Asian buffet in Stockton in the previous Home Town Buffet location. An adult dinner is $27.99 and they offer a discount for seniors 65+. They have lots of variety with sushi, fresh stir fry, seafood, and drinks included (Pepsi products and tea). For an asian buffet, it was pretty good and I've come with my parents a few times.

It is definitely worth it to get the "Dinner price" to get the crab legs! If you pay for the Lunch option, it doesn't include the crab legs. Their sushi their is also pretty good. I go for the raw salmon which was yummy, soft, smooth.

Good price for the decent buffet items my favorite is crunchy sushi roll, salmon nigiri, fresh stir fry meats and noodles you build yourself they cook, oyster, cocktail shrimp, crab bar, honey walnut prawns. There's plenty of items to choose from. They have a fruit bar, coffee, teas and sodas, dessert bar was lacking :(. Staff was friendly, clean spacious restaurant. I would come back. I had about 5 plates of food and soup.

I recently was taken out to lunch in Stockton for my birthday and we went to the Beijing Buffet! Reasonably priced for the quality and variety of foods available! So many items to choose from including beef, pork, chicken, seafood, salads, sushi, a Mongolian grill, beverages and desserts! Payment is made upon entering the restaurant before being unleashed into an expansive dining area that reminds me of a cafeteria like atmosphere. Let's be real, people come here to eat, it's not a place to bring your date! It's all pretty much self serve but the staff will answer any questions and are friendly and efficient when it comes to clearing your table in between trips to the food offerings. The sushi area offers many options for maki sushi but they also offer a variety of nigiri as well. All the accompaniments are available like wasabi, pickled ginger and seaweed salad. Everything I tried was fresh and delicious. The salad bar offers the usual suspects but also a selection of kimchi and one of my favorites, baby octopus. There are so many variations of chicken, beef, pork and shrimp dishes to mention cooked up fried, sautéed and wok seared. They also had whole fillets of baked salmon and a crawfish boil. Everything was delicious and well prepared. I didn't have room for dessert but they have a variety of cakes and pies, ice cream and a chocolate fountain. I will definitely be returning.

If you're a Stockton local, you know that this place is the best deal in town if you've got a big appetite. You'll know this by the large number of local customers there at any time during the day. I've read a lot of comments on this thread about the service, but let's be real people, this place is always so busy, and to keep costs down, it appears that management only got one waitress to bus tables, you really can't expect to have your finished dishes whisked away from your table the moment you finish eating. I'm a sushi freak, and their offerings alone are the price of admission. But if you're really hungry, go for the Mongolian BBQ...

Kind of expensive, but the food quality is amazing for being a buffet. Huge variety from sushi to Chinese food. Food quality and flavor are excellent.

i mean lowkey hell yea. i would say definitely worth the price considering it's all you can eat and drinks are included. You can also do mongolian bbq, picking out your noodles and veggies before giving it to the chef to cook up. they have good sushi, honestly better than some sushi restaurants i have gone to. i liked a lot of the things i tried here, some i wasn't extremely fond of but that's the beauty of a buffet, you pick what you like and leave what you don't. i enjoyed everything i picked for my plates, shrimps were delish. i was pleasantly surprised to see they had plantains which made the whole trip worth it to me. i love plantains and they were cooked so perfectly and still hot. the only thing on my plate i didn't really like were the cream cheese wontons because they were cold. that's another thing, some things may be room temperature and if you're like me who's pretty picky about wanting their food super hot, be weary. overall, a good experience. the place is huge with lots of seating so you don't gotta necessarily sit next to anybody or any other parties. i would say service is pretty decent, our plates got picked up after stacking up a little high but then they got on it! i like the vibe of this place. i would say it's worth it. excellent diet pepsi.

Great to see now serving oysters!

This is a follow-up of my review a year ago. Back then, I gave my actual rating 3.5 stars and gave feedback that it would be nice if have oysters as part of the menu for at least the dinners and weekends. Happy to now return and see that oysters are part of the menus, which I did not see earlier. Thank you Beijing Buffet for listening and considering customer's request or recommendations. Shows you care!! My actual rating for this follow-up is 4.5 stars, but Yelp does not have 1/2 stars.

