 3 hrs later). Very lousy job. I told her at-least she should pluck the strays, she gave me the evil-I'm super-pissed-why are you wasting my time stare. by this time the Japanese girl came in and I told her about the arch, This is when the other lady had the audacity to lie to our faces... she said ,' No arch', 'No arch'....Now I got really pissed and told her not to lie on top of ruining my sis's brows. Again, 'No arch'. I took my phone out and showed them a picture of my sis's eyebrow's from day before ad Japanese starts to apologize and the other just kept staring at me. We will never go there again, I'm not sure how their "manipettis' (from rave review) are but they sure have very poor customer service (I paid in advance and was never offered a refund for brow waxing) And about the cleanliness, please see the pic and then decide for yourself. read more

I prepaid and waited 50 mins, then the elderly lady who was doing my nails hurt me more than 5 times doing my nails. I told them it's not my fault your closing you've accepted me as a client and I should be able to dry my nails, cuz they will just get ruined. First time here. Man at the front door greeted and asked how can I help you? I told him One pedicure please, he said okay, the owner immediately yelled to me in her customers face and said what do you need?!! I said a pedicure, she said we don't have time. I said okay so how long? She asked a lady working how long till you are done? She said ten mins. So the owner told me wait 20 minutes I said okay no problem I'll take a seat and wait. As she's proceeding to look at me up and down she said what color are you getting? I said French tip. Then she went and got a girl that was not working and asked her to do a pedicure in their language. The girl didn't want to do it half way into the pedi, the next girl she told to do a pedi you can OBVIOUSLY tell she did not know how to do one!! At all!! So I asked does she know how to do a pedicure? The owner says yes she knows how to do a pedicure! Not even half way in I stopped the girl from not knowing how to use the tools properly and asked the owner to finish my pedicure or I will go some where else. This place was so disgusting with there professionalism! I went in for a manicure and these people treated me as if I wasn't going to pay, and I've been there twice before this bad experience. I asked the lady was it a problem because she was hesitant to give me the package I wanted which was like a $60-70$ deal! In all reality it was stereotype threatening that was used against me! This was waaay before the blm movement became what is now, but I wanted to let people know if racism is important to you and blm to you I don't recommend even supporting this business! Well, I can't comment on the job they did with my nails because they DIDNT DO THEM. I walked in at 6:45pm, there were two women there who obviously worked there and no customers. I asked for a shellac manicure and they said they could and had me pick out a color. They lead me to the station of a woman and she prepared to begin my manicure by whipping out the electric file, which is NOT okay for my already thin nails, and not necessary at all for the manicure (this is not my first rodeo). I politely asked her not to use it. She then smiled, put down the file, picked up her iPad and said "sorry", and then proceeded to play games on her iPad. When I confusingly looked over at the other woman working, she told me they were closing soon and that I would have to come back tomorrow, and that they wouldn't have time. What the hell?? My gripe: often the manicurists & manager speak the Vietnamese language exclusively...this makes the English-speaking persons (me) feel uncomfortable and self-concious...as in "is that a booger hanging from her nose???" I received the fancy-schmanzy spa manicure and pedicure on a slow day there. The pedicure was AWESOME, as the guy massaged my feet and ankles for a whopping 27 minutes. The manicure was so-so, and I found it tiresome that the lady asked me 4 times if I wanted my brows done. I wished she had paid more attention to the manicure instead, as my nails started chipping within a day. I would go back for a pedicure from that one technician in a heartbeat, but I would bypass that manicure lady. read more

Don't go here. I paid a lot of money for a gel manicure and pedicure and it's atrocious. Polish is uneven and bubbled on my thumb. I pointed this out to the lady that did my nails as I paid since the terrible job she did was super obvious in natural light and she just shrugged and handed me my credit card back. I also told her at least three times that I wanted a design on my ring finger nail and u still didn't get one! I was so frustrated I didn't even bother asking a fourth time. Bottom line, don't waste your time and money. Such a bummer too, the young woman that did my daughter's nails was AMAZING! So patient and sweet and did a wonderful job.
