It's amazing. Everything tasted the same...PASTY! The wonton soup looked watered down and the wontons tasted pasty and considered they are in a "broth " even they were pasty. Fried rice, beef low main, chicken chow main, tasted like they were made last month. I thought the service was great, ready in 15 minutes! Until I got home and took my first bite. We order here often! Tonight we had a horrible experience. I ordered shrimp lomein and received chicken. My boyfriend ordered from the healthy food section and they gave him the other one, that he can not eat. When he called the girl on the phone was laughing, and was not friendly at all. This Chinese place is the better of the ones that are in the area. The outside place itself looks a little run down, and the inside is dated. There's a huge and awfully old (backlit?) photo of the Great Wall. There's 3 tables with horrible vinyl covering that is bubbled and peeling off the table. And in the beverage cooler they sell Kirkland (Costco brand) water! Are you that cheap, that you can't sell brand name water?! Moving on. I've ordered carry out and delivery from this place and both ways are fast. I personally like picking up my order so I can make sure everything's there and it is warm. Now, their food is great. A friend posted about their Thai chicken dumplings and coincidentally I work down the road. I finally had the chance to get out and grab lunch. I called around 11:30 AM ordering the lunch special: shrimp with lobster sauce, white rice and wonton soup along with the Thai chicken dumplings in peanut sauce. I was told 10 minutes to pick up and my order was ready when I arrived - probably around 12-13 minutes. Everything I had was very good. I didn't have the soup yet but probably won't be disappointed. We ordered the crispy honey chicken and it was no where near crispy, roast pork fried rice again very mushy! Sesame chicken also not crispy and no flavor! Also ordered LG. Boneless spareribs, they were delicious but a big slap in the face when your paying $12 and on the bottom they put broccoli. Dropping the stars. Ordered delivery last night and not only did it take 45 minutes (I live 10 minutes away), but my food was pretty gross. I love Chinese and I ended up throwing it out. If you're reading this don't order General Tso's (mostly little pieces of chicken breaded and fried two or three times aka really dry) or Dragon & Phoenix (the "hot & spicy" sauce on the shrimp is mad nasty & the the shrimp was fried beyond belief). I've ordered take out here many times over the past 5 years. A number of times got food with my brother as well so we had quite an assortment of different meals. Can honestly say that between the two of us we've been satisfied at least 95% of the time. Due to the sheer volume of the amount of times we've eaten here were bound to get something that isn't up to par or as expected. I am pretty much the General Tso guy and he gets more of a variety. Place is not glamorous but functional. Staff is always friendly and remembers me whether it's been a week or many months. Prices are normal I guess but I really don't go to any other places so can't compare actually. Tried the pan fried dumplings with pork tonight as that's been my latest crave. Could only eat a couple but they were very good. The standard order is 8. Hopefully they're ok tomorrow on a reheat lol. read more

The soup was barely warm and had no taste (Egg drop and Hot/sour). The orange beef was inedible since it hard and dry. The lo mein was overcooked. Even the egg roll was barely warm and lacked taste. This is my 3rd year having Bei Jing II Cater for 300 People in my Office. I had ordered take out several times, every time the food was consistently good. To switch things up, I asked the proprietor of Bei Jing II if they would be willing to cater for 300. Not an easy thing for me to do since my office is very picky/fussy when it comes to food. The owner said yes, and he was up for the challenge. All the food, 23 full catering trays, are perfectly prepared, delivered hot and ready to serve with all the appropriate accoutrements along side. Since ordering for the office, many more people have been ordering food for lunch / dinner from Bei Jing II. The restaurant deserves the accolades and the business as the owner and his family work so hard every day to bring the freshest and best tasting cuisine to their customers. I often order from this place. I use both pick up and delivery. Food is the closest I have found to NYC Chinese food. The restaurant is super small but clean. Nothing fancy at all but the food is really good. I usually get the General Tsos chicken with white meat or Chicken with Broccoli. If you spend a certain amount they throw in free stuff.
