To be fair, wings have to have a specific flavor and texture in order for me to truly enjoy them. I totally understand the process of what makes something halal, including what gives the chicken the red color, but this chicken was simply too red for me to eat, like beet red. The raw onions provided some crunch and a bit of a palette cleanse before the next bite. Originally we were thinking about getting the box. But the sample was so good, and we knew we wouldn't come back that way for a while, so we got a half tray of a mix of beef and wings along with a "small" tray of jollof. It took about 25-30 minutes for our big order to be ready. The young lady handed us this gorgeous insulated bag with Project Suya on it and it was hefty. She also slipped in a pineapple soda to our order for free. We had food for days! We got to enjoy the "Benito Bowl" while we ate West African grilled meats. Ah! The beauty of living in MOCO.