There…read morearen't a lot of great Chinese buffet options in the area, so I came in with reasonable expectations, and this place exceeded them. Before I get into the review, I think it's only fair to mention that I rate buffets differently than traditional restaurants. My expectations are based on other buffets, where freshness, consistency, food rotation, and value matter just as much as presentation. This feels more like a small, family-owned neighborhood buffet than a large commercial chain, and I actually think that's part of its charm. The buffet isn't huge, but I'd rather have a smaller selection that's done well than a massive buffet where half the food has been sitting under heat lamps for hours. I sampled most of the buffet, and overall I was impressed. My favorite dishes were the beef chow fun noodles, chow mein, honey pork, fried rice, teriyaki chicken, and the spicy chicken wings. The wings were especially good, they were nice and meaty with a great flavor and weren't loaded with fat like buffet wings sometimes are. Other solid choices were the sweet and sour pork, broccoli beef, and fried green beans. The only items that didn't really stand out to me were the vegetable egg rolls and crab rangoons. They weren't bad by any means, just average compared to the rest of the buffet. One thing that really stood out was how well the buffet was maintained. A staff member was constantly cleaning, rotating trays, and refilling food, so everything stayed warm and fresh throughout my visit. I never came across anything that was cold or looked like it had been sitting for a long time. The soda station was clean, drinks were self-serve, and the staff was friendly whenever I interacted with them. Most of the customers seemed to be ordering takeout rather than dining in, and after seeing the portions, I completely understand why. The takeout containers were packed so full they were almost difficult to close. For the price, the value here is outstanding. The only reason I'm not giving this place five stars comes down to presentation. The dining room itself is clean, but it's very simple. From the drink station you can see directly into part of the kitchen, and the plumbing underneath the soda and ice machine is exposed, which makes the restaurant feel less polished. I didn't see anything that made me question the cleanliness or food safety; it was more of an aesthetic issue than a sanitation concern, but it does affect the overall atmosphere. That said, when I judge this place as a buffet rather than comparing it to a full-service restaurant, the food quality, freshness, service, and value easily outweigh those cosmetic issues. Would I come back? Absolutely. If you're looking for an affordable Chinese buffet with consistently fresh food, friendly staff, generous portions, and flavors that honestly surprised me, M Kitchen Buffet is definitely worth checking out.

The car show happened to take place in the same parking lot as K-Town, so we just decided to have dinner here instead of sitting in the drive-thru line at In-N-Out. The inside is modernly lit with lots of wood motif and black. Oversized lightbulbs filled with faux flower petals hang from the ceiling. A random cartoon plays on the wall TV. For a weekday dinner bbq, we paid about $37 per person with no additional hot pot add-on. We got a good spread of drinks (they have boba!), but they are also an additional cost. The AYCE includes access to the buffet area, which has sushi (sashimi!), buffalo wings, seafood boil, a bunch of fried/breaded offerings, and all the sauces/accoutrements for both hotpot and kbbq. I was impressed by the short rib marinade here. The beef was meaty with a good texture. Some of the cubed meats were a little tough but could be due to the way we cooked it. The pork belly was sliced too thin for my liking (too bacony). We got the cheese sticks from the buffet and reheated them over the grill and made our own version of a Chili's Triple Dipper. Service was fine. We placed our orders with a guy and he would come around occasionally for a grill change and taking away plates. Between the two KBBQ AYCE I've been to in Stockton recently, I think K-Town wins. Overall, I came out stuffed and would definitely return.

I'm normally fairly wary of buffets due to their association with watery, reheated and kept warm, questionable food with a focus on quantity over quality. That is NOT the case with this Golden Corral. The highlights: - incredible, high-end tasting sirloin steaks, grilled fresh and to order right in front of you. Not sitting in a warmer or in a pile getting wet! They're extremely, unbelievably tender and juicy. My gf said she liked it better than Texas Roadhouse, which costs the same amount or more, and it's not even AYCE! - the best dessert station in the buffet game. There's real soft serve ice cream (not that icy garbage at most buffets), real HOT fudge (not cold chocolate syrup), fresh cakes, and bread pudding - the real star for me: an ICEE machine! You can have as many Icees as you want! This is also the highest quality icee machine I've ever seen. The drinks literally never melt and separate, you can drink them all the way down without the classic slushee issue of the syrup separating from the ice - fantastic sides and appetizers. Above standard buffet pizza, good onion rings and fries, surprisingly good fried shrimp, an enormous and fully stocked salad bar, and really delicious rolls and biscuits. Don't fill up on this stuff though, save room for the steak! - friendly and attentive staff working their butts off to get everyone then food and service they needed, which was honestly surprising. Never a long wait for the steaks, and all the food was constantly being restocked and made fresh. - a cozy, recently remodeled, quiet venue. Not the chaotic hustle and bustle of a normal buffet, this place accommodated quiet, intimate conversations. There's even a fireplace to sit by! Everyone is so locked in on the delicious steak that there's no screaming and yelling from bored and restless children, just quiet, peaceful decadence.
