I ordered a side of the chocolate sauce to go with it. Warning, it's more liquid than I expected and I almost spilled it. It is sooo good though and complicated the beignets very well. I also ordered an iced salted caramel mocha latte and it was great as well. I was happy it wasn't super sweet like some places make their flavored coffee. I got my order to-go and they packaging was nice and secure. The location is very clean and they have a large outdoor seating area that's covered and has TV's. The inside seating is cute and cozy. My friend and I was looking for a new coffee shop/ bakery to try and this popped up and we had never seen it before. We decided to take the drive and check it out. First off, the place is stunning! From the moment we walked in, the service stood out the owner's wife took our order and she was sweeter than the beignets themselves. She walked us through the menu, gave recommendations, and really made us feel welcome. We tried the strawberry shortcake latte and the cookie butter latte. Both were perfectly sweet, beautifully decorated, and delicious. For food, we ordered two honey chicken croissant sandwiches (absolutely amazing!) along with a plain order of beignets served with caramel and blueberry sauces. What really blew us away was the attention to detail. As we were eating, the owner's wife noticed that our first batch of beignets came out a little flat. She explained they should be puffier, let us keep that batch, and then had the kitchen make a fresh, perfect set just for us. That level of care for a first-time guest's experience is rare and so appreciated. The beignets literally melted in our mouths, and the dipping sauces were incredible. The space is large, bright and inviting with plenty of room for larger parties. The customer service was exceptional; the cashier was friendly, knowledgeable and greeted us with a warm smile. We decided to go with an iced, biscoff, cookie butter latte and the regular size was plentiful. I couldn't believe how big the beverage was and it wasn't even a large. We decided not to get a beignet because we just had breakfast but the food options were pretty good as well, they even have some beer and wine options on the menu. We walked in and it was raining outside my baby boy slipped on the floor and they didn't have a wet floor sign. So please be careful the floor is a classic checker floor that give French vibes and the place is so cute . I'm not a coffee person at all but I tried it and it wasn't for me . The Beignets are a must the only thing is that in order to get different flavors you have to buy a dozen which is kind of a lot . We also did the chicken and beignets , and an order of regular beignets (which came with 4) we should of got a specialty flavor but we realized to late, and the line started to get long. Finding good beignets can be a difficult task because they are either soggy or too crispy but these were perfect! Their nutella latte was also really good. A great addition to the plaza and has become one of the spots I try to stop by when I find myself going to the super target in the area. They have a wide selection of beignets and drinks. Of course their famous beignets were delicious and fluffy. It is more on the sweeter side but they do have a chicken and beignets which is currently their only savory dish that was some chicken tenders over beignets. The service was fast but it can get crowded and it is a small space. The air conditioner could have been low that day but it was quite hot when inside. It is Florida but eating hot beignets on a hot day was a tough. All in all if you are looking for a sweet fix, try them out. This place is absolutely lovely. The staff was very accommodating. We got a chai sugar, cookie drink, hot, and an iced Earl Grey, tea with honey, and cold foam, iced caramel mocha, and a set of the classic beignets. The beignets were really great. they are a little bit more cake like than traditional beignets, but not in a bad way and of course there was powdered sugar everywhere all over us. I have to we finished eating. This place does share their seating space with the bar next-door so there's plenty of seating. The aesthetics are very cute. People that ordered coffee drinks were waiting a long time for their orders, they had a hard time fulfilling these and it was not busy. My husband took me here to try it out since he drove by it a few weeks ago whiike doing errands. For a place that's so small it had a great selection of beignets and coffees. The beignets were amazing! I have never been to NOLA, but I have tried any I could find in the PNW. These are by far the best I have tried! Warm, slightly crisp, pillowy and sweet. We tried a variety of topping, but I think the original was already perfection. I wish this was closer to me! Such a fun place to take out of town visitors and very close to Gatorland!
