    Clean place

OK, first of all let me say this is the first time we've been to this location and it has been open for six months. The ambience is very nice and clean and the service was very good. They took care of us and had enough people to do so. The food was pretty good. Something's better than other as usual the area where they cook it for you was OK a little bland. They did have a cold area, which they had a shrimp ceviche that was good. The sushi was decent very tasty overall not bad one thing they had here that they don't have at other places was the dim sum that was a BIG plus. We will be back in to try the dinner. It was pretty much the same price as Beijing buffet so next I will try the dinner which supposedly has lobster and I will see if the stars go up or stay the same I will put up a couple of pictures so you can check it out if you are on the area come try it out.

Today is Tuesday April 21st 2026 I'm sorry I'm late I can't find the receipt but this was like a grand opening and we had to wait in a line for a little bit. The food was good that atmosphere was a little hectic I know if I go again I want to try everything.

We tried this place for lunch, they had an abundant choices for lunch. There was a selection of seafood items like sushi, steamed fish, fried fish, crawfish, mussels, & shrimp. There was a variety of Chinese dishes as well. I gave 3 stars since it was our first time eating here. The food quality was good but nothing to be really impressed about, considering this is a Buffet. There just below some of the other Buffet and Asian AYCE restaurants in this Area.

This is the real deal, real lobsters at a buffet. And they are not cheap about the lobsters either. This is the best oysters I ate at, at a buffet. Usually it's fishy or smelly or old. The server was so kind, getting my drinks and taking my dishes away.

It's not a fair comparison when comparing buffets to regular restaurants. The quality of the food, food options, level of service, price and cleanliness should be compared against typical buffets. This place, although not great, does check all the boxes with a passing grade. They did serve lobster for their dinner buffet, but I think the lobster was owed and mushy. If you are a fan of ayce Chinese buffets, give them a try and you be the judge

The line was super long. I couldn't complain since this is a new buffet place here @stockton. The price was expensive. I didn't really knew why but I guess because they had lobster and snail . The other places didn't have any of those. Every food I have picked and tried were very good. At the end the workers handed a calendar gift as a way of saying Thank you for coming.

There…read morearen't a lot of great Chinese buffet options in the area, so I came in with reasonable expectations, and this place exceeded them. Before I get into the review, I think it's only fair to mention that I rate buffets differently than traditional restaurants. My expectations are based on other buffets, where freshness, consistency, food rotation, and value matter just as much as presentation. This feels more like a small, family-owned neighborhood buffet than a large commercial chain, and I actually think that's part of its charm. The buffet isn't huge, but I'd rather have a smaller selection that's done well than a massive buffet where half the food has been sitting under heat lamps for hours. I sampled most of the buffet, and overall I was impressed. My favorite dishes were the beef chow fun noodles, chow mein, honey pork, fried rice, teriyaki chicken, and the spicy chicken wings. The wings were especially good, they were nice and meaty with a great flavor and weren't loaded with fat like buffet wings sometimes are. Other solid choices were the sweet and sour pork, broccoli beef, and fried green beans. The only items that didn't really stand out to me were the vegetable egg rolls and crab rangoons. They weren't bad by any means, just average compared to the rest of the buffet. One thing that really stood out was how well the buffet was maintained. A staff member was constantly cleaning, rotating trays, and refilling food, so everything stayed warm and fresh throughout my visit. I never came across anything that was cold or looked like it had been sitting for a long time. The soda station was clean, drinks were self-serve, and the staff was friendly whenever I interacted with them. Most of the customers seemed to be ordering takeout rather than dining in, and after seeing the portions, I completely understand why. The takeout containers were packed so full they were almost difficult to close. For the price, the value here is outstanding. The only reason I'm not giving this place five stars comes down to presentation. The dining room itself is clean, but it's very simple. From the drink station you can see directly into part of the kitchen, and the plumbing underneath the soda and ice machine is exposed, which makes the restaurant feel less polished. I didn't see anything that made me question the cleanliness or food safety; it was more of an aesthetic issue than a sanitation concern, but it does affect the overall atmosphere. That said, when I judge this place as a buffet rather than comparing it to a full-service restaurant, the food quality, freshness, service, and value easily outweigh those cosmetic issues. Would I come back? Absolutely. If you're looking for an affordable Chinese buffet with consistently fresh food, friendly staff, generous portions, and flavors that honestly surprised me, M Kitchen Buffet is definitely worth checking out.

There were not as many people in the restaurant this time. The food tasted better, and I got more fish. Gyoza and spring rolls were available and good. They have a bar, which is the best place to get a seat so you can be in front of the sushi conveyor. Husband ordered the tuna handroll, seems like it is not placed in the conveyor. You do not pay extra for it but you can tip. Sushi rolls tasted good, but the protein on top is really thin. I felt I was eating mostly rice with sauce or imitation crab. Protein on nigiri was thin as well. I'm unsure if getting a couple of nigiri and combining the protein while ignoring the other portion of rice would be a good resolution to this as the rice will be wasted. Aside from the fried shrimp and fried chicken wings, I did not enjoy the cooked selection. They have ice cream. You basically go to the freezer and grab your own with a scooper. It was unappetizing because the scooper is dipped in water which did not appear clean. This is understandable though, as you were supposed to dip the scooper in the water to rinse it off so the flavor does not get mixed with the other. Unclear water is just not a good sight to see in a restaurant.

The car show happened to take place in the same parking lot as K-Town, so we just decided to have dinner here instead of sitting in the drive-thru line at In-N-Out. For a weekday dinner bbq, we paid about $37 per person with no additional hot pot add-on. We got a good spread of drinks (they have boba!), but they are also an additional cost. The AYCE includes access to the buffet area, which has sushi (sashimi!), buffalo wings, seafood boil, a bunch of fried/breaded offerings, and all the sauces/accoutrements for both hotpot and kbbq. I was impressed by the short rib marinade here. The beef was meaty with a good texture. Some of the cubed meats were a little tough but could be due to the way we cooked it. The pork belly was sliced too thin for my liking (too bacony). We got the cheese sticks from the buffet and reheated them over the grill and made our own version of a Chili's Triple Dipper. Service was fine. We placed our orders with a guy and he would come around occasionally for a grill change and taking away plates.
