Their Tom Kha is outstanding, and everything is so well seasoned with flavors that always come through perfectly. We tried the Pad Kratiem Prik Tai for the first time and now it's officially a must-order every time. The garlic sauce is unbelievably good. I live in Philly but visit the area often and still think this is some of the best Thai food I've had. Cannot recommend this place enough.

And the menu comes in a little pre-designed book that they have. I ordered the pad thai, pad see ew and Thai tea. If you're not as familiar with Thai food, I highly recommend you can try these as starter dishes. Every Thai restaurant has these as staples. Each dish comes with the option of type of protein or vegetables. They offer chicken, pork, beef and tofu. You can also change the level of spiciness from no spice to mild to spicy. The pad thai was a noodle dish with peanuts on top for crunch and texture as well as a savory sauce. The pad see ew came with thicker and longer rice noodles, and a similar sauce to the pad thai with your stirred in protein. I highly recommend you should try the Thai tea as well. I think that it is just a tasty drink for any meal. Everything was very good and pretty standard. Pricing was also pretty affordable. The interior of the restaurant can seat around 30 people. There are tables adjacent to both sides of the wall of the restaurant - In four seaters. The parking lot is right outside with easy parking in the front and back of the restaurant. It is a very cozy, local place that is a little on the smaller side.

On that occasion, we ordered Chicken Satay, Chicken Pad Kee Mao, and Chicken Pad Thai. We visited them again over the weekend and had the Moo Ping as an appetizer and we both had Chicken Pad Thai. All the food has been delicious and made to our requested spice levels. There is plenty of seating inside, but beware, parking is limited in the lot directly attached to the restaurant. There is additional parking nearby though, so don't sweat it. Our server was very attentive and pricing was fair for the portions. We both had leftovers for the next day. They also have a Bubble Tea store on the opposite side which you can order from as well. We look forward to coming back and trying more dishes!

The chicken pad Thai (that we've had on two occasions so far) is authentic, and they accurately deliver whichever spice level you order. I can't stand when I ask for SPICY, but the place goes easy on me and gives me a mild or medium dish. Truly Thai doesn't do that - they actually give you the level that you order. The service is fast and the ladies are always friendly. The atmosphere is super casual (very basic decor, nothing trendy), but their high quality meals are enough to keep us coming back.

We took out a few dishes from the new ownership and were utterly disgusted with the quality. It's been a few more years. I am not sure if ownership changed again, but we decided to give it another chance. I didn't recognize the owner - not sure if it was because of the absence of mask. But first impression was she didn't care to be cordial or friendly, just doing the basic part as a wait staff. On the plus side, the chairs and tables have been upgraded from what I could remember. We ordered our usual dishes in order to gauge the current quality. 2 staple Sichuan dishes: Kung Pao Chicken ($14.95) and Shredded Beef with Hot Green Pepper ($17.95). We also added a noodle dish: Sauteed Noodle with Pork & Scallion ($11.95). Kung Pao Chicken was rendered differently - sweeter and not as dark but tasty none the less. The Shredded Beef was also slightly different, thicker and obviously tenderized with baking soda. It was good enough. The sauteed noodle was good but it's a generic dish so no authenticity to consider. A number of deviations from prior experience. The chicken and beef dishes each only 1 bowl of rice, instead of a big serving bowl for the table. We had to ask for one additional bowl of rice. Not sure if it was missed but we didn't get charged for it. The tea wasn't complimentary any more. $1.50 for the pot. Overall, we weren't disappointed because we came in with low expectation. We will be back again hoping to see that they can at least maintain the same consistency.

For 2 entrees, 1 soup appetizer, and a Thai iced tea - the bill came to $85. With tip and paying by cash, it ended up being $100 for below average food. Crazy! They also add a 4% surcharge for credit cards on top of their already ridiculous prices. One can only imagine their rent must be off the charts. Tamarind duck $45 - the duck was sooo dry and barely had much meat with each piece. Mostly bone. A lot of mixed veggies. I had so much better duck at Chinese super markets. This must be old, frozen duck and a dish that doesn't get ordered that frequently. Tom yum noodle soup $20 - literally just soup with 4 pieces of large shrimp and pad thai noodles. Lacking veggies and no other toppings to balance the dish out. Thai iced tea $6 Tom kha gai soup appetizer $9 The service was ok- was asked multiple times how we were doing and the food came out at a decent time but holy cow! Extremely overpriced for mediocre food at a casual Thai restaurant.

The food is northern Thai, authentic and owner-cooked by chef Jack. The Som Tam Thai was exceptional -- fresh, crunchy papaya, perfectly balanced tamarind, and just enough sauce to carry the flavor without softening the salad. One of the best I've had outside Thailand. One other note--they were able to make it peanut free! The drunken noodles were rich and well-rounded. They dialed back the spice for my husband without losing any of the dish's character, not something other restaurants in the area have done well. The creamy tom yum hot pot was my highlight. Silky-tender velvet beef, bright sourness, and a chili tray to push the heat on your own terms. I like the heat so ordered medium spice and even added a bit. Don't skip dessert. Their mango sticky rice adds ube to the rice to give beautiful color and a subtle earthiness that plays perfectly against the mango's sweetness. This is the kind of place that earns regulars! Highly recommend.
