I thought I got a great deal on a wedding dress 70% off but did NOT realize how much work would be needed to alter it to nearly half its original size. The ladies at Beige Bridal did an amazing job making the wedding dress fit me while also fixing the strap, adding side panels/padding/boning/bustle, and moving all the delicate lace around. They practically made me a whole new dress and were happy to schedule as many fitting sessions as I needed until the big day. Paid $170 for alterations and my dress was only $100, just for it to literally rip at every seam the day of the wedding. Such a waste of money. Do not waste your time there's much cheaper places!!! Also keep in mind I literally wore this dress for about 2 hours and the seam was ripped when I put it on for the first time since picking it up. Took my wedding dress here for alterations on August 2. Was told to come back August 23 for my second fitting. Show up on August 23 for my second fitting and absolutely nothing was done to my dress and all of the pins were out of the top to mark what needed to be altered. Was then told it needed to be hemmed. Chi then proceeded to mash up the bottom of my dress and start stuffing pins in it. To top things off... my veil was rolled up in a ball and shoved in the bottom on my dress bag. There were also two other bride's dresses hanging out of dress bags half off the hangers in the room when I got there. I asked for a refund on what I paid for for the work that was not done. After a length argument with chi and Dorie the owner I was finally given my dress back. There was no excuse as to why nothing was done in the 3 weeks they had my dress. They just told me they 'didn't have time' and then Chi laughed in my face and said she could have done all of the alterations in a day. To make matters worse... After bringing my dress to another seamstress, I was informed that I must now pay rush fees because it is less than 6 weeks until my wedding. I was also told that the back of my dress has been damaged--the belt underneath stretched and the structure compromised--due to excessive and careless handling at the shop and by CHI. (clipping, unclipping, pinning, and unpinning repeatedly). Because of this, I am now forced to pay both rush fees and repair costs to correct the damage caused while my dress was in Chi's possession. She had my dress for three weeks and failed to complete the work as promised, leaving me with significant additional expenses. I have photo evidence--taken in the shop--clearly showing the damage. Avoid this shop at ALL COST!! Especially if you don't want to risk your dress being damaged or unfinished for your wedding!! read more

Chi was AMAZING! Very tentative to details, worked fast, and was very friendly, sweet, calming. Much needed for an anxious bride. Trusted her with my dress. Over 30 years of experience! My dress had 3D florals and I'm 5 feet so I needed a substantial amount of hemming and was scared it would take away from the detailing of my dress. Chi was able to hem and also smoothly transition keeping all the 3D florals detailing and appliqué. Bustling costs about $50 per anchor point. My dress needed 6 anchor points. Hemming is based on layers of fabric that need cutting, around $50/layer of fabric. I also added shoulder straps and that was about $100-150 per strap. 10/10 recommend! read more
