Run the other way! We arrived at 5:00 and it was happy hour. Half price margaritas that tasted like Fabuloso cleaner smells. We were the only table in the entire restaurant. The food took about a half an hour. My Mexican flag enchiladas were dried out, the rice was crunchy and the meat inside was hard and chewy. It was like it sat under the heat lamp or broiler too long. My granddaughters chimichanga was inedible. I sent back both entrees and got credit for the chimichanga. I ate a lot of my enchiladas so i didn't expect credit for it but I needed to show the manager how crispy my rice was. The waitress was very nice but forgot a few things and took a long time to deliver our drinks. It was the worst Mexican food we've ever had. I've probably been tipsy 100% of the times I've been here (to be honest I've only been here twice) because if you ain't drinking at Margaritas you might as well go home. Margaritas is probably one of my favorite places to turn up in Manchester, NH. Free chips & salsa as you sip on margaritas and/or sangrias? That's the life my peeps. If I was reviewing the food alone then it would probably be about 3/5 stars. Pretty average stuff. The fish tacos would actually be pretty good if they warmed up the corn tortillas. They broke super easily so the filling tends to fall back onto the plate. My friend and I ordered the Fish Tacos del Mar and Original Fish Tacos so we could try both and we actually liked both other than the flimsy tortillas which I'm sure they probably got straight out of the bag. It sucks how it doesn't come with any sides though. If you want rice and beans or something then you gotta pay extra. read more

We stopped for an early dinner Saturday night around 5. Great selection of dinks and chips and salsa. The rice served with all of our meals was crunchy, either not cooked, or dried out . Corn tortillas served with the fajitas were very dry & barely edible. Enchiladas Banderas came out cold as if it had been sitting for a while the other meals were prepared. I normally tend to go to more mom and pop kinds of restaurants but my friend wanted their corn on their apps menu so we decided to go. And It was just "Good". He also didn't love his corn compared to another margaritas he's been to. The waitress was very nice, the outdoor seating was good but we did feel like we did get that connection as we would have sitting indoors. Okay, so many other yelpers have mentioned slow service and I have to agree. The service was awful when I came in, granted I came late but it took almost 20 mins for the server to even notice me and get my order. However, once that was a settled, service was a lot better. The server actually remembered our names and gave us the correct cards and had the bill split individually without asking. Which is why this place is getting a two stars already. The remaining one star is for the food. You can't expect too much from a franchise. I enjoy dining here with friends. We usually eat at the bar. The margaritas here are very good. The chips and salsa are something else!! The chips are very salty and the salsa very hot. It's a clever scheme to drive up orders of frozen margaritas. Hmmm??? Good thing I ordered that Diet Pepsi with unlimited refills! I enjoy the Fish Tacos (two corn tortillas with tilapia, shredded cabbage, and corn salsa) and a side order of refried beans and rice. We went for dinner and drinks and sat at the bar. The bar had a lively atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food was awful. The chips were so overly salted that we were rubbing the salt off before eating. This place on Elm Street was great many many moons ago. Tonight was an awkward experience. There was some confusion about the kids menu. Apparently we ordered the smoothie as the desert, showed up before dinner and that's when we found out it wasn't the desert from her order. Waitress said if she didn't have the desert she would comp the $3 smoothie. Okay, no worries. Our daughter never finished her meal and therefor didn't get the included desert so I'd assume the smoothie swap was in order. Fast forward towards us cashing out and the manager comes out to give us some lame excuse why this can't be honored. Okay, I'm embarrassed you chose to make an appearance at our table over $3. Very slow service even after telling the server we were trying to eat and get out to go to a hockey game. The restaurant was not very crowed so this request should not have been a big deal. It was...... I would say that the portions are skimpy to say the least. Fajitas are $16.79 and the amount of protein was obnoxious. The sour cream dollop was not enough for one fajita and an extra cup was close to $3.00. Gnarley nachos for the kids were dry and limited on cheese. The chips were a tad bit stale.
