Really liked the food. Yeah. The buffalo wings are sweet but they are juicy and tender. The noodles have a very rich flavor spicy but not that much.

Y'all I was leaving the barber shop and saw this. This cannot be approved by the health department and they don't have a screen on the door. The door is wide opened for anything to come in. Also it's lots of cats back there and it smells like cat pee back there. It's disgusting . I just want people to see where they are eating from

I was seriously hungry and in need of food. In that regard, I was more than satisfied: I ordered a spicy Hunan chicken and was pleased to see that there was just as much veggies in the dish as there was chicken (gotta get my greens in!) I'm talking carrots, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, mushrooms, snow peas, and most of all, a heaping mountain of broccoli! This is ideal for me, since too often then not I am not served many veggies along with my food at small Chinese restaurants. The white rice came in a Chinese takeout box on the side, which kind of made it difficult to eat together with the Hunan chicken. Okay, so ingredients out of the way, the dish itself was nothing special whatsoever. I dare say, even bland. It's too bad since the presentation and cooking techniques were on point (the chicken wasn't dry, and the broccoli still retained a solid crunch). But the sauce was just not doing anything. It was just kind of there as a present, oily substance. The spice wasn't overwhelming at all, in fact I got more heat from eating too fast and burning my tongue on the broccoli (I had somewhere to be afterward). I wouldn't choose to eat here again if all of their food was of the same taste, which is again too bad since the cooking was actually well done. The flavors were just, nonexistent? Basically, I only ate it to quell my hunger and to not actually enjoy the taste, which is not the goal. I can't complain too much though, it could have been worse (I would rather be served an under seasoned dish than an over seasoned one, have you tasted pure sesame oil?) The food itself is relatively cheap, but I can't see myself coming back here unfortunately. If their execution improves, this would be a hit!

Beijing Delight is a gross place to eat. The aesthetics of the restaurant is poor. I arrived at the restaurant already place a order using Grubhub. I went to pick up the order but first got a haircut in the same plaza of the restaurant. I parked next to the restaurant. The owner arrive to the barbershop shortly afterwards & warned me to move. The owner gave me (5) minutes to move. I was in the middle of my haircut. The owner of Beijing Delight was rude & rather up-noxious. The restaurant is hardly busy. However, the restaurant monitors the parking spaces & will cause an unpleasant scene if you park & not go into the dirty restaurant. Needless to say, due to the owner's response, I canceled my order. I ended up moving my car & finishing the haircut. The owner rude disposition & poor restaurant quality changed my appetite & mind. Be ware!!!

This place really surprised me. After living in China for 5 years there are certain goods that I…read moremiss. Good noodles is one of them. I had high hopes since the menu includes intestines and other items that clearly are not meant for white customers. I am very happy to have a very tasty Chinese restaurant close to me. Dry pork noodles: These were the best IMO. Nice and spicy, with great flavors all around. I suggest getting the pork chop (add on) since there is not a lot of meat that comes with the dish normally. Beef noodle soup: Tasted very authentic and had a great broth. Thin slices of beef reminded me of real Chinese noodle soups. Spicy dry chicken noodles; Very similar to the pork noodles. What I really enjoy is that these are actually spicy dishes! I never had to add chili sauce!! Pork and chive dumplings: These were solid. The sesame dipping sauce is fine, but a mixture of Chinese vinegar (you rarely find this!) and chili sauce are good compliments. Cucumbers: These were more garlic-y then what I had in China, but are still good. Adding a little Chinese vinegar to them really takes them up a notch.

Came here for lunch with a friend on a weekend. We ate family style and ordered the scallion…read morepancakes, the spicy sesame paste tofu, the spicy oil wonton pork, the chive and pork dumplings and the sesame balls (filled with red bean paste). Total (not including tip) came out to approximately $49. What's Hot - Menu. Excellent. It's also written in Chinese in addition to English. For those of us familiar with traditional ethnic Chinese food, a menu written in Chinese is a good sign. They have traditional Taiwanese and Chinese food like scallion pancakes, sesame balls, beef noodle soup, soup dumplings, etc... Very good variety and there appears to be something for everyone, possibly with the exception of vegan dishes.. - Quality. Pretty good. Their scallion pancake was soft, not too oily, and not too salty. I prefer the scallion pancake to have been a bit more thick and flaky, but that's my personal preference. To be fair, still delicious. Their chive and pork dumplings definitely had a delicious chive flavor. Substantial and the wrapper was not too thick. Their spicy sesame paste tofu had a good flavor and substantive. The chili oil wontons were not too spicy and had a good flavor. Again, my personal preference would have been for the dumplings to have been more substantive, but still pretty decent. - Service. Pretty good. It appears most, if not all their staffers, speak Chinese (Mandarin), which was also helpful, because I specifically ordered in Chinese. I asked them about the spice level, because I wanted to ensure it would not be too spicy for my friend. - Price. Pretty good value for menu and portions. - Location. It's pretty easy to find. Also within convenient walking distance to the Silver Spring metro. The inside space is pretty good. Tables can seat a minimum of 2, all the way up to 8. What's Not - Quality. The sesame balls are smaller than I expected. They're the rough approximation of a ping pong ball, maybe smaller. I was disappointed, because I like sesame balls that are substantial. - Service. I specifically asked for soup spoons, because we were eating dumplings. Instead, they gave me regular spoons. Not all the dishes come out in the order you hope. For example, main dishes may come out before the appetizers. This is going to be dependent on your personal preference. - Parking. There is parking near the restaurant, but it's going to be dependent on the day and time. Final Answer Worth coming back.

None of us were from this area, and we intended to go to the Mayflower Chinese Restaurant, based on Yelp reviews. However, once we walked in the door, it was apparent this place was focused on carryout, and there was no way we were staying to eat in their dingy entrance area. We walked next door to the Meleket Ethiopian restaurant. However, the place was deserted, and we didn't stay there either. We tried the Lime & Cilantro, the next place down, but it was packed and couldn't handle our group. So, we skipped past the verernary clinic and went to Spring Garden. And, what a great choice that was. They offer a huge menu of Chinese, Thai, and Japanese meals. Everything is reasonably priced. Once we got our food, we were impressed with the quality and portion sizes. And, through it all, the service was prompt and friendly. I ordered Hot and Sour soup (my bellwether for Chinese restaurants) and beef chow fun. The soup was flavorful without being overpowering, and the chow fun was delicious too. I liked everything so much that I ordered another soup and Thai Basil with Chicken to go, and that's been my lunch for the past couple of days. Don't be put off by the seediness of its location. Spring Garden is a great place to grab some tasty, reasonably priced food, either to eat in or take away.
